Domino’s Pizza

Screwed up my pizza and made me wait without good reason. One is ready and getting cold while another needs to be made. Dumb.

Not a fan of online, fast as others note but promotions /​lowest cost options are hard to understand (hard to compare prices) and if you order NO cheese it still shows cheese on the image — try it, better than you think and far fewer calories!)
Our orders have always been correct, pizzas well made (ingredients spread evenly), sauce has a nice spicy flavor. Better pizza than I think people give it credit for.
Definitely a well run store — would give it higher ratings except for online experience.

Mmmmm. I love Dominos, especially their garlic crust. The online ordering process was very well organized. You could also track your order. Although, the delivery took way too long, 50 minutes. Still great pizza.

We order from this store frequently. Not on a par with Malnati’s of course, but very tasty and economical. They always get the order correct and on time (I always pick up). And their hot sandwiches are even better than the pizza.

I’m giving a 5 Star review for my recent order online.
I must say, they have got the online thing down!
It took me literally 10 secs to log in and redo my order from last time.
The CC info was there etc.
Main fear of ordering online? Did they get the order, how long will it take etc. They have a little pizza tracker which shows they got the order, the guy put it in the oven, all the way to delivery.
This is pizza in the 21^st century! Dominos is fast food, but pretty decent since they upgraded their company a few years back.
Props for the online experience, above and beyond!

Ok, I understand, this is Domino’s. I’m not expecting great culinary prowess… but I’d appreciate it if you could at least get my order right. The guy that took my order was polite. However, when they showed up, it was the wrong order. I wouldn’t be so irritated but this isn’t the first time this has happened. C’mon domino’s. Get your act together.

IMHO, anything from Domino’s is complete garbage. Pizza’s are undercooked to allow for quick delivery. Domino’s has very nasty products. The bottled soft drinks always taste like they have been rolling around in the hot trunk of a car for weeks. I like to believe that very few people actually like this kind of food. Domino’s sacrifices everything for one thing — speed. It’s my opinion that the owner /​or manager is the biggest jerk there is. He really gives off an attitude like there is something special about him because he works at a Domino’s. Using coupons from Domino’s website? good luck. Wrong order? cold food? too bad. I’ve had a few problems with this place and when I brought them to the owner /​managers attention I couldn’t believe the way I was treated. The times I’ve ordered from here resulted in me being in a bad mood. Put simply, this place sucks all around. You are better off going hungry or going to a nearby gas station for potato chips and candy bars.

The worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I called in my order and asked for it to be delivered. Half hour later, I got a call and was told that Domino’s doesn’t deliver to where I live. Mind you, I live exactly 4.9 mi away from this Domino’s location (which is also in Northbrook!!)… Sure I could’ve gone and picked it up myself, but why did they have to wait half hour to communicate this? Since they have delivered to me once before, I’m guessing they’ve now got themselves some lazy employees. When I asked to speak to a manager, she backed up her unprofessional staff. Great job managing this place, Angelica!

Paula the mngr was very helpful in taking our order the way we wished it to be. The pizza was a pleasant surprise as well. NOT the Domino’s I remember, MUCH better.

What does skazoo’s review have anything to do with domino’s food? Oh well, I like their pizza, anyways it’s good with jalapeños.

Yes, I’ve ordered from this Domino’s… and, yes, I hate myself for it.
The pizza has a generic appeal but the reason I hate myself is Domino’s support of conservative causes — in particular anti-​choice and intelligent design.
I realize that Tom Monaghan (Domino’s founder and a conservative political activist) no longer has a controlling interest in the company, but he still profits handsomely as a result of Domino’s continued success.
In the past, I compromised and ordered Domino’s to please some out-​of-​town company, but I won’t do it again.
