My daughter loves sushi so I promised before we left the city we would try some out and see if it’s better then sushi in Niles Ohio… I should of did my research but we where tired and this was on the way back to our hotel… so we order the Christmas roll, a Philly roll and one other specialty roll… I like eel sauce with my sushi so we asked for that on the side. It took about 15 min for the sushi to come out. no fancy stuff here just straight rolls(I’m use to a little something a flower or even some sauces squirted on top) not here. The Philly roll was a little chewy not sure if it was the rice or the nori… flavor was ok more cream cheese then anything the other two tasted the same both had tempora crab and one with shrimp. they tended to fall apart but flavor was just ok. The total bill was 34 we got charge for the eel sauce which I found silly since none of the rolls had any sauce to be found. I believe there are probably better sushi places in all of nyc.

Asian Station is a go-to for lunch takeout around the office. It has a very reasonably priced lunch special and the sushi is good enough to make me a fan. Going around lunchtime, you can expect a little bit of a wait, comparable to other popular options in the area. Three roll combo(4⁄5): I typically get the shrimp tempura, snow crab & avocado, and spicy tuna. All are very good for«takeout sushi». One comment is that the seaweed here is a bit chewier than most other places. Comes with soup or salad. I say definitely get the wonton soup, which comes with three wontons and is actually quite delicious. — $ 13 — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — How food scoring works(very subjective, and relative to price) 1 — Given the price, no 3 — Worth, taste is on par with price 5 — An absolute steal, amazing taste and great value

I’m a frequent customer for lunch during the week, maybe 3 times a week. They’re located across the street from my office, so it’s very convenient, and they have a nice lunch menu. However I ordered take out with my coworkers today and it was a disaster. We ordered at 1:05pm and the food reached us at 2:19pm, remember we’re across the street. That’s not even the big deal because any restaurant can be really busy and take a long time to deliver, totally understandable. But the naruto roll that I ordered looked horrible, like it was thrown together by a toddler. Every piece fell apart and I was so frustrated that I threw it out. I called my coworkers to see how their food was and they were having the same trouble. Between the nine of us we spent almost $ 200 to fight with our food and ultimately toss it in the garbage. Terrible take out service today!

Sashimi appetizer 10 pieces for $ 10.95 is worth it but request no clam which was bland and didn’t taste as fresh as the fish. Skip the hot and sour soup which was neither of those but just tea thick tasting glue.

For lunch takeout, I would give this 4 out of 5 stars. This is my go-to lunch spot when I want a LOT of food at affordable prices. Although I cannot speak to the service, the quality of food here is pretty good. Their Bento boxes are HUGE and full of goodies: salads, soup, shumai, sushi, and a main order — for $ 11! If you’re hungry and you order one of these, you probably won’t be hungry for a few days after you indulge. If you decide to go for a Bento Box, go for the Beef Negimaki — it’s delicious.

* Take-out review only * Stopped by to grab food during my lunch break. Ordered a seafood udon noodle soup. Even though I had ordered during the rush hour, they had it ready within 10 – 15 minutes! For $ 12, it was a little pricey(they had a few clams, shrimp, scallops), but I don’t think it was worth the price. The noodles and broth itself was pretty good. I think $ 10 would have been more reasonable. If you’re in a rush and in the mood for Asian cuisine… it’s not a terrible option.

My coworkers and I ordered here for our Not-So-Christmas Office Party. I definitely want to come back to experience an entrée(hence the 4 stars), but this review is based on their lunch specials alone. You get SO. MUCH. FOOD. for such a reasonable price! I forget the menu title, but they also have sushi boxes for the lunch special as well. I had the eel cucumber roll & salmon avocado roll, both of which I inhaled. I will definitely be trying this place again soon!

Dirt, dirty, cheap Asian place. It’s good for lunch and surrounded by offices. Food is about average. But convenient, so I’ll be back anyway.

Food looks greasy and not fresh. It has a good location. I won’t go there for dinner but only if I work nearby I would go for work lunch. It’s Chinese food anyway.

Oh myyyy. this place is the same as Amaze(I also reviewed this place) with the same menu and food but everything was off. My friends got their bento box lunch and I got the Pad Thai lunch. My pad thai was REALLY bland and I had to put a lot of sriracha on it for it to be edible. My friends had it worse though because apparently the california roll was bad and the box wasn’t filling at all. They even started taking bits and pieces from my bland pad thai to make up for how bad their boxes were. I ended up liking my pad thai more because I felt so bad for them :( I later found out that someone else found a roach in their food here and I’m definitely NEVER coming back. The place didn’t feel clean to me and service was a little TOO fast for my comfort. I know that sounds weird but if your food comes out of the kitchen less than 5 minutes after ordering, there’s something weird going on.

Had lunch with a friend here today and did a double take when I walked in. The place looked like a bar from the front door. They walked us to the back where the tables were pretty crowed together but more causal. I got the general tsao chicken which was not bad, all white meat. It was the perfect amount of crispy. My friend got the pad thai which was normal. Hot and sound soup was good. Overall would come here again if I’m craving Chinese but otherwise will pass.

Damn you Asian Station, I wanted to give you a better rating but I just saw a few photos and reviews mentioning roaches! I don’t do roaches — I don’t think anyone does. Prior to this, I experienced nothing but good things. I order from here very often through seamless and they have the fastest delivery I’ve ever experienced. One time, I received my chicken pad thai within 10 minutes of submitting my order, that includes delivery time. I mean my office building is located 2 mins away but still! The lunch specials are nicely priced and they serve generous portions. The food is always tasty, freshly prepared and looks clean — but this roach talk has me hesitating to order from here again. :( I’ve gotten the rock’n shrimp, sesame white meat chicken, general tso’s chicken and the pad thai and all have been delicious. Please clean it up Asian Station!

I hate doing this but I need to update my review and give Asian Station one star. I really liked this place – great lunch specials, superb catering – but I witnessed a roach coming out of my colleague’s take-out sushi from there yesterday. I will need to take my business elsewhere.
