Just had lunch at the Empire State Building Sushiteria with a few friends, the food was delicious. The guys that had not been there before were in love with the iPad ordering system, it really is easier. Standing in crazy long lines and getting a service person who really doesn’t care about your lunch is hopefully going to be a thing of the past. It makes the experience work. Those sushi burritos are just too awesome. I could eat there every day, and I really may wind up doing that.

Love the order on a touchscreen style. This sushi joint is mostly to go. There is probably like make 5 – 6 seats available. Which is fine by me, I have to bring it back to work anyways. The prices for rolls are a bit on the expensive side, but understandable due to expensive rent. I got the salmon lover. Basically 8 pieces plus a couple of sashimi on the side for 12 bucks. Received my order very quickly. The salmon was very fresh, but rolls were a little bland and lacking. Generous amount of fish. I wish I ordered a bit more, as I was left still hungry after.

The quality of the food at Sushiteria has vastly improved, plus they offer gluten-free soy sauce which makes me happy since gluten decided it doesn’t like me. The food there is still rather over-priced but I go there anyway sometimes.

While I can believe I had to travel to New York for the best sushi I have ever had, I can’t believe it was in a food court! I ordered the equivalent of a Philly roll, not fancy, but the salmon was the freshest I have ever tasted and the size of the roll was very big. Will come back again and again.

I have been wanting to try out Sushi-teria for awhile now and on Tuesday, I finally got to do it! I was craving sushi so hardcore that day. First off, their ordering system is so cute and very efficient. I was able to choose my favorite sushi roll, the spicy tuna, with no hassle. The machines them asks for your name, email, and number so they can let you know when your meal is ready. Since it was like mid afternoon, no one was there, I had no wait. The woman who helped me was incredibly nice and very informative about the sushi. My meal was ready in about 5 minutes. While my sushi was very good, especially with the soy sauce and Wasabi, it was only 6 pieces and they were so small! I paid $ 7.00 so I wanted something a little bigger. It’s a shame too because it was so good. Also, they only give chopsticks to eat with which is fine if you know how to eat with chopsticks. However, if you’re like me and you do not and you’re too embarrassed to ask for some utensils… then you make a delightful Epic Fail YouTube video.

This place now became so cool, from ordering to paying has all come to a machine that allows you tons of flexibility to view food before ordering, avoiding unnecessary explanations which could take long. I got the east coast sushi combo, which contains spicy miso soup and eight small rolls, just about the right size for me. Very fast speed during lunch hours, will come back for sure. However I was a bit missing their original skewers…

I founded way too expensive for what you get, plus the quality it was a mediocre. You definitely can get more for your money and other near sushi places. I wouldn’t go back at all.

Was craving some sushi around 8pm and found sushi-teria thanks to my friends on Unilocal.I appreciate anywhere I can order online, though there was no estimated completion time, so I just kind of guessed when I should pick it up. I also wanted a roll with brown rice so I ordered the $ 0.99 brown rice option. They called me to ask if I wanted brown rice on the side and I explained I wanted my roll with brown rice. No big deal, but wish there was a better way to indicate that online. Now, to pick up my sushi. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the location! I walked by the Citi building about 5 times before calling. The gentleman told me «it’s in the building». Luckily I knew what he meant!(It’s on the bottom level of the Citi building). I had the red dragon which had crunchy spicy tuna inside topped with tuna and spicy mayo. I also had 4 pieces of salmon sashimi. Along with a bottled green tea my total was around $ 30. My roll and sashimi were both super delicious and decently portioned. If another sushi craving calls and I’m in the area, I’d go back!

I love this place so much! Their sushi is so fresh it tastes like it just came out of the ocean that morning. I used to work right around there so this was a weekly destination… sometimes twice a week. I’d get a specialty roll and add on a few more individual pieces. It got pricey, yes, but I would get cravings for Sushi-Teria and I cant think straight until I get my fix. I got a new job and moved across town but I still take a subway 15mins just for this place.

Expensive and mediocre quality. Consistency is also lacking and they have trouble keeping track of what ingredients should be included in a roll — my salmon avocado maki roll came without avocado, and with very little salmon. However, there was a lot of greasy crunchy bits inside, making the entire thing taste like oil.

Expensive lukewarm sushi… Strong fishy aftertaste and definitely not the kind of place you can find some piece of mind while having lunch as it is beyond noisy. I have eaten in dozens of Sushi spots all around NYC and I could barely get past 1 roll. Truly a huge disappointment and a loss of $$.

NOTODDLERFRIENDLY. After joining my friend, who lives across the street, for lunch I was greatly disappointed with this place. We purchased food from several restaurants and then afterwards my son was running around the perimeter not disturbing any of the other diners. But the garbage man did not like us running around and had security ask us to leave on the premise that it was«private property» and the«floor was hard so he could hurt himself». DONOTBRINGYOUKIDS if they like to move around, you will be asked to leave even if you purchased food. NEVERAGAINWILLWEGOBACK. The food from here was just okay, the miso soup was all broth with two pieces of tofu and seaweed and the gyoza was very small and the skin was dry.

Not a big fan of sushi but this place serve the freshest and most delicious sushi in town. Place is very clean & has great atmosphere. My favorite would be the spicy tuna & veggie galore.

This place orders are done via kiosks placed around the walls and stands. The place is designed to take out and dine in the citi atrium so its small. The place is clean and tastes better then any other eatery in the lower atrium location. The fish here is moderately fresh.

2.5 stars for overall value. It’s definitely pricier than the other sushi lunch special options you have in the neighborhood, but the fish is fresh and sushi well made and the sushi chefs hired seem to know what they’re doing. Kudos to their online menu/iPad ordering photos: what you see is really what you get. If you want to pay for variety, a cool option is that they charge ~$ 1-$ 1.50 per sushi piece which is about equal to their charge of $ 6 – 7 per roll. $ 15 incl tax for the Tuna Craver, which is ultimately just 1.5 rolls and 2 pieces of sashimi. Overpriced. Colleague spent nearly 25 dollars for 3 rolls, but only 6 pieces per roll. A roll should really have 7 – 8 pieces. I’d only return if it was on company dime and we wanted sushi takeout vs. sitdown, of which you have better options.

The Size of the sushi is really small. I got the combo for 15 $ and only fill about 30% of my starving tummy. You can buy this bad quality of sushi in normal deli stores. Now I have to go somewhere els to fill my sad stomach.

Meh. This place is overpriced and not that good. I LOOOVVVEEEE miso soup and their’s was so bland that I actually threw it out. Also the whole ordering from an ipad can get confusing especially if you’re an older customer who’s not that computer savy. I actually saw an older customer struggling on the ipad for 15 minutes trying to order their food. Just let ppl order the normal way!
