When I was first greeted at the door they asked us for our party size, which we told them was 8 and consisted of 2 males. They then told us that they don’t like letting a lot of males in & if we have a party of 8 we must do bottle service. Which already started the night off wrong.
Then the waitresses there hound you and lurk around every corner asking you to buy more stuff.
The tried to play a variety of music but it was pretty pathetic the way he mixed it together.
There’s two seperate rooms that arent closed off but are suppose to play different music but ended up playing rather similar selections.
The liquor is potent
The space is nice && decorated well
If your sitting down you can tuck away your belongings to make more space
Oh and best of all the refill the coal all night
The hookah was probably the best thing about this place it wasn’t to harsh on your lungs and it hardly had a chance to burn since they kept changing it.

Eh don’t think I’d come back here. It seems like it has potential to be great but what was annoying was they seem to have a thing against letting in guys. I get to regulate but it leads to it being a bunch of girls in the place. Which is very unappealing because uh… As girls going to a club we’d like guys around. So that was a downfall it was way too many girls.
My friends got two hookahs and drinks I didn’t. They seemed satisfied with what they got so it’s probably okay. No one complained. But it was wack.
Oh and dress up or not. People had heels and sandals on. So it really didn’t matter. I had heels on then changed into sandals and it wasn’t a big deal so that’s a plus. It’s pretty causal if you want it to be.

This is my go to place almost 2 years!
No matter where i am partying with my friends i’m gonna finish the night in Babylon!
Lately i had a lots of guests in New York, i brought all of ‘em here and they left satisfied)
Staff very nice and attentive.
Quality music (2 areas in the place R&B and Electro music).
Hookah with huge choice of flavors!
The owners are turkish guys, so you can find some food from mediterranean cuisine (hummus, kebabs).
Full bar!
Also they have bellydancers on fridays and saturdays (show starts around 10 pm)!
Dont forget your ID!!! Security not messin around!

Terrible customer service! We saw the waitress for our initial order than she was no where to be found. we had to pay inside because we never saw her again. Plenty of other decent hookah bars in the area. Avoid this place. Oh and did I mention you have to wear a ballistic vest when you walk around the inside so you don’t get shot by some of the patrons.
Update: I figured out why the customer service is so bad. The gratuity is included in the check so they don’t care if you’re happy or not

Do not come here. Stuffy. Over crowded. Over priced. They tried to make us pay $ 40 per person just to get a table that they didn’t even have available. We left and went to Karizma on 51^st street and it was awesome. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Two stories. Good food. Banging hookah.

Do not go here. They refuse to let me in unless they are wearing a specific kind of pants. Worthless place. Not worth anyone’s time. Shut them down.

DO NO GO HERE.
1) The bouncers/“security” are disgusting. For starters, they searched everyone in my party more intruding of personal space than any other search I’ve been to (including every sporting event I have ever been to). The bouncer had his hand in my pants and managed to touch my genitals… Uhhh ok. Even worse, ONE OF THE BOUNCERS TOLD MY GIRLFRIEND THAT HE NEEDS HER TO GET UP AGAINST THE WALL. UNBELIEVABLE!
2) They tried to sell us a table for $ 400 and the place was completely empty. After we left they tried to offer a table for considerably less. It was a Saturday night no less.
3) hookahs are so overpriced, no need to spend your money here.

Came here for an evening of hooka, drinks and catching up with an old friend and had a great time! Great hooka, the staff was careful about replacing the coal regularly and everyone met us with a smile. We were a party of two but when I request the lady to let us sit by the window (which was really a table for four) she was gracious about it and let us. On the condition that should it get too pcked we would agree to move– a fair deal according to me and as expected– did not happen:) great evening, good ambiance accentuated with arabic music and dim lighting adding to the mood. Didn’t eat anything so can’t comment on the food but will definitely be back for the hooka!

We weren’t happy with the hookah but Ali and his team made sure they provide us another one that matched out expectations! Definitely come here!

Ok so bad news first. The hookah tastes like shit. Literally. It had a strange kick to it and you can’t even pull hard to get a beautiful cloud because it’s so harsh and the flavor combinations offered are odd to say the least. However, the strong tasty drinks and AMAZING DJ (I mean seriously a dope hip hop set) make up for it. Also the belly dancers were sweet and talented and the glowing guy was killing it ! Came here for my birthday Saturday night and I will definitely never forget it. Get better hookah and this place is a 10.

Very nice atmosphere! I’ve been here on the weekends when it its jam packed and split into two djs. One playing top 40 music, and the other playing techno music; the best of both worlds 10 steps away ;-). I also have been here on a Tuesday night where it is chill and full but far from crowded with really enjoyable music.
Staff and security are pleasant to interact with (Big Duke!!) lol
I ordered the calamari appetizer and had a good experience! And my friend ordered the buffalo wings which were also tastey.
This establishment will be seeing me quite a bit!!! Great for going with friends or even a date!

Rude stuff, worst hookah ever tried and not helpful hookah guy. Hookah $ 35 with limited selection, when tried to ask to add more coal because its not set up right no smoke from hookah he said its ok as is. Not recommended! Pricey and ghetto style.

We had to go to the bar to order the drink because waiter didn’t allow herself to come up and take the order.

