$1 The Best Pizza

It’s a dollar, alright. But far from the best pizza. I did a regular slice and a vegetable slice. When I asked for the veggie slice, I said «broccoli» because that was the major component to it. The guy behind the counter (who seemed new) asked me if I meant spinach, and I said no. Then I pointed to the one I wanted. Turns out the veggie slice was more expensive than the spinach one, and then that guy got yelled at by his boss for under-​charging me. But they didn’t ask for more money. So… I’m ambivalent. They really should have left the pizza in the oven for longer though. It’ll do in a pinch, but I’m not a fan.

Delicious pizza, good prices and friendly service. After a bad attempt at eating at a Pizza place nearby we opted to try $ 1 Pizza instead. We were very pleasantly pleased with our decision. We had slices of pepperoni and pineapple, BBQ chicken and buffalo chicken pizza. All of them were great. The pepperoni and pineapple was my favorite. I rarely find that combo and it’s my absolute favorite.
There was a good amount of traffic coming and going and no one had to wait long. Good option if you want a quick slice. They have a deal where you get two slices of cheese and a can soda or water for $ 2.95. Can’t beat that!

I mean common! A 1 $ pizza!!! With such a quality it is a real bargen.
It’s as good as any other newyork style pizza in the area (speaking about the lower end prices). And it’s very quick and efficient if you are in a hurry.

It has been almost a year now, 11pm at night here in California, and All í can think of is When will be the next time, and eat this sobreseimiento pizza again!

For the price this is a 5 star place. Good, cheaper alternative to going to a place like Joe’s pizza. It’s close by to me so I have enjoy coming here several times a week for a slice on the way home.

Great little pizza place. We ordered a couple of plain slices, pepperoni slices and Sicilian slice. All were good. Very reasonably priced too. Worth the visit.

Best $ 1 pizza in Chelsea!!! Don’t be fooled by the price! It may be better than most $ 2.50 slices in the area! Open late, but there’s little to no seating, be prepared to take it to go.

Cheap and still delicious! Within about 5 seconds I had 2 hot slices of cheese pizza and grabbed my soda from the fridge. $ 2.75 for the slices and the can. Can’t beat it!

Picked up a few slices one night with my husband and we were thoroughly impressed with how good they were. Both of mine were broccoli and it was COVERED in it, not just a few pieces. 4 slices and 2 drinks for only $ 8? That is incredible AND it tasted great. Will go back many times!
Just be wary that there is not much seating inside.

Get that hot, steamy pizza from the oven in seconds! Quick and easy meal that’s priceless!!!

Súper simple y barato. La porción solo cuesta $ 1 y es grande y te la sirven como recién sacada del horno. No busques lujos; solo andá comprá y comé. Súper recomendable y casi obligado si te tomas la línea 1 de subte que está justo en la puerta.

O-​M-​F-​G! Literally the best pizza everrrr! I don’t care what time of day i come. Drunk or not, this place is excellent at allll times! Everybody i come with falls un love with this place! Did we just find the Holy Grail of NYC pizza? I’m not 100% sure, but I am 100% sure that I still found their slices quite delicious… Especially for a price you can’t beat. May be a small spot, but they have a pretty wide variety of pizza. I ordered a spinach, while my friend ordered a chicken. Unfortunately, they didn’t fall under the $ 1 slices, which was kind of misleading, but they were still delightful. They may not exactly be the BEST pizza in Chelsea, or NYC, but I’d definitely come back again.

This place is the best I’ve had in NY so far. Had 1 slice of pepperoni and went back for a second slice. I even ate the crust!

I got 2 slices of cheese. The others with me did as well. Mine were lukewarm. Theirs were hot. I did not find mine to be that good regardless of the price.. Won’t be coming back.

Truly is the best $ 1 pizza so far! We came here on a late night to get a bite to eat and OMG, them slices were off the chainz!!! We made it a point to come back for another bite before we left NYC. Even my 3 yr old daughter screamed that «it was my» … LOL. Overall, very good flavor, very soft crust, and the perfect blend of cheese and sauce. I will be returning on our next trip to NYC. This is a must try pizzeria!

I’m not sure if this is the best $ 1 slice in the city but it’s pretty damn good. I had my 2 slices within a minute of walking in and they were hot and crispy. Usually I have to ask for them well done or they’re lukewarm but that wasn’t an issue here. There’s a decent amount of seating to scarf down your slice and its a great spot for a quick cheap lunch.

Ok so the sign says «the best $ 1 pizza»… just like every other $ 1 pizza spot in the city. wasn’t expecting much to be honest… but this pizza is SO damn good!!! so good that I had to write a Unilocal review to tell everyone ;)
Place was busy, pizza was fresh out of the oven… I took mine to go since all the seating was taken. I ate 2 slices and almost went to get a 3^rd before I remembered this diet I’m supposed to be on.
Truly the BEST $ 1 pizza slice I’ve ever had.
