Alberta Ferretti

First I want to say that I saw this listing and went to the store, but to my dismay it is not the Alberta Ferretti store, but the Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti store. The sales girl told me that Philosophy is the diffusion collection to Alberta Ferretti, and that the main collection store is in Los Angeles.
Since I work in luxury retail myself I find it so refreshing to walk into a museum like store with out the attitude you might receive at other stores.
Needless to say the sales associate helped me find the perfect cocktail dress for a wedding, and she even put me on a sale contact list for future purchases.
Ever since that visit, they’ve always contacted me prior to sales and let me «pre-​sale items, before the sale goes public while my size was still available…
I’d say the personable staff keeps me coming back and they always seem to know what will work for my figure.
Price point is high, but worth every penny I have dresses I bought 3 yrs ago and still wear to this day. Philosophy’s designs are definitely classic feminine pieces I have in my wardrobe.
Go visit them!

This is one of the most beautiful stores in New York City. The clothing is top quality and of wonderful and unique design. Incredibly detailed and the colors are glorious. Not to mention an fantastic staff. The clothes are not inexpensive, however the sales are incredible. IT’s truly one of may favorites in NY.

I was on my way home (in my very boring interview outfit) until a lovely, lavender dress caught my eye. I was captivated by the frock’s light & airy fabric — So alluring, especially in contrast to the staid, pressed cotton I was wearing at the time.
I followed the call of the siren & walked into the elegantly modern space which could have easily doubled as an art gallery. The stifling heat & cloying humidity of the outdoors fell by the wayside. So too, the air & noise pollution of the city.

Suddenly, I was standing amidst beautiful clothes. Garments made for feminine women who enjoy clean lines & appreciate details. Subtle colors + fine design.
The bi-​level store provides the perfect backdrop for the merchandise.
This is their only retail location in the United States.
Service is terrific. Friendly without being overbearing. Plus, she gets points for noticing that my eyeshadow matched the dress — I wasn’t even wearing the item at the time!

In fact, judging by the website, she’s decided to go much bolder in color & cut for Autumn… Surprisingly, I prefer the much more feminine & subtle summer line that I saw.