This place sucks. Please stay away. The place smelled like vomit and everything was dirty. The hookah tasted used. The crowd and the staff were shady. On such a prime location I can’t believe this place is so run down. Not to mention the Tito vodka bottle that tasted like water. We googled a whole bunch to to get a little rush, and the bottle was basically chilled and filled with water. On top of that they charged us $ 350 for a bottle that was not vodka. What a waste of a Friday night. My friends and I were very disappointed. Last night was my first time there, and for sure it’ll be our last.

I decided to take my hubby to babylon for a quick drink and some hookah… this place has amazing atmosphere great music. i was surprised how attentive the bartenders were with making sure the coals on the hookah were good so you can get the best pulls from it. plus which was really good they refill your hookah coals for free NO EXTRA charge !!! This guy walks around with hot coals and refills it. the only downside was we had to leave early to make a 1050 movie showing but this place is popping!!!

My group and I came back here for the second time, this time it was happy hour and the prices were fantastic: $ 4 beers and $ 5 well drink. There were 4 of us and the bill came to about $ 50 per person which included tip. We had drinks, shots, and 2 hookah’s. The staff was extremely nice and very attentive. The hookah was great as well.
Honestly, our second time here was better than the first and I’m not sure why this place has received only 3 stars. My group and I are making it a tradition to come back here around the same time every year. We are even going to try to come back more frequently.

This place truly has a great atmosphere. My girlfriend, cousin and wife and I come here once every year around the same time in December. The atmosphere is always great.
Besides it being a little dark your able to come and get a true good night out. Come a little earlier (around 4PM) to experience a more private atmosphere or come later on at night for a live nightlife atmosphere. Either or its always great.
The service can be a little slow, when it comes to food, not the drinks. But your smoking hookah, your in no rush. I would recommend this Hookah bar over and over, but I haven’t experienced anything else in NYC, cause I always trust this place. Give it a try, I doubt you’ll be dissapointed.
PS — The servers/​staff were very honest and clear when it came to choosing a hookah every time around. The happy hour is great, including drink & hookah prices.

I had a great time partying and hookah one night over the summer. Cool spot and good hookah. I didn’t get a really complete feel of the place because we never tried anything but hookah and well drinks but will definitely go back to see the décor again during the day and try some food.

I went here after work with my friends last week just to catch up after a long weekend for happy hour. We ordered the calamari, nachos and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, unfortunately, only the calamari was good. We also ordered hookah and drinks as well. The hookah was good at first but then it started to die out and it took forever to get our coals. As far as the drinks goes, they weren’t too bad, I had worse… There were no follow ups on how we were doing or needed anything else. We ended up flagging down one of the cleaners to get his attention to call the waitress so we can order more drinks. Smh.
When it was time to go, my friends and I went to use the bathroom one by one since there was one available and its unisex. The bathroom was beyond disgusting. The floor, the wall, the mirror were all wet, it smelled horrible in there, the sink was leaking, the toilet definitely has not been cleaned and it was so dark in there. YUCKY!
Overall, we asked for the waitress for our check, our bill came out to be $ 150, so unsatisfying I must say. She asked us for our IDs since we decided to split the bill and put it on our cards. OMG! they took FOREVER just to complete the transaction. One of my friends decided to go up there, bring the bill to the bartender, use the bathroom, then bring the bill back to us from the bartender so we can sign it and bounce. Where was our waitress who freaking knows. Meanwhile, they took so long that our Über driver decided not to wait and leave. If it was my damn choice, I would not have tipped them at all. But these types of places always adds gratuity and I think this is the reason why they decide to act like shitty servers. why am I not surprise.
Will I go back there. I highly doubt it!
OH and the MUSIC was horrible, it was some type of pure moods music as if I’m in YOGA class.

We got the hookah! I heard this place is expensive, but it was all paid for by one of my friend’s friends. Came here to visit a friend we got table service with Hennessey and hookahs. There was an awesome DJ playin the latest East Coast hip hop. Loved the vibe and there was no cover charge at all. Also, I didn’t feel out of place by wearing my jeans and a top.
The servers were great even though I didn’t interact with them. They were good at refilling our hookah, fruit and assorted crackers plate (very similar to the Costco Asian snack mix). I didn’t get to try the hookah, but my friends loved it.
What my friends and I were also wondering the whole night was… how did they manage to make the Hennessey label glow under the black lights?

First time visiting this Hookah joint and was by complete accident. Of course my group is out after work to celebrate Cinco de Mayo (like we need a reason) and we had a horrible experience at the bar right next door. What better way to get revenge, visit the competitor lol.
Hookah is definitely not something I get into (⁴⁄₂₀) but we saw $ 4 margaritas and said what the h3ll let’s try it. The hostess was extremely nice and greeted us at the door (as an establishment should).
The margaritas were amazing so kudos to the bartender but sad to say we didn’t try the hookah but will definitely be back to try it. Who knew so much went or could go into it so thanks to our waiter as she was very knowledgeable. If it weren’t a school night we would have tried it but we’re coming back this weekend.
As for the food, we had the nachos, fried chicken fingers & the calamari. I’m a big fan of calamari and can be kind of a harsh critic since I’ve had some good calamari and fresh is a must. I typically ask if it’s fresh but I didn’t this time since I really wanted it fresh or frozen. Needless to say it wasn’t fresh but was edible so I won’t complain but definitely would not order again. Overall great place, nice environment, cool décor and good service.
