Friendly, social, sports atmosphere with good food especially wings. Plus they let you spin the wheel for a free shot.

It’s a pretty large southern-style sports bar with good service and ample outdoor seating when the weather is nice. I came here for drinks with a few friends the other day and had a good time. It wasn’t crazy busy and we were seated at one of the large circle tables in the middle, which is nice — they’re so much better than rectangle tables when you can’t hear what’s going on at the other end of the table. Our waitress was super nice and came by quickly and often during our stay(the manager even walked by towards the end to ask how everything was going). Their drink menu/selection is okay… would’ve expected it to be a bit better/larger given that it’s a sports bar. The good news is that they have the standard stuff on tap — a couple of IPAs, and the generic American beers — bud, sam, etc. They have their own specialty southern style drinks too — margaritas and such, which I’m sure are good, but none of us got them. Regarding their food options, there’s not much that’s vegetarian. I love southern style food — biscuits, corn bread, etc., but the only thing veggie on their menu were a couple of apps, mac & cheese, and a veggie burger. Nobody was that hungry, so I just ordered the mozzarella sticks, which were decent — normal, nothing fancy. The sauce they give you doesn’t have much flavor or tang to it like a typical marinara sauce. Overall, a solid place for happy hour drinks with great service. I’ll come by here again and try their veggie burger.

Really fun place for drinks and food with friends. They had this great happy hour deal where drinks were half off and they were pretty tasty. The food and apps were good as well, and I’m not claiming them to be some fancy, super impressive place for a meal. But for bar food, this place has some decent spinach dip, mozz sticks and burgers. I was a little miffed that the shooting arcade game had one of the guns busted but what can you do.

Omfg the beers… select! The taps are so cold and ready to serrrve. The staff at the bar(Meghan) is extremely attentive and always available to gimmie for the next round. The ambiance screams that 70’s show from the vinyl record covered ceiling to the sea of beer tops glued to the bar top. Mirrored bar back is covered with xxx-mas lights from Chevy Chases’ Christmas vacation home décor minus the burning Christmas tree and adorable black cat.

Remember you’re hearing from someone that loves bar food! I love this place. I’m always meaning to go and never get there. First I need a powerful appetite to go. Portions are huge. They have several specialty deserts that will tempt me. I run for the Tums when I leave! They have daily deals you can’t beat! You can try a new dish each day half price. I love the roadhouse atmosphere. The place is a mish mash of color and things to look at on the walls and everywhere. I love the Mississippi Mud Pie! Give me the fried chicken! You can eat in or sit outside. Patience is a virtue when you order and wait for service. Be able to relax a while. Sit and enjoy the vibes. You need to like a wild crazy menu with all kinds of comfort food. If you can tolerate a loud noisy atmosphere where people are enjoying a few and watching sports(and each other); you’ll like Dukes Original Roadhouse NYC! Whether you’re a tourist or local it’s a fun place.

Went for brunch, but got there late, so just did a meal and some drinks. There are weekly meal specials. Saturday and Sunday is ½ chicken and waffles. makes them about $ 7. You get a waffle, 4 – 5 well seasoned chicken fingers, Sriracha syrup, and two sides of your choice. On Saturdays, there’s also ½ of the spiked lemonade(Jim beam and lemonade), which makes it about $ 5. No complaints about the drinks, food or service. I would go back again.

I came here with 2 friends on a Sunday afternoon. It was crowded but we were seated right away. Our server was extremely friendly and informed us of their«liquid brunch» which included all you could drink mimosas, bloody Mary’s, or screwdrivers for $ 15. Some of us took advantage of this deal others ordered the 100+ oz beer towers for $ 25. We all enjoyed the burgers which come with a healthy serving of fries as well as their delicious buffalo wings. There is a great selection of hot sauce around the restaurant with fun names that were delicious! We had a great time here and would definitely recommend this place for brunch. Prices were great and plenty of tvs to watch all the football games!

