Stopped in for a quick late morning breakfast. The place is full and busy. Bit of a wait for coffee which was not all that good once it arrived. Breakfast arrives and over easy eggs are broken and yes they taste the same that way but typically they avoid serving them that way. Toast was supposed to be sourdough but is rye and somewhat burnt. No hash browns so fries instead that seemed old. Service friendly but not wowed with the food.

Late night in the city, went for a quick bite haven’t ate all day & we run into a diner. The lady that was the waitress had stood over my fiancé & I while we were just looking what to order. Kinda uncomfortable & awkward. The food was ready I had ordered Chicken Parmesan w/spaghetti, it was okay. The potato salad was not so good, no vegetables, not even eggs in it. The mayo tasted old, I had to put black pepper to give it a taste sadly. She had ordered bbq burger w/bacon. Too greasy & the onions were old, fries were okay, the whole burger tasted as if they had done it to quickly. The bread was actually good. Only thing that was good was the Pepsi I had drank. For desert we had ordered the chocolate volcano. We’re digging our way in it, we find strawberry lol. We gave up up on life… The chocolate was warming, to much whip cream.

Great breakfast place. Fast service and excellent food. The portions are large as everything in the US. Recommend the fresh orange juice, the bagels, pancakes and the baked goods. The chocolate muffin was really tasty. In peak breakfast time there is a bit of a wait, but well worth it

I dined here with six friends around 9:30 last night. I was pleasantly surprised by the adequate service & good food! I had fried fish* Tacos with cole slaw on top & they were EXCELLENT. *I don’t remember what type of fish it was, but I’m sure it was dead, & it tasted great!

The foods not bad but the waiter(Frankie) was top notch. He treated us like royalty. The service was better then I’ve had at the finest restaurants.

Food is average. Found a hair in my plate. Waiter hasn’t been around, I kind of wanted to tell her but now I’m just going to pay and leave. I couldn’t finish my meal because the hair grossed me out. I also just saw a man look for the same server to pay, he ended up just walking out after walking around the restaurant for a couple minutes. Very disappointing I was really hungry.

Quintessential NYC diner: Corner location, been here forever. Nothing fancy. Big menu, decent prices. $ 15.95 special gets you appetizer, main course and dessert.

This place is fantastic! Their menu offers a huge selection of breakfast options. They have everything from pastries and cereal to omelettes to Nutella French toast and Belgian waffles with sundaes on them. The place was pretty crowded, but they are really good at finding you a seat pretty quickly. The manager kept his staff moving quickly to ensure everyone was served as fast as possible. We were really impressed with how well it was managed. While the atmosphere is great and the menu looks amazing, the food unfortunately wasn’t that great. There wasn’t much flavor and nothing stood out.

Decided to stop in here on chance and give it a go. We shared nachos and a pizza. The pizza was great wood oven and fresh and authentic. Nachos were ok and did the job. They were not bad but not the best I’ve had either. Still the meal as a whole was enjoyable and the atmosphere fine. Our server was friendly and helpful.

When you get bored of goat cheese frittatas and quiche and start craving just two eggs with potatoes and toast, this is your kind of place. Spacious diner off Herald Square serving old school standards. Their beer and wine selection is straightforward like their menu. Sure, the food cart outside will sell you an egg sandwich for half the price, but will they give you a comfy seat and a Yuengling, and serenade you with Elton John’s greatest? My last server Sangita made a point to ask how I am, how the food was etc., but wasn’t too pushy or sugar-sweet. Thanks for that. I’ll be back for sure.

I’ve passed this place a gazillion times and never paid it any mind because I was usually rushing to get to my store, Macys which is right across the street. I was starving and I stopped in and sat to eat while I waited for my mom to meet me so we could shop. LOL This so called coffee shop was a big olé diner. I was shocked how big it was and it was crowded. I sat at the counter and ate and people watched. The place was packed with what appeared to be tourists. I ordered breakfast, eggs, home fries, bacon with toast and hot tea. The prices were reasonable and the food was good to me. Be prepared to wait if you’re a big party because the lines were long to sit at one of the tables. Its definitely a spot I would eat at again before or after I get my shopping done in the area.

Andrews still gets Five Stars. I went back yesterday for dinner with my daughter. Our server was very nice. There was some miscommunication. I had a card for a free piece of cake or pie with a dinner entrée. They have a combined dinner/lunch menu. I asked the server what I needed to order in order to have the free desert. He said I could have anything I wanted. I wanted to spend the same amount as if I had ordered an entrée, but have what I wanted to eat. Note: Burgers do not come with fries. I ordered a turkey burger on sourdough bread with mayo, and a side of sweet potato fries. My daughter had a caesar salad and can of coke. When the server went to put in for the free desert the manager said«no». I only had a turkey burger and my daughter also did not order enough for free desert. The server said the meal had to be at least $ 10.00. It didn’t say that on the card. He wanted me to save the card and come back. Well, if you knew me, you’d know that doesn’t cut it! I told him I ordered fries too. After that realization that my meal was over $ 10.00 it ended well. The manager approved the free desert. I wish communication was easier! I also have concerns about giving free food items if your prices are already the best in town! Maybe you should stop giving such generous gifts. I’d rather you stay in business and keep the prices the way they are! I want to commend them on being so accommodating with menu changes. I enjoyed my burger and fries. I will return to try other things on the menu. Some days I just want to have something plain and simple. My daughter had the huge salad. She was very happy with hers. She said she would return and bring friends. The place is so comfortable, clean and cheerful. A little more training of servers may be needed. Also, the personal attention of the manager on duty would have been nice. He should have come to the table and handled my problem. I saw he was doing double duty behind the counter. I get it. I don’t want to be difficult, just helpful. I enjoyed being there! Next time I’ll just pay for my cheesecake!

blaaahhh — this place was boring — go somewhere else It’s a pretty crappy diner — stick to diner food. I suggest only breakfast. My veggie omelette was good — came with French fries not home fries — and toast. Service was average.

We decided to put some more stuff in our mouths and to get out of the chilly weather before getting back on the train to Long Island. This shop caught our eyes and we gave it a shot. After checking in, we saw that it only had a 2 ½ star rating from the reviews. Our fingers and toes got crossed and it worked somehow. Our coffee and desserts were surprisingly delicious. I got the Belgian waffle sundae with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and my husband got the carrot cake. The service was quick and friendly. I’m not sure how the other food is here, but the desserts were sweet enough for us.

Food was just okay. I got a tuna melt which had just a touch too much mayo but was otherwise good, but their fries & rings were pretty bad. Decent coffee. Their bathroom was super gross. I enjoyed my experience only as a «tourist» b/c this place seemed very NY to me. Was in town just for an afternoon meeting and was hoping to have some good NY pizza but landed here in a pinch. I wouldn’t go back or necessarily recommend it!
