Pampered Paws Grooming & Boarding

We attempted to board our dogs at Pampered Paws while passing through town on our way to Salt Lake City. When we made the appointment a few days prior to arrival, the receptionist asked what time we’d arrive. We stated that we would arrive at 2:30 pm, and subsequently did so (though, I don’t know why arrival time would need to be exact given that the business is «supposed» to be open from 9am to 6pm on Fridays). When we arrived (on time), the doors to the business were locked and there were no signs of any workers. We waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes and called the owner’s number several times. The few times we thought we got through to the owner, the calls mysteriously dropped. Because we could not wait any longer in 100+degree heat, we gave up and inconvenienced my brother in law to let us stay the night with two extra large dogs. Completely unprofessional business, especially considering we never received an apology. We will absolutely not do business with this company and have warned local friends and family about the company.

I thought something was up when I didn’t have to verify my dog’s vaccinations before the groomer booked an appointment for them, but thought maybe they would verify on the day of the appointment.
They didn’t.
The groomer was unlicensed and «self-​taught», she was cruel to my dogs to the point my female submissive peed. She cut my other female’s nails too short and I stopped her from working on her. She then crushed one of my male’s nails and got rude with me because he cried out in pain, demanding I «control» my dogs. The young woman she was «training» was sweet and tried to comfort my dogs, the older woman just snapped at them and me.
We normally go to one of the big chain stores and will be going back there from now on. I can not warn you against this place strongly enough.

Horrible place, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Went IN PERSON to make an appointment and when I showed up to it all I got was the snotty lady at the register tell me «we’re all booked» even after we had an appointment. She didn’t even try to fit us in for the same day or anything. Horrible customer service definitely not going back there again, on top all the dogs in the back were barking in agony as if they were being mistreated. If you take you’re dog here I would definitely look into what goes on in the back. I saw some pictures of another customer having their dog cut at this place. If I could I would give this place 0 stars horrible place don’t recommend it to any pet owners.

This is the second time I bring my Bichon/​poodle mix here, the staff is friendly clean place and she’s happy to be there. I would give it a five if they would stop shaving my dog. I always get a call talking about her having knots and there’s nothing they can do but to shave her… I’ll seriously rather pay the 3 dollars extra at pets mart than having my poor dog shaved. I’ve never had any issues at pets mart even when her fur is long.

My dogs were very happy. They allow the dogs to walk around and socialize with the other dogs. They also offer a $ 5.00 off coupon.

My dog left this place after his haircut appointment with a 3 inch gash on his neck area, right below his throat. The groomer super-​glued his skin together over top of the laceration in hopes that I wouldn’t notice and put a bandanna around his neck. I was never called nor informed of his injury, instead they covered it up and never mentioned it to me, so I didn’t notice it until the day after his appointment when I took off his bandanna. The manager cooperated and refunded my money and paid for the $ 300 vet bill, but I have yet to hear from the business OWNER. She was also there the day my dog was injured, and never once mentioned to me what had happened when I picked him up. I had to sit in the veterinarian office and listen to my poor dog cry while they tried to pull apart the super glue. They couldn’t get it apart so they sedated him and got it apart and stitched up the extremely deep gash. Absolutely NEVER will I ever go back into this poorly run DISHONEST business! I agree with a previous review, if you love your dog, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE!

Always happy to support family businesses, so when I saw this place across the street from me, I figured I’d give it a shot.
For starters, the price to groom my dog was $ 15 cheaper than where I have always gone for the same deluxe package.
Also, the staff seemed nice and friendly. We discussed what type of cut I’d like my dog to have in detail, and it turned out exactly how we discussed.
The place was clean, and my dog seemed very happy with his experience. I plan to return, and may even take him for a daycare session in the meantime.

Took my dog here for boarding staff was very friendly they even dropped my Dog off at my house. When I got home my dog was nice and clean they have great prices even though it’s on the other side of town I will definitely be coming back even if it’s just for a bath

Sophia… No you did not cut his nails and when I picked him up he smelled like wet dog and his cut was terrible my husband even made a comment on how bad me smelled and looked and he never comment nor pays much attention to my dogs but he did that day. Plus you cut his beard way to short I should have brought him back to you after I picked him up from the other groomers so you can see what he’s suppose to smell and look like but I didn’t. And it concerns me that you thought that was a good good because it was really bad I would never bring my little guy back I’m not trying to be mean I’m just telling you the truth I thought you knew what you were doing that’s why I trusted you. I am judging but I have every right I tried your service and was not satisfied. I’m sorry !

Pampered Paws offers the BEST grooming service. The whole staff is wonderful! They are very friendly and thw prices are fair compared to other prices. They have provided excellent service since my first appointment and continue Anyway, Pampered Paws is awesome!!!

Such a wonderful place for my dog boarding and grooming. People working there seems really patient and loving! Definitely come back again next time we go to vegas
