My first time coming here and I was shocked at how ancient this building is. This has to be the oldest, smallest Popeye’s chicken restaurant in America. It had 5 tables inside and all 5 were filthy. They weren’t busy at all… Which is why I didn’t understand why we had to wait 20 minutes for our food. They had about 5 staff working the back area, one at the drive thru and one at the front register. They were fully staffed and the chicken was stocked, they were just moving in slow motion. When the chicken did come out, the pieces were so small. The breast and wing were so small, they looked as if they were dried out but surprisingly, they weren’t. They were actually good. The beans and rice were good as well. I’m giving this restaurant only one star because of the customer service, the extremely long wait and filthiness of the restaurant.

Good, fresh food, but be prepared for a ridiculous 20 minute wait in the drive thru. I sincerely hope the dirty condition of the exterior of the building does not mirror the inside of the kitchen.

Yikes. First the drive thru was frozen turtle slow. Then when we finally got up to the window to pay, the employee never cracked a smile or said anything directly to me. I had to ask for dipping sauce and she reluctantly told me what kinds. I got one. She took my money, never said thank you, and we drove off. Should have checked the bag. I drove across the street to park and eat before shopping, and there were no napkins, so fork or spoon to eat my coleslaw, and my chicken was barely warm and had that gross undercooked but greasy look to it. I out everything back in the bag and returned to the restaurant. When I took my horrid food back inside, the cashier told me it was cooked. Nope. It was cold. The GM told me that it was my fault because I didn’t eat it within five minutes. I told her about the lack of napkins and fork, and she told m people have to ask for them since most people have silverware and napkins already. In the car? She poked her finger thru my cold chicken and said it was cooked, and pointed to the wall of chicken behind her and said it was all cooked and i had no cause to complain. When I got irritated, she told me not to get mad and to be quiet. I got my money back for my meal, but that was after having to explain how gross it was more than once. Never ever again. Ever.

Terrible service. Worse every time I come. Missing a chicken strip and an entire side. You people have one job, and you suck at it. I am DONE with Popeye’s. I hope this location closes.

I’ll keep this short and sweet since I’m mobile. This place sucks, the chicken pieces are small, the employees are ignorant, and since al Copeland lost all his Popeyes stores in the 80s, these franchises are an embarrassment to Louisiana style chicken and biscuits. Al Copeland, the founder, is turning in his grave.

This place has been getting worse every time I go, and as a result I come less and less often. Today was the last time I will ever go. 7/8/12.Their manager Orlando was extremely rude when telling me to get out of the way in the drive thru. I had to wait for 8 minutes before they would even take my order even though there was no one in the drive thru line in front of me. I ordered and paid. They said for me to pull up so they could get the order after me. They only do that so they can falsely make it look like the orders are being filled faster. Corporate rates them on many things including time. I pulled up as they said, then they told me to get out of the way because the truck behind me was too big to go around. I told them I am not leaving the parking lot with out my food that I had already paid for, which is what they were telling me to do. I actually had to call the police to report this as theft as they told me they would not bring it at all. I will be filing a complaint with their corporate office. I filed a complaint that week on the corporate site. I requested they respond via phone, email or mail. To this day I have not received a response. I was once a weekly customer. I have not given this company a cent of my money since that day.

Food was fresh and hot but we could barely understand the guy at drivethru taking our order. He did not speak or understand english well. I was surprised that our order was right. The food was good. I recommend this place if you like fried chicken.
