Four stars for the food — this is probably the best Panda I have eaten at. And I keep eating here because there isn’t a whole lot of affordable places to eat at Fashion Island. Seriously, what the hell Irvine Company you could have left freakin Red Robin that place was always packed! Negative four stars for the service. The staff for the most part is rude is in a totally rush and seems like they don’t want to be there. It is a fast food restaurant so I really can’t blame them Negative 1BAJILLION stars for the rude and completely clueless customers that have no sense of personal space that frequent this location.

What’s with the terrible ratings? By far the friendliest staff I have encountered at a fast food place in a while. It’s your average food court Panda Express, but what gives them the rating is the fact that the staff was extremely friendly.

I don’t know why I attempted to try this Panda Express. The staff seemed annoyed and unfriendly, but it’s a fast food, so I didn’t care too much about the service. The food was disgusting. Walnut shrimp was chewy, the chow mein was undercooked, and the broccoli beef was simply bland. No seasoning at all. Fashion Island should just replace this Panda Express with Sam Woo.

I always eat here and its good but today the servers and the staff were so mean and they have always been a little on the edge which is demeaning and insulting for clients. Stone oven and Hana Grill are much better at this location with quality and customer service!!!

The girl wouldn’t give me my food because I only had $ 2.03 and what I wanted costed $ 2.05 so I was only two pennies off.

After reading the reviews, I was curious to check out the WORSTPANDAEXPRESSEVAR. It’s a franchise. They literally get the same food from all other franchises, have the same recipes cooked in the same woks. Whats the deal? Indifference galore is the deal. Heck, I couldn’t even try the food because the staff hadn’t shown up yet! …and the manager wasn’t stressed or trying to call anyone or preparing small free goodies like egg rolls or orange chicken as a consolation for the people waiting for some Panda. She was just standing there, cheerlessly waiting for someone else to come in and do their job. Because when life throws you lemons, the proper thing to do is to wait until somebody else picks them off of the ground and apologizes to you for making things worse. A woman came up and asked the manager what time Panda was supposed to open, and she answered, «We’re not open right now.» WTH? That’s not an answer to the question. «Probably not for another 30 minute» or «Hopefully in about an hour, sorry, they’re late» or «Maybe not today, sorry. We’re having some problems. Tomorrow definitely.» would all be appropriate responses. I’m a big time lover or Panda Express. It’s really disappointing to see a franchisee treat it with such disregard… as if the name alone would automatically bring it business. 1 star until they get new management.

The worst Panda Express I’ve ever had. You’d think it would be better than other ones for where it’s located but nope! Pros: + I like Panda Express and was happy it was located in Fashion Island Cons: — Service was slow — Chow mein was SUPER dry — Orange chicken isn’t good, it was hard and lacking that orange chicken flavor Not coming here next time I’m at Fashion Island. My cravings were not satisfied.

After standing in line for like ten minutes, the woman who worked there completely and totally ignored me and helped the family standing in line behind me. There was only myself and this family at that point and they had just walked up whole I had been waiting so it was deliberately I walked away and spent my ten dollars at a different place. the last time I went to a panda express they were also rude(guy basically shouting at me what my order was instead of letting me pick) so I think I’ll just skip ever eating their food again, it’s not good for you or quality and I don’t need my day ruined by being snubbed just to get an over priced bowl of what’s probably cat anyway.

Okay I don’t like giving bad reviews but this place was something else. I ordered the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken — the orange chicken was hard, like old or left over from the day before — the teriyaki chicken was bland with the little bit of sauce they give you to add later. Best of all I asked for salt and pepper to take back to my hotel and they said«We don’t have any salt & pepper!» Really??? Substandard food, terrible service. Won’t be back.

Located in the Fashion Island food court(yea, even Fashion Island has a food court) this location is often overlooked or forgotten in the corner. Like other Panda Express locations, the food is decent and so are the serving sizes. The staff is friendly. Come early(before 11 a.m.) if you want to avoid the lunch rush from all the office buildings.
