First of all, extra star just for their selection, not for their product or service. Well, in their business their product depends on their service. Which is pretty poor but on that in a bit. Somehow it came out to $ 140 for a one single belt, but being an accountant I should’ve realized in advance after picking all of the«bells and whistles». On the other hand, I recently bought an amazing Italian DSquared2 for under $ 100 so maybe $ 140 for this is still too much. Now on to «bells and whistles» and other reasons for this review. My goal was simple: to find a simple dark blue leather belt that will be conservative enough for dress pants yet cool enough for jeans. Yet, I basically found only one option for the buckle and one for the leather. I went with a chrome buckle and made sure they used chrome snaps(note: snaps option which allows for easily replaceable buckles was obviously an extra charge but chrome ones were even more). I explained to them my goal, and somehow/for some reason they convinced me to get a longer slack(longer belt) even though I told them with dress pants it’ll be even smaller size cause I don’t wear them on hips like the jeans). Well after months of never ever wearing the belt with dress pants cause that slack would stick out thru 2 loops and all the way on the side I finally made it back to the store and explained my issue. After becoming visibly unhappy she took the belt and I heard something even more unhappy related to snaps and turning around said it’ll cost $ 10. Well, I won’t get into how convincing I can be, but they finally agreed to do it for free and voila! 2 mins later I get a shorter belt with DARKGREYSNAPS! Apparently the chrome ones were discontinued so now I am stuck with blue belt/chrome buckle/black snaps. Happy shopping, today all dads get 10% off by the way(not sure that makes it worth it tho, not for me at least…) Sorry about any typos, typing en route back from them.

absolutely loved here the staff who was helping me was very friendly and helpful price-wise, considering the fact that you could design your own belts with good quality materials, it was very reasonable I would definitely recommend this store!

I’m a big fan of these guys. I’ve bought three belts here so far, and super happy with all of them. Great place to design your own belt, and get something that stands out and screams ‘designer’. Staff have always been super nice, so don’t know what the benchmark for ‘snooty’ is in new york. Yes, it’s expensive. You’re looking at 80 – 150 $ per belt depending on strap and buckle. But they are, and do feel unique. They also do cool leather bracelets for men or women that are worth checking out. Designed by the staff. Go, check it out! I always make a stop here when I’m in NY.

The men’s black belts were low quality, which may be why the staff has to throw all sorts of attitude around, as a kind of smoke-and-mirrors to make you think they’re something special. I can’t speak for the buckles, as I felt shooed out if there as soon as it became apparent that I wasn’t likely to make a purchase. I ended up buying a far nicer soft leather belt from a kiosk outside of Marshall’s in Atlantic Center(of all places) for $ 5, which goes to show what a rip-off Badichi is. That said, I don’t know where else you might find belts in vibrant colors like they had, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Such a cute store. It is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a customized belt. The price is a bit steep, the buckles start at $ 20 and the leather at $ 40. Basically you pick a buckle and then the belt and they put it together to fit you. They also do belt repairs. So if there is a belt that you are in love with and want to salvage parts from it, they can help you build a new one that will be just as nice as the old one.
