Grandview Cafe

This is the best breakfast and empanada place in all of Miami! The beef empanadas are the greatest I’ve ever had anywhere. The café con leche is also outstanding! So inexpensive you won’t believe it. I eat here daily!!! Love the place and the staff… great people.

This is an amazing place to have breakfast-​lunch, great service and fair quality for the price. Cuban food is awesome!

Hidden Gem of North Bay Village. If I did not work in the Grandview Palace, I would have never knew this place existed… and I live only a block away. Its weird b/​c when you google Grandview Café — nothing comes up. But when you google their phone number — there’s 2 other names that show up.
Anyway, this place seems to already do well but I thought others should know about it! The breakfast I get on the regular is called the single style. Its 2 eggs, ham, bacon or sausage, a piece of baguette with butter and a medium café con leche. All that will set you back a whopping $ 4.28. Simple and delicious. Today I had the bistec a caballo (2 eggs, steak and fries) for $ 8.03 after taxes. Tons of food. I didnt even finish the fries. Nice size steak. Eggs are a no brainer. Fried and yolky is my fav. They also have fresh OJ.
Their chicken sandwiches are pretty good. They have a lunch special everyday for around $ 7. I have had the ropa vieja which was great as well. It doesnt look like alot of food when you get it, but by the end you realize your eyes were bigger than your stomach.
OH! Cant forget to mention the homemade empanadas (chicken or beef, ham and cheese and I think they also have a spinach one). Pastelitos too. Guava or guava/​cheese or just cheese. And alfajores. YUM.
Ok, I could keep going. I never thought to take pictures of the food. The next few times I will so I can post some. I usually get it to go though, so it will probably be in a to go box. Not the most appealing when you take things to-​go but you’ll get the idea.
