A little pricey for me but food tastes really good. $ 11.00 for a large. I always order the hawaiian bbq and my wife gets the hawaiian beef. Comes with a macaroni salad and rice. I’ll be more comfortable paying $ 8 or $ 9 for them. But it is what it is. I’ll still go there because of the quality of the food just not as often as i want to. Pretty good size menu so you have a variety of options.

Good: their chicken katsu is the best! I recommend just getting their chicken katsu. Bad: their tocino is just«red» meat. I can make better tocino homemade…

Pretty straight forward and never disappointed with the loco moco and spam musubi. But don’t try the ramen burger it is just not worth it. In theory it sounds good but trust me, it doesn’t. Stick with their original menu, anything beyond that tends to go downhill.

I love L&L but this particular franchise created a terrible reputation for all other locations. Is it because I’m spoiled from all the other locations with great prices, great portions, and great quality? This is what one should normally expect. If these are factors you look for when dining at a restaurant, avoid coming here. Everything is extremely taxed, especially for food that tastes like rubber. Kalbi is extremely tough, such a shame to my Korean culture. Katsu is bland, as well as everything else, and must be dipped in sauce for it to taste mediocre at best. Even the eggs tasted like nothing, no pepper or salt, no effort. How do you mess up eggs!!! I’m so sad

Please stop calling them malasadas… what you sell is weird sugar coated mini rolls with an odd aftertaste. Such a disappointment.

I came here a few times and the food is good. I will admit that the sauce here is a little salty for my tastes but maybe some people like it like that. I’ve had their spam musubi, chicken katsu musubi, Seafood combo, and macaroni salad. The short rib was tender and the butterfly shrimp was crispy and nice. Everything was decently priced and they give you a lot of food for what you pay for. They also have catering available if you’re throwing a big party. Next time when I come by I might try the ramen burger. I hear it’s pretty good here.

ATKINSPLATE! SPAMMUSUBI! They give you a good amount or portion when you purchase their food items. It is quite pricey which is why I don’t stop by here more often than not. However, you cannot go wrong with the ATKINS Plate. You get a mixture of everything. I find it very easy to feel bland of the meat because there is mucho. In the beef plate, they will include the macaroni salad. I do recommend getting this to balance the flavors. It isn’t as bad as it sounds. I prefer it more than their rice or salad. Overall, I go here when I am feeling like eating plenty but not as much as an AYCE. It is a self service place. So please! take care of your plate.

I had my lunch at lnl today, i ordered chicken katsu. It was so good. My first impression once I came in the restaurant it was clean and the cashier was very affable. I’d like to come again and try something new.

I went today and the older lady was soo cranky. I asked if she how much the canned drinks were and she just said they are right there and I apologized but there was no price tag on the menu or fridge. She didn’t even care and the iced brewed tea tastes sooo bad like they don’t clean the container out . The daughter or younger girl was polite but the mother was super cranky. After I ate here my stomach hurt really bad. The Mac said tasted funky. I think they need to clean up the place too .the floors were filthy… I’m afraid to see what’s crawling in the kitchen…

If you want good Hawaiian BBQ this is the place to go. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Staff are nice and friendly. A nice variety on the menu from BBQ, cutlets, curry, saimin and of course Spam. My favorite is the Kalua Pork. I like mine with cabbage but they don’t offer it. The macaroni salad is the best. For dessert you have to get the haupia(coconut pudding).

I wasn’t really that happy when we came here because the cashier made it seem like I didn’t know what I was ordering, like hello I’m an island girl. Anyways their short ribs was over marinated and it didn’t taste fresh at all. The short ribs tasted like it was ice burn. The cashier should be a little be more lively.

This L & L sucked so bad! Their sauces tasted off. They were just salty I was trying to get my sweet Bbq chicken on and all I got was SALTONTOPOFSALTONTOPOFSALT. Dodge this one!

Definitely one of my favorite places. The cashier is very friendly and the workers in the back are very efficient. The longest it took for my food to come out was probably 8 minutes tops. Everyone who lives in the valley has at least been here once and probably have thoughts of going again. Great place and I highly recommend.

This place is terrible. Customer service is bad. I had given them my credit card and also trying to offer them to see my driver’s license and the cashier said oh we never look at that. Can you image someone else could of use my card since they don’t check. The macaroni salad was spoiled and the meat & chicken was overcook and very dry and when I called and made a complained the owner said they are not spoiled. I hope they get closed down with that kind of attitude. I will never return here again.

