Bridge Creek Catering

Came here with two of my girlfriends the other day for lunch. We sat down and had to wait about 15 minutes for our waitress to come over (which was somewhat understandable since the place was busy). She then took our drink order and brought them over within a short amount of time. Then we placed our orders. 2 of us ordered the grilled cheese with cabbage slaw and salad, and our other friend ordered the crab cake. And so the wait began. We waited more than an hour long for our food. The waitress didn’t come over once to check and see if we wanted another drink or to let us know why the wait was so long.
We finally got our food. Cold and tasteless. The crab cake was an actual mystery since all the ingredients were unidentifiable.
The grilled cheese was extremely cold. Which was actually comical since we figured a grilled cheese was hard to mess up.
Our cabbage slaw wasn’t brought out with our order so after asking for it, she brought out soggy cabbage which was strangely considered a slaw.
It was such a bad experience we couldn’t wait to leave New Paltz. Luckily we were able to stop at the fry shack and get parmesan truffle fries to help restore our tastebuds.

for reviews) As a bride planning her wedding I contacted several caterers by e-​mail or by phone (left messages). Bridge Creek won hands down! They e-​mailed me back in a timely manner and when I called and left a message within an hour I was not only called back but Tricia, Jamie and Phil were pleasant and professional. The day of our wedding Bridge Creek arrived when they said they would and started working immediately. They executed my wishes effortlessly, we wanted our guest to have appetizers and drinks before the ceremony and the stations for dinner set up so that after the ceremony we could go directly into the reception tent and eat, they did exactly so and beautifully!!! Our guest commented on how pleasant and easy going the staff was and their comments on the food are still flooding Facebook! We had a BBQ station w/​Ribs, mac & cheese, corn bread and collard greens, fug-​getta-​bout-​it AMAZING!!! Brides and Grooms, you know how you hear the stories where you don’t get to eat but later you hear how great the food was by your guest! Well rest assured that any food left over Bridge Creek wraps up and gives you the left overs, believe me there wasn’t a lot either but when my new husband and I got home later at around 3am (from the after bar party) we were starving and then smiled because we realized we had some yummy food to attack! The only item we weren’t able to try (no leftovers) was the corn bread, some of our guest had like 3 or 4 stacked on their plates, gotta love a great cornbread :) We would hire them again in-​a– heart beat!!! just returned from BC and have to say… very dissappointing! Our portion sizes were crazy small… just don’t get it? Beautiful evening and were able to sit outside, view was lovely, but why with so stingy??? Try next time to match the view! I can’t say there will be a next time for us unless we hear that changes have been made.

On a day with atrocious weather, Bridge Creek all made our wedding celebration wonderful beyond belief.
Phil’s outline in our initial meeting helped us shape the whole day, and reminded us of parts of the celebration that we hadn’t considered.
We loved that they handled all the rentals.
The Food:
Besides enjoying it ourselves, and thank you so much for telling us to eat 1^st, we have heard so many raves about the whole package.
The trout, the lamb and especially the pie are so memorable, but people loved the cheeses and the veggies, the snap peas were perfect etc. Etc. etc…
Your organization and responsiveness to us has been wonderful. Every email was answered in a timely and helpful way.
We really want to give a shout out to the captain, Jessica, who rearranged the dance floor, really got it going, and moved in the moment with our changes in toasting etc.
Friendly, responsive staff, and the cleanup was so thorough.
We loved our private plate and 2 forms of bubbly.
Thank you so much to help us share our special event in a way that reflected the joy we have in feeding our friends with good food.

These people catered my nephew’s wedding in Lakeville, CT. and did a fantastic job. I wasn’t thrilled with the appetizer choices (mundane) but that was the bride’s choice;the dinner was very well prepared and presented. The servers were constantly in motion and worked in an unobtrusive, highly professional manner.
I highly recommend !
