Great little shop nestled in downtown Northville. Very cute selection of baby clothes– a definite go to for new baby gifts! She stocks a big selection of hair accessories and hats for baby girls too!

A tiny shop snug on Northville’s main street, Moon and Me offers charming infant and toddler wear from brands like Bunnies on the Bay. The space is much longer than wide, so strollers are best left on the sidewalk to have room to manœuvre.
The stock is not extensive due to the limitations on space, but presented charmingly all the same with boys’ clothing and accessories on one wall and girls’ on the opposite side. Clothes are arranged into definite themes, such as pink lambs or green frogs and birds. In addition to onesies and small outfits, Moon and Me carries shoes, a limited selection of outerwear, books, purses, and other accessories for children. In particular, the soft and fuzzy items beg to be touched. I adored a newborn cape with a rabbit-​ear hood and a tiny stuffed carrot in the pocket, but since I don’t know whether my baby will be a boy or a girl, that’s one gift that needs to wait.
Come in looking for good gift ideas and you shouldn’t be disappointed. Specialty items are common in brands not typically found in regular stores, so it’s possible to find an American-​made product that stands out for quality and appearance. Staff is happy to offer suggestions and advice as needed, otherwise allowing customers to browse as their fancy takes them. All purchases are wrapped up nicely with gift receipts upon request.
The price point for main items is rather high and I regret to say I found my beloved cape for much less of a markup elsewhere (though it’s on the ‘would be nice’ list). The clothes, however, are terribly sweet in their appearance. It’s worth a look for a special present or something out of the ordinary, but if you’re watching your pennies as a parent, come forearmed and forewarned.
