Great place for a weekend away. Three course breakfasts were legendary. Small B and B in great condition with lovely hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I recently had to travel to the New Paltz area for a wedding. Since we couldn’t make the drive back on the same night, I figured it would be a good idea to make a little weekend out of the experience and find a decent bed and breakfast. I chose Maplestone Inn because the online reviews I read were positive and the rates were much cheaper than the hotel our friends were married at. I am so very glad that I chose this bed & breakfast. The room was beautiful, spacious and so clean that I thought we were the first couple to stay there. Our private bathroom was enormous. The bath tub was so large that I felt like I was in a swimming pool. And the breakfast! So delicious and filling. Sean and Patty added so many little touches to our stay: bath products, fresh coffee at your door before breakfast. . You should definitely stay here!

Perfect My wife and I travel a lot and this is one of the nicest places that we have ever stayed in. We planned this as a getaway for my wife’s 50th birthday. We stayed there for two nights while we visited the sites in the Hudson Valley. The day we went up there, it was snowing like crazy. We got into the town a little early and had lunch in New Paltz, and it was beautiful. There was just something about being in a quaint small town during a snowstorm. When we got to the B&B, we were greeted very warmly by the owners. They could not be more welcoming if they tried. We felt like we were visiting relatives. There was a large fire going in the fireplace. It was the perfect compliment to a snowy day. The B&B is immaculate. The food is incredible. I am not a fish eater, but there were some salmon cakes that I had to try and they were delicious. Overall it was a great way to spend my wife’s 50th birthday. Thank you for making it so special. You can look at my previous reviews and see that I am very tough reviewer. I could not find any faults with this B&B.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from Manhattan to celebrate our one year anniversary. He and I heard amazing things about the MapleStone Inn and New Paltz from colleagues and undertook the two hour long drive one Friday evening. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Patty herself. The gorgeous Inn is located along route 32, among lush, green hills and farmland. Its quaintness kind of reminded me of England. Inside, every room was thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in the Tucker room, which featured a humongous tub and little stove to heat the bathroom. We even opted for fresh coffee delivered to our room in the morning, which was delicious! The breakfasts were amazing — I felt so spoiled! There was so much food I’m probably missing some things from my list: + yogurt parfait with fresh strawberries + scrambled eggs with cheese and peppers + pancakes + bacon + salmon and potato pancake + poached eggs on an English muffin I’m probably describing each of these incorrectly but they were amazing. In all, the MapleStone, its location, and Patty and Sean provided us with a pleasant, relaxing experience.