I’ve walked by this place so many times, finally decided to check it out! They have a pretty good happy hour Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Half price specialty cocktails, drafts, bottles and appetizers. There is plenty of seating inside, but I really like the outside seating on a nice day! I didn’t try any specialty cocktails, but the beer selection was decent enough for the price. The appetizers weren’t large portions, but at half price it’s pretty good. We got the Shrimp and Mozzarella sticks. Both were good, not amazing bar food, but what I expected from a place like Dukes. Servers were all very helpful and friendly. Very casual place, great to sit and rest at, grab some drinks and some food. Also has TVs, so a great place to watch games :) The ambiance is a little more divvy, but it has its own kind of vibe going for it and it works. For the prices for drinks and the larger space, I would come here again for happy hour and would recommend this place to others.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch or after work drinks because I work a few blocks away. This check in is for my NFL Sunday experience. I’m a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan so I need to usually go somewhere where they play all of the games on multiple televisions. Dukes is perfect for viewing all of the games. It’s a great setup that allows everyone to get a chance to see whatever game is going on. Food: We started with the buffalo wings, then the pulled pork sliders, and finished with the molten lava cookie cake. I really enjoyed the wings. They are a little on the smokey kinda BBQ side, but good meaty wings with a gold blue cheese dipping side. I didn’t enjoy the pulled pork sliders too much. There wasn’t much sauce on the bun, the pork wasn’t shredded enough, and the slaw was very crunchy and just didn’t work me for overall. My girlfriend got the dessert and I only had a bite. Seemed pretty good though. I love the hot/cold desserts where the cookie is hot and the cream is cold. Makes for a good balance. They have a few good drink specials but we stayed with the $ 10 pitchers. Beer, wings, and football. Yes, I will be back on Sunday’s to watch more football.

I’m going to give this place a four star but it’s more like a 3.5 for me. They had every NFL game on TV, even a tiny TV in the former with the Buccs game on which is what we were there to see. Ordered wings, pulled pork sliders, and the molten lava cookie for dessert. $ 10 Bud Light pitchers were a good deal. The wings were pretty good however they either tasted too smokey or too BBQ for my tastes. Pulled pork wasn’t great, the pork should have been more shredded rather than large pieces on a bun with crunchy slaw. The cookie was good, but the molten lava in the center wasn’t very molten it was more like a large solid chocolate chip. We’ll probably be back for NFL Sunday next week, and will look forward to trying something new on the menu.

Came for a Seinfeld trivia night and my cousin saw a couple of usable Groupon and Unilocal coupons. Both the $ 10 for $ 20 and the 50% off deals looked good. Overall it’s a pretty nice place and the staff are pretty friendly. But the wait is what kills you. from the looks of it, it looks like each waitress has at least five tables to look over and ours was no different. Cheeseburger sliders-I got to say, the only good thing about this was the bread. The burger was a little overcooked, char being the major flavor. Cheese wasn’t fully melted. Sautéed mushrooms were OK. Just really wasn’t impressive or anything worth bragging about. Philly cheesesteak appetizer-this was surprisingly pretty good, really savory me, and gooey cheese to boot. Served in a iron skillet, the bread was nicely toasted and added a nice crunch to the overall experience. Just the only weird thing about this was that the sandwiches were cut in such odd portions. Ultimate nachos-this wasn’t bad, the chips were OK, but it seemed kind of messy. some beans here, some cheese there, some meat here, I just really had no idea what was going on. Plus, I think because we waited so long, the cheese may have hardened at some point and created these really stuck-together clumps of chips. Spinach artichoke dip with chips-this is pretty good. The crumbs on top at a nice texture, and the flavor of the spinach artichoke was pretty nice too. The chips are the same as the ultimate nachos. Good presentation. Would order it again. Overall, the experience was OK, the trivia being centerpiece of the night. Would I come back? Probably only for the half off appetizers.

The service: terrible. Many different servers. Took 20 minutes before water or taking order. Another 15 to get drinks. Food: wings are the star. Chicken and waffles sad sad sad. Some random strip/nugget things. It’s just NG not good. Come for booze that’s it. I guess.
