Love, love, love this place !! I have been going here for over 20 years. I never thought I would be taking my 14 year old daughter one day. I had moved from the area however when in town this is one of the sweetest restaurants in the SCV !! We went here the other day and where greeted with a smile and welcomed. The waiter seated us right away and asked us if we had been there before. I told him my daughter has not been here in a while. He took us over to where everything was and very politely told us how to fill our bowl with meat first and that there are all sorts of fresh topping and recipes for sauces to put on before you give it to the «grill master».The guy who grills has been the for 20 plus years and is always so polite. I give him a tip because he deserves it. My food was spicy so he grilled it and cleaned the grill as to not make my daughters hot too. They serve you hot pockets and steamed rice automatically. Who doesn’t love to stuff a hot pocket then pour plum or sweet and sour sauce on it before you eat it. This place has such a positive vibe and is filled with polite and happy locals who go here for lunch. The veggie bar are fresh. I recall cabbage, carrots, onions, bock choy, bean sprouts, chestnuts, pineapple .bell pepper. I like to add curry to my sauce and blackbeans. If you are a vegan or vegetarian this would be a wonderful option because the awesome grill guy will first clean the grill for you. The restaurants is also very clean. I wish Genghis Khan continued success as they so deserve. Thank you for you kind hospitality!

First time here and had lunch. This place is a must try if you haven’t been. The food is tasty and they have a great selection of what you want on your dish from protein to veggies to dessert!!!
Jose inside that cooking area I call it is super nice and he would tell you what sauce to put that best serves your dish!
Will definitely come back!!! It’s worth the price… all you can eat. Can’t go wrong.

Best Mongolian Food in the valley. I have been going here since 2008 and they are well over due for a review. I have never been disappointed when I come here. Food is always delicious and fresh and the wait staff is quick and kind to refills and your dining needs. The best part is the Mongolian grill aspect there is a huge variety of meats and they have tofu for all the vegetarians. The selections of veggies and sauces are plenty as well. This is a must stop place when I’m in town.

Been eating there since 1980 and its been exactly the same since 1980. Go there. Man, I’m jonsing for some now.

This place is soooo good. I love it and have been coming here for years! They have a punch card that’s totally worth it, you get a free meal after 11 purchases I believe. I go way too much l… but I can’t keep away! Highly recommend!

Our family went for the first time today because my son is having some sort of growth spurt and is craving meat! He loved this place. Buffet style: Grab a bowl, add in your meat (turkey, chicken, pork, beef, or tofu), add noodles if you want, add your veggies, add your sauces and toppings, and give it to the guy who grills it on the big round grill. They also have soups, a salad bar, and desserts (jello, fruit, cookies) at the buffet. They automatically bring you a basket of bread and a bowl of rice to share. Fortune cookies at the end. Coke products, juices, wine, beer, and teas to drink.
Great to go somewhere where everybody can get what they want, and everybody gets their fill! Very nice staff, too. We will be back!

This place is so freaking good! The value and quality is worth it. The staff is very warm and friendly. They make you feel like family when you come in. I really like coming here. They have such a great selection of meats: beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and shrimp for dinner. They have a large variety of sauces with helpful recipes so you know how much to put in your bowl. They have soups, salad bar, appetizers, and desserts. You get a lot for your money. Highly recommend coming here!!!

Unbelievable customer service ! Linda, the host is sweet as can be. Ekha and Jose the chef made us feel at home. The food is amazing. Every city has a secret hidden jem. This is Valencia ’ s .

Whenever I get back to SCV I like to stop in for some BBQ. My last stop in and talking to the owner — this restaurant has been here for years! Growing up in Valencia I didn’t remember it but my parents do and I guess we ate here alot when i was a kid.
The food is pretty standard of what you should see at Mongolian BBQ — frozen meats (add those first to your bowl and remember to squish them down) and then the wide assortment of veggies and noodles. Then you add your own sauce and give it to the cook and in a few minutes you have your own bowl of hot piping food! I usually get about 2 bowls and a few items from the hot tray that they have (they have hot food and cold/​salad items /​dessert) so its a good variety of food. Also at the table they provide you with this pita bread and rice. Lots of food!!!
Come hungry and they have a stamp card too!

All you can eat dinner for 13bucks. I highly recommend this place! They have a make your own noodle bowl bar and they cook it for you on a giant skillet so many options for what to put in your bowl. Also everyone who worked there was so friendly and helped me decided how to make the perfect noodle bowl. Definitely coming back.

WARNING! GO HERE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!!! yummy deliciousness! They have a great selection of items to add to the BBQ and the sauces can range from sweet to HOT! You mix and match your own. They have peanuts, sesame seeds and then they also have Chinese food you can get too. and full salad bar! You cant miss this little gem of a place and their restroom is very nice, because after you will need to make a visit! BELIEVE ME! It’s Worth it~

We were suprised to find this place in a strip mall with one way in and one way out on Lyons, just off the 5 fwy. Linda (our server) has the most gregarious and energetic personality that we have encountered in a very long time. She takes you through the process of preparing your bowl, then proceeds to make the perfect mixture of sauces for your meal.
The establishment shows it age, but is kept very clean including the restrooms. The food service area is kept clean and could be an example for several restaurants in the area.
They could make it better with a better selection of wine in 750 ml bottles, it does not need to be high priced, just bigger bottles and more selection other than just cabernet, maybe add a merlot and pinot.
We will be back.

Loved picking all of my own ingredients at the salad bar, then waiting for it to be stir fried and handed back to me. Delicious! Everything was fresh with a large variety of meats and veggies to choose from. Very friendly service as well. Kind of old décor, but hey, I’m here for the food. As long as things are clean and in good condition I’m good!

The food wasn’t bad, however there is no rhyme or reason to how the bowls are prepared and delivered … you just put your raw food on the window ledge, the guy cooks it, you return and try to figure out which bowl is yours. Also, the cook wasn’t helpful when asked about the sauce combos. The serving staff was very friendly and the place is pretty clean. If you are not a big eater, this place will seem overpriced. I ate one bowl of noodles/​chicken/​veggies. My husband ate two… plus desert… and salad, but you pay the same price regardless of return trips to the buffet. So $ 12 or $ 13 bucks for me was kind of a rip but for him it was a steal. Also, if they are crowded you will have to wait a bit longer than usual for your food as there is only one guy working the grill (we went on a Friday night for dinner).

The food was awesome but the service was superb! The two young gentlemen working were so helpful and a pleasure. We came upon this place on a road trip and we will be back!
This place was very clean and the bathroom smelled nice.
I was impressed by the variety of fresh vegetables and the soup/​salad bar while you wait (short wait) for your food to be cooked. The sauce was the best part. The staff was ready to help make it to my liking– spot on!!!

This is a great place to grab a good bite to eat! It is right off the I5, about a block east bound on lyons ave. I did not know what Mongonlion BBQ was until I tried it out. What it is they have a section where it has chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, some really good noodles, fresh vegetables, and condiments and you put them in your bowl and you take them to the cooking area where the cook, cooks them in front of you. They also have a section where it has stuff to make salads and some other types of appetizers and some sweets. It is all you can eat. Overall I love stopping at this place, good qualiity food, excellent customer service and a good location, plenty of parking.

If I could give this place 10 stars for the food I would give them 12!!! Mmmm delicious! And the price is unbeatable!!! The service is AMAZInG!!! But what’s up with the ambience?! After being in business for this long you would think you could spice up the place a little bit no??? Come on owners!!!

This has become a regular stop for me on road trips. The people are friendly, the food is tasty, and they even have a chart that teaches you different saucing styles. Come, eat, learn.