I’m so disappointed in the service at this place. If I could rate it with zero stars I would. I told myself a long time ago that I wouldn’t leave any more bad Unilocal reviews because I know a lot of people rely on Unilocal and bad reviews can hurt a business. In this case, I really can’t sit back and not share my experience with anyone who is reading this. I ordered some food to go and when I got home, the Mac salad in all the orders was spoiled. My family and I had already eaten some of the meat, but we couldn’t finish our meal as the Mac salad was touching the rice and some of the meat as well. When I called to complain, I was asked for my number for the manager(Alden) to call me back. When the manager called me back, I asked him for a refund(less than $ 40) and he said disagreed and said that the Mac salad wasn’t spoiled so no refund would be given. He said that he had 50 customers before me and no one complained. That doesn’t mean that it wasn’t spoiled, nor that anyone won’t get sick. I just pray no one, including my family, gets food poisoning from their food. Their Mac salad is one of their food staples and served with all the main dishes on their menu. You would think they would take this more seriously. The manager insinuated that the Mac salad could have gotten bad on the way home, but I live less than ½ a mile away. Even in the dead of heat that this valley brings, there is no way the food would spoil in a few minutes drive home. The lack of customer service these days is unbelievable. I can’t imagine that $ 40 is worth your customers getting sick over. I would hope the customer and their health comes first, but that is not the case with this place. I will NEVER return to this location, and I will make sure that everyone I know doesn’t as well. * I just read another Unilocal review with someone having the same issue.

Costomer service was great. :) food quality was outstanding. Friendly and polite people who work here. Only thing bad that I could point out was that their credit card server was down soo they were only accepting cash. Which wasn’t an issue soo i joked with the guy and said soo do I get a discount and he’s all yeah, I’ll get give you a give you a free drink! All in all great service. Would come back again

I’ve been going to this spot for quite a while now, I think about 10 years. The place is very clean and for the most part they have friendly service. The food is good and they offer a great variety of options. The dish that I usually go for is the combination BBQ chicken and the beef, which comes with a side order of some delicious macaroni salad and rice. The portions a good for the prices. Make sure to go with a good appetite if you get the combination plate.

Well, if you can’t be on Hawaii to get dinner, this is a usable alternative. We usually get the chicken katsu, and the beef short ribs. These two have proven to be the best choices for us. We have also tried the beef and chicken bbq. Prices are reasonable, and portions are pretty large. The katsu seems to have the best combination of a fried dish with light breading. We have also tried the seafood combo, but the fish portion was not done as well as the rest. We haven’t tried that in quite some time, however. So overall, we enjoy dining from here about twice a month, in fact tonight’s dinner was from there.

Man I really hate to say anything bad about this place because I really love their food. This L&L has been here foreeeeeever, I wanna say since I was a young kid in my teens(I’m now in my late 20s) and the quality has always remained the same. My 3 stars is due to the price hike over the years. I really feel like this place got too expensive for what it is. The minis are now $ 7+ with tax and in my opinion I feel like it’s a ripoff. I wanna say those mini’s used to be $ 5.99 + tax which sounds more accurate. I feel like this place needs a makeover. It’s looked the SAME throughout these 10+ years. Lighting is so dim, tables aren’t always wiped down I feel b/c sometimes they’re sticky. Food never disappoints but the price you pay for the amount of food you get kinda hurts.

My go to spot for Hawaiian food… I have been coming here for 5 years. Most of my family lives in Hawaii so it makes me miss it there :( I always get the chicken katsu, whether it be the mini or regular size, or just the cutlets itself without the mac salad or rice. I also like their saimen(which I get with Katsu) and their french fries. Their katsu and fries are freshly made, which is the best! Super hot and crispy. I’ve also tried their ramen burger… not a fan, didn’t like the sauce they put in it and it was hard to eat. It was pretty much just like eating pasta sauteed with a burger. The one thing that I never get is that I have a small stomach ache after I eat here. Because it’s so cheap, they have to cut costs somewhere and I think they may use less quality oil. My parent sometimes have that problem too, but it usually happens to me for some reason! Although it does give me tummy aches, I still eat it –_– It’s really good and the portion sizes are excellent!
