In town for a conference and stayed at an apartment near here. This was highly ranked on Unilocal so I stopped in. The rankings were correct! Service was friendly. The food was plentiful and inexpensive. All this is rare when you consider how great it all tasted. The outstanding part came when I accidentally knocked over my freshly squeezed orange juice and they cleaned it up without making me feel like a clumsy idiot. And then they without a word brought me a fresh glass of orange. Will come by again before I leave town!

I stopped in there during my morning walk. To my surprise they had beef empanadas. I ordered one with sauce . Walked outside and ate it while waiting for the light to change. I changed my mind before I crossed the street to get a few for my friends. The counter lady asked me what happened. I smiled and told her it was really good. I bought three more in two separate bags so I can have my second one before reaching the corner light. Lol I gave them out to friends and they liked it. My daughter wanted to try it as well so I took her. She bought three as well. Guess what she gave me one, I was so happy. The reason for the low rating, place needs an update.

This restaurant has the worst Colombian food I’ve ever eaten. went there tonight with my kids, my daughter ordered the Bandeja paisa. the chicharon was literally a piece of lard with two pieces of meat on it. my soup had 2 pieces of meat in it with a piece of corn &broth.not to mention the old rice that comes with the dish. .I would not recommend this place to anyone. .keep ur $

I really like this local restaurant. I live right around the corner and it is my go to spot when I do not know what to get or where to go! I have three staple items, the carne asada, the Churrasco, or the Pan con bistec sandwich. The food has always been tasty and ready in just 10 minutes! If you are in North Bay Village and want a quick, tasty, and inexpensive place to grab a bite this is your spot.

Went for breakfast a couple of times when we were in Miami. Great value and really friendly service. Good Latin/Columbian/Cuban food. A little slow with service but everything was good so no complaints. Café con leche was great as was the Cuban coffee. Cuban toast with butter hit the spot. Also had the chorizo spicy sausage which was delicious. The bacon, eggs and fries for breakfast also hit the spot. Prices are extremely reasonable. $ 12 for two breakfasts and two coffees.

It was good, but not really a standout. Family run business and they were friendly.

I love across the street and hadn’t tried this place for some reason. But after a long day I decided to try it out for delivery. So happy I did! It’s very reasonably priced and delicious. For $ 18 to Bandeja paisa lasted for 2 days. The chicharrones, the chorizo so good. Surprisingly the chicken was very moist and flavorful.

I live down the road from this place and I go here often. Everyone is always so friendly and the food is outstanding! I always get fresh juice wen I go, the soursop is incredible. The food portions are insanely large and lunch the next day is very worth the extra ordering of a side dish. I HIGHLY recommend this place, I love it :)

Stopped in while passing by on vacation. Excellent food, authentic fresh taste, great service. Could have gone to more established eateries closer to the beach but stopped by here and was not disappointed.

Have to say I have only done takeout so I can’t comment on service. But each time it’s been great. Right now I am just getting over bronchitis and had no cans of chicken noodle soup left. So I got dressed and walked across the road to Sabor. Lucky me, the special of the day was Ajiaco chicken soup. I got that and it came with a salad and white rice — $ 8. Huge container of soup, no bones, shredded chicken, some kind of greens, probably chopped spinach, whole but tiny potatoes and a small piece of corn on the cob. It was outstanding and I feel much better for it. I just gave it three stars then I got to thinking how much better it made me feel, so I sneaked that fourth star in because it tasted so home made and so good. The other dishes I’ve had there in the past were great, too, but I need to go back and be critical, I just enjoyed them before, so I will update :)

If you live in the area(or not) and haven’t already done so, you must must must give this small find a try. Their breakfast specials are amazing! Think: 3 dollars = eggs your way, cuban toast, and café con leche. Yum! They also have fresh squeezed OJ that I’m currently addicted to. And fresh squeezed actually means FRESH, as they squeeze the oranges right in front of you. A glass of this citrus heaven and breakfast in the morning will only set you back 6 dollars!
