Staff was beyond friendly! The gal helping me gave me a great food suggestion and I got the burrito bowl, so yummy! They even have vegan rice pudding, so delicious:)

Really like this place. Everything seems fresh as stated. They have plenty of vegan and gluten free choices that are tasty — definitely gotta try the Morning Glory muffin(gluten free) — amazing! Soups are good and hearty, drink choices include coffees and the environment is clean and bright. staff is helpful and knowledgable about their products. This location seems to close«early» by New York standards due to its location.

I stopped in one morning for breakfast and ordered an omelette and home fries with bacon. The food need salt first off. The potatoes were under cooked and the bacon was very salty. I was so disappointed but seeing that I didn’t want to waste the money I forced myself to eat it. Not sure if I would eat here again.

My office is around the corner from this place, so I figured give it a try… well let’s just say it a one and done for me… I Got the Kale Caesar w chicken. For $ 10 is half the size of the other big salad chain around the corner for the same price and the service was poor as I asked her to keep an ingredient out and she completely disregarded it. The small container wasn’t ever ¾ of the way full and they gave me @ a tablespoon of chicken. I’ve seen there locations around the city but see absolutely no value in this place. Just my 2 cents.

I’ve been here twice now and both times I got the Bangkok Bowl. I requested to replace the scallions with mandarin oranges which both times, they gladly did. The first time I had it, it was amazing, but today’s order — the guy didn’t ask me if I wanted the recommended dressing and when he was putting a lid on my order, I had to ask him for the sauce. Not sure if it’s because there are managers there today, but how can you forget the sauce? I liked it a lot the first time because they simmered the veggies with the sauce, so it was quite flavorful. This time it was more of an afterthought. I’ll definitely come back again and try their other stuff. My coworker really likes their turkey chili soup.

Service was terrible, no respect for customers. I asked for one of the sandwiches exposed(pre-made) and changed my mind before I actually get it, the cashier didn’t let me exchange it even though I didn’t take it from her hands yet. Who does that?! Just go to Mc Donald you will have a much better service.

This is a convenient option in Mid Town for fresh & healthy options. Seating is non-existent, so it’s more of a grab & go place. At lunch time the lines for the custom made quinoa bowls and salads so I opted to get a pre-made wrap in the interest of time. The vegan tuna wrap came with collard green wraps versus any grains which made it a lighter and healthy choice. Staff was friendly, everything seemed clean. I didn’t spend a lot of time here but it seemed convenient and fresh. Good choice for a quick lunch on the go. Not cheap, but hey, it’s Madison Ave.

I feel like people are often thrown off by Fresh & Co because of the long lines that serve basically all the same things for the same price(maybe even slightly more expensive) as a lot of Midtown lunch areas. I’ve been here twice — first time extremely thrown off by the salad line and headed for the quick grab-and-go. I had the turkey salad sandwich and honestly, not a fan. I think I had imagined it to be more«salad-y» in the way that it would be bits of turkey and maybe spinach/lettuce, but it was more of like the creamy chicken salads you get at the grocery store by the pound. So, I’m not a fan of that, but if you are — go for it. It’s pretty fresh, as fresh as turkey salad can get. Second time, I tried the salad line. Daunting, honestly as I don’t like the wait. But worth it because it actually moved quite quickly. I’m horrible at picking options so I usually go for a chef-designed salad. The California Cobb with turkey(as you can tell, I’m a turkey person) was honestly great — they were really great with subbing in just spinach v. spinach and romaine lettuce. After that was done, I went for the mixing station and added balsamic. The veggies were fresh and the turkey was good. It was actually quite a filling salad, so I would recommend that. It came out to $ 11 — kinda more expensive than most in the areas. The line-up and organization of the store is kinda messy, so you kinda just wait in a customer-made line as to who pays first. Plus — if you have a smartphone, you can download their app and get $ 3 credit!

This review is actually for the service. I had to run in for a quick salad, and this seemed to have a ton of options, although most salads are $ 10, I figured it would be quick since it was empty so i didn’t mind. However, the salad guy was talking to his friend the entire time while making my salad and discussing their past/future weekend plans. Which I don’t mind if you can multitask, but he couldn’t. So he would refer to the board for the ingredients and then take his time getting everything together, while still talking. He mumbled something about salad dressing, which I could barely understand, so at that point I just wanted to get out asap. So anyway after feeling like i was intruding on their catch up time, and 10 minutes later i get my salad. The cash register girl also seemed to be distracted and not really trying to be remotely fast. To sum up, this was one of the worst services I’ve had in a while, where both people seemed to care less about being there. But with a different crew you might get a better experience! The salad was OK, i got the sante fe one and they were out of the recommended dressing. The black and white cookies were really good.

I really like the Fresh&Co brand – all of their ingredients are really refresh and they serve organic and natural meats and vegetables. I go to many different Fresh&Co locations, and this location is one of my least favorites because it’s fairly new, and the staff are not as experienced as making the salad and quinoa bowls. I’ve came here a couple of times and each time I order the Asian Energy Quinoa bowl which is super delicious and vegan(it contains kale, daikon, edamame, peppers, brussels sprouts, tofu, and scallions over quinoa with thai chili pepper sauce), but the way they make the bowl seems to inconsistent each time, which is a bit annoying because some times they go heavy-handed with the dressing so be sure to specify.

Came here for my go-to steakhouse salad with a friend. Dinnertime. The place was empty. My friend got the summer special salad, which doesn’t have any protein in it, so I automatically think it’s overpriced at around 12 bucks, but she enjoyed it. I like getting my salad here and taking it to eat over at Bryant Park.

