I don’t like to do this too often, and I specifically made this account to make this review. I’m not the kind of person to be confrontational, so I don’t like to complain to the providers of food because I believe things should be done the right way the first time. Now I’m not really talking about getting the order right or any thing like, «I got the wrong drink, I was supposed to get a Coke not a Dr. Pepper» That’s not the kind of thing I’m talking about here. I’m talking about food quality and store cleanliness. If these things are not your top priority (especially as a Chick-​fil-​A) then I will no longer be visiting your location. There have been countless occasions I’ve come into the store to dine and been appalled by the «cleanliness» in the store. On at least 2 separate occasions, I’ve seen cockroaches crawling around on the floors near the garbage cans inside and also behind the counter! The drive-​thu is very slow, and the food isn’t usually very hot or fresh. What really pushed me over the edge to go ahead and write this review is that my family wanted Chick-​fil-​A the other day, so they visited this location. When they came home with a sandwich for my girlfriend, the chicken on the bun looked like it was the size of a breakfast chicken fillet!
If I’m paying for a «premium» fast food item, I expect better than this place is dishing out. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Get it together.

Food is always standard for Chick Fil A. I’ve never had a problem. Previously when a different location forgot an item in my drive thru order I called and they put me on a list so I could get a whole free meal next time.

Good food, good service, just what you expect from Chick Fil A!

I scratch my head a bit wondering how this chain is SO successful with just one type of sandwich versus their many, many competitors offering so much more. But it IS a good darn sandwich! The chicken breast is not the fake chicken you might have noticed elsewhere. It seems as though it’s the real deal. Add a bit of lettuce, tomato, and cheese and you’ve got a really great chicken sandwich.

Worst Chic Fil A ever. Dried up tiny piece of chicken in a stale wheat bun.

I was very disappointed at this location. At the window i asked the cashier if there was the southwest sauce & ketchup she was very snotty & insisted it was in the bag. We had to eat our food dry & our kids had no ketchup. After I called the manager she, offered to replace if I were to bring back food or recipient. When i told her i had dropped off my kid with the bag which had the receipt she simply stated that she was sorry & couldn’t do anything more. We are on our way to San Antonio & werent about to turn around… vey disappointed at this location

This place is always busy so that should say something. Breakfast go to is the chicken mini biscuits. Yummo! Lunch or dinner is usually the #1 chickens sandwich with salty waffle fries and a drink. Salads and wraps are a good go and don’t forget a shake!! Don’t be discouraged by the business because they somehow ice people in and out quickly

My husband & I have eaten there frequently but the morale there, which is now affecting their customers, is deteriorating. No one who works there is happy. They are all so quiet and serious, but civil. Not going back any time soon. Who wants to eat in a place like that?

If this location doesn’t honor military discounts, then I will never give them my business. This location needs to comment back and verify if this is true or false and then I’ll give them a better rating after my visit. Anyone that doesn’t honor our military personnel needs to be boycotted until they change their practices. It’s hard for me to believe this is true.

Very nice people at this location. I like the remodel they just did. I always get the regular chick fillet with the house sauce and waffle fries.
I love the southern fried chicken strip sandwich for breakfast. And for the whole month of February I’ve been enjoying the free coffee all day long, gourmet fair trade coffee served either hot or iced with vanilla.
I love those freebies. If I’m going to eat fast food, I’ll either come here or Schlotzsky’s.

This is a great place to bring the kids just to hang out and eat. My experience was pleasant and I only went through the drive through.

This establishment is smoothly run by the most professional management staff! We love coming to this location, food is always fresh.
The only drawback is the location, tons of traffic and drive thru gets backed up into Walnut and makes it difficult for people to reverse out of blocked parking spaces.

Really friendly. Serve breakfast til 1030. Have chicken biscuits, sausage biscuits, chicken minis. Always attentive and a great place to stop on the road.

This location is very close to the main highway and access road. Pulled in around 1:20pm on a Friday for lunch and it was very busy. The drive through was even busier. No real complaints during my visit. Service was pretty quick (and friendly) but the employees working the tables seemed to have problems keeping them clean for in-​coming customers. Food was good and hot – heavy customer traffic probably contributed to this as well.

A warning — if you are placing an order «to go» look at everything before you leave! I go on the way to our Grandson’s high school football games. Last year, after they left significant things out twice I started checking before leaving. Tonight i went for the first time this football season. I repeated the order to the counter person at the end, pointing out she had only given me 4 instead of the 5 drinks ordered, but failed to check the bags. My mistake! In addition to the drink, they had also left out a sandwich & the 4 «unsweet» iced teas were all sweet. The food is fine. Just check your order carefully before leaving, even if you have to hold up the line in the drive-​through.

Not sure why this location listing say it’s not good for kids, does not take credit cards or does not have a drive thru — all false. One of the best cfa’s out there, hands down! Great food, fast professional service and one of the best fast food places in New Braunfels. I think it’s funny when one cranky witch who had a bad day posts crap on Unilocal.I say, you get what you give, lady! Please don’t come back! The rest of us want to enjoy our meals in peace.

I ordered a Salad and a Large Lemonade. Once I was at the window, the young girl took my credit card and charged me for my order. As she handed me back my card, she said «We’re out of lemonade», again AFTER she had already charged me for it. I told her to refund it to me. The manager came over and immediately told me to stop yelling. I never once raised my voice during this visit. I told him this, at which time he told me to «relax» and «calm down». Again, I never once was anything but calm. There was a camera there, I’m sure it is perfectly visible that I was being polite to them. I did ask more than once «Why was I charged first if she knew she was out of lemonade? Why wouldn’t she tell me that before running my card?» To this question, I never received a response.
The manager finally refunded my money on the card, hastily handed me the refund receipt, then walked away. He never apologized for the mistake or for his accusatory tone when dealing with me. This was incredibly unprofessional and I will not ever visit this location again. Furthermore, I will be posting this same message to the review site Unilocal and all over Facebook. Nobody should ever be treated like this just for asking for a refund.

That’s the letter I wrote to them. These guys are absolutely horrible when it comes to conflict resolution. Apparently, if you ask for a refund, they take it as an affront to their being. They really need to grow a spine and learn to deal with someone politely asking for their money back and not take it so personally. They’ve lost my business and I hope they lose yours too.

Wow! I got a coupon for a Free Spicy Chicken Sandwich and I couldn’t pass up the offer. CFA has the best Waffle Fries:) a potatoes sliced thin in the shape of a waffle and fried to perfection. During the summer they have amazing Peach Smoothies and during the winter The Eggnog Smoothies are my thing:)! I ordered the Spicy Sandwich and was told since it was morning I would have to wait 10min. Not too happy, but then the smiling girl handed me a box of delish chicken bites! On the house, for waiting– amazing! Not only did she go above and beyond in Customer Service but she gave me Free Food on top of Free Food, life is good! These bites are Biscuits stuffed with a Chicken Nugget and brushed with Honey, Yum;) My wait time was only 5min-​not too shabby:)
