Jenkinstown Day Spa

I was visiting the area on the weekend of my birthday. I decided to book a massage as a gift to myself! The place was lovely and everyone thee was very nice.
I had a one hour massage. It felt great. About an hour after I left, though, my back started aching terribly. I then headed back to Massachusetts the next day, still in a load of pain. I emailed the address listed on the website asking for possible reasons why this may be happening and never got a reply.
It took about a week for the pain to subside. Overall, the experience at the day spa was nice, but I do think it’s very important as a business and provider of these types of services to respond to their clients if a problem arises.

Glad to participate in the Jenkinstown Day Spa repeat visit program, where my wife and I get massages once a month and they offer a discount each month!
We always find the healing hands of Lauren, Karla, and the rest to be just right. The setting is delightful, complete with babbling brook, greenery, and plenty of relaxing places to be calm before and after any treatment.
Highly, highly recommend!

I had a facial this weekend. The facial itself was great, I would have liked a few more minutes of massage on my arms but all of the face stuff was great. The spa facility lacks some amenities that you would find at a high end facility; coffee and tea are available but there isn’t really a place to relax afterward, I wasn’t given a robe. I sat down in the lobby area afterward to decompress before my drive home and every employee seemed to think this was unusual and asked if I needed anything. I appreciated their attentiveness yet I just needed a few minutes after my treatment. I would go back for a facial but I would likely go somewhere else for a massage to get all of the bells and whistles.

Just such a wonderful little Spa. Run by a few fabulous women and owned by a very talented masseuse. There is a pleasant and soothing little creek right behind their business. The building is decorated nicely and had a very relaxing feel right of the bat.
I had Lauren give me a 45 minute massage today, and I have to admit I am an insanely happy lady now. She had a strong touch for those who prefer that (I do.) The 45 minutes felt more like an hour and half to me. It was that relaxing!
The offer you a water or tea before and after your work and they let you relax and feel at home.
Something I absolutely want to do again. They have a lot of options! !!!