The salad line is always long here but I finally decided to commit and see what all the hype was about. I was immediately impressed with the choice between a salad or quinoa bowl. The selections are plentiful and fresh for sure! Overall the salad was great but entirely overpriced. $ 11.00 for a falafel salad plus cranberries is far too much… As a result, yummy but this will definitely not be my go-to salad spot.

Buyer beware. I love their food, but often I have realized at the cash register that the salad line guys write down a different number on my bowl in order to charge me more. It’s even more infuriating when you order a pre-made salad or quinoa bowl, which pricing is listed on the board, yet they will just write down a different number and all of a sudden your $ 8.50 quinoa bowl is being charged at $ 11.75. That adds up when you go every day. Just make sure they write the correct number on your bowl and don’t let them rip you off.

The worst customer service I’ve experienced. I asked for hot water to warm up my babies milk and they said to charge me for hot water that I will not drink. That is absurd this was the manager that was at the store and when I asked her to please do me the favor since we’re sitting down to eat she said she will have to charge me for the water water from the sink. She said to talk to somebody higher I said okay and she said on Monday which was two days away. Not accommodating to customers service and needs.

Absolutely 100% impressed with the salad bar — not only because of the amazing fresh ingredients but also because of the well oiled machine that the employees create behind the bar. I’ve ordered from here twice — quinoa bowl delivered last time which was pretty good along with a side salad(it was ok but overpriced) and for this meal, a chef designed salad(AMAZING) which was picked up in store. I usually opt for the«create your own» option on salads because the suggested ideas aren’t up to par… this leaves me looked at ingredients and holding up the line during a busy lunch hour — no one likes me. Yes, I’m that person. But not at Fresh&Co — their chef inspired salads really are perfectly balanced and entirely satisfying. I had the Gaucho salad with added Shrimp and Jalepenos with fresh lime and chipotle lime vinagrette(I recommend sticking with the suggested avocado chimichurri). Each ingredient was fresh and packed with flavor, as if the vegetables were bought today, the employee put the salad together in under 30 seconds and then I was on to choosing a dressing, having it mixed and out the door. At a very busy time, they move customers very well. The pricing is competitive with the area and they don’t scrimp on the shrimp as many other places do(counting out exactly five… here, they just take a big spoonful). Worth every dime. Satisfying. I highly recommend this salad if you buy anything. I also don’t recommend the delivery service… If you can, walk over, I’m sure it will be much quicker. Recommended. PS — no place to sit and eat here.

I’ve gotten lunch from here twice and I won’t be returning. The first time I ordered a quinoa bowl for pick up but it wasn’t good and I should have known by the ingredient options on the website. I’d rather walk to PAX on 6th Ave for a better tasting bowl. Last week I placed an order online for PICKUP. I set the pickup time for 1PM and when I got there I was told they delivered my order by mistake. Luckily, my colleague was at the front desk when the delivery man came and he had enough cash to cover the bill, but he also had to tip the delivery person even though my food shouldn’t have been delivered in the first place! 2 experiences was all I really needed from this location to determine that I won’t be back.

Fresh & Co is definitely hit or miss and 309 Madison Ave is a miss. I typically get a custom quinoa bowl with little or no green stuff(I get enough of that in my kickass blender). I wasn’t done ordering and they passed the bowl off to the next station. At the next station, I had to ask for extra quinoa… even with the extra quinoa, the end result was a bowl that was not even half full. At nearly $ 14, I may make the extra 1mi hike down to Sweetgreen, which is infinitely better. In summation, I am still hungry and am now going down to the deli to grab some sushi. Edit: I just found some Adderall, so it looks like I’ll be doing sushi later. Even with the elated dopamine levels, I’m still angry with 309 Mad Ave Fresh & Co.

This place is a zoo at lunch. No one can figure out the lines. They shuffle people. Good food. just don’t go here between 1130 and 1. Anyway… last time I was here I got a Wild Ginger Bowl. Soy chicken is great. Also has quinoa, kale, cabbage, some other veggies and of course ginger. Ginger is pink. I have never seen pink ginger before, but it tastes fresh. I got the dressing on the side, because they looked heavy handed with the sauces when they make the bowls. Lot of good options here.. . but very chaotic.

Before considering, realize that this place is a bit pricey because of everything is organic. I ordered the Tuscan Chicken sandwich for dinner. Everything is pre-made so you can’t get the sandwich how you want it. If you don’t want cheese or tomatoes on it, they can take it off but can’t do much other than that. The cashiers were nice but seemed bored. Every once and awhile, the two women would break into song. Don’t worry, I’ve been there, too. When I worked in retail and knew every song and the order they’d play them in because it was on a permanent loop. It’s all right. You don’t have to stop.

Fresh & Co is at a really convenient location for me, right across the street from where I work. I went around 12:30 lunch time and the line wasn’t long at all. I was expecting lines to be out the door since it’s lunch time on a work day. Then I check in on Unilocal and see all these negative reviews — but it was too late for me to leave. There are two sides — one salad and one sandwiches. The sandwiches looked really good but I wanted to be healthy and ordered a salad. I ordered the California Cobb Salad — the first lady put the greens in the bowl, the second guy put all the toppings, and then the last guy adds the dressing. It was like a two-min process, impressive. By the time I paid, I had only spent 5 mins in the store. I’m not sure if there was a seating area — there seemed to be a little hidden room if you walk further into the place but I didn’t want to check. The bowl was filled, I like that. My reaction to the first bite was that it was fresh — Fresh & Co. see what I did there? It exceeded my expectations — it wasn’t as bad as the other Unilocalers made it seem. But it’s not the best salad I’ve ever had. As a big Chop’t lover, I guess it’s really hard to find a replacement. They also serve soup… I will come back here only because it’s so convenient. Give it a try if you’re feeling adventurous. Prices are similar to Chop’t(with taxes, each bowl of salad comes out to $ 11.)
