The only reason I gave 1 star is because you cannot give 0! The Hispanic woman in the vision center can’t help you because she is always to busy on her phone. She is also extremely rude should you be ridiculous enough to disturb that by asking her to do her job. Kip a CSM is by far the worst«manager» I have ever dealt with! Don’t come here should you have a choice.

Worse Wal-Mart around ! ALWAYS out of what I need, I will go back the next week and they are STILL out of what I came for . It’s always filthy, their bathrooms can give you a disease, your better off NOT washing your hands there .The shelves are not stocked. Terrible selections. I would not give this a star at all if I had a choice ! Today I made up my mind I won’t go back, besides most things aren’t much cheaper than their competitors.

We come here once every few months and usually regret it. We live closer to Target where it is cleaner and the workers seem happier. Prices are always reasonable but the lines are always so long and they have so many lanes always closed. The self check out area is the thing to do when it is working. Restrooms are often dirty. Workers always seemed tired and ready to go home.

This is a terrible Walmart! I avoid going at all cost. It is the nastiest, most trashy and unorganized Walmart I’ve ever set foot in! The produce is almost always rotten! Last time I was there I walked past the little«Cooked food-to-go»(not sure what to call it) in the back and they had at least 8 of their cooked rotisserie chickens sitting on the counter, open and exposed, they sat there for a while so they probably reached the danger zone as far as food safety temperatures go. Don’t even get me started on the restrooms! I wanted to bath in sanitizer and scrub myself with a Brillo pad after walking out. The only good I can say is they have a somewhat friendly staff. I’ve never been treated poorly, but, like I said, I avoid this place as much as I can so I’ve never really interacted with any of the staff!

I ordered a new bed frame to be delivered at Walmart. I thought about having free delivery, but I figured I would save a couple days and just breeze in when it arrived and scoop it up. Boy was I wrong on all accounts. First it was delayed five days. Don’t know why, but once it hit Friday they held the delivery to the next business day delaying it by three more. I went to the store as instructed and waited in a huge customer service line with one cash register being worked on by two folks who plainly didn’t care. After waiting 5ever(it felt longer than forever) a Walmart employee told me that if I had a return she would take me at the other register. I said, no thanks I was picking something up. Then I was informed that pick up was in the back of the store. After waiting that long and going where the email told me I was cheesed off. I asked how I would know that as there were no signs, messages, or anything. She politely responded that I should have asked someone. Really? When does a company not do it at the Customer Service counter? I then went to the back. There they had converted their photo lab to a pickup and lay away counter. No info, you just have to get screwed before you find that out. As expected, I now got to the end of another long line. My blood pressure should have had me rating an urgent care facility, but I managed to keep it under control. When I was finally served, I did get the only decent touch. Because the frame was heavy they had someone take it all the way to my truck and put it in. I expected to do it myself, so that was nice.

Oh holy shit, what a Wal-Mart in the first world is supposed to be like! How can you tell this Wal-Mart is in a different category? Just check out how FEW security devices there are on things! Seriously! They don’t wrap the gigantic lego sets up in them! Unheard of in San Antonio! And then there’s the glorious, luxurious parking lot which is never more than 1⁄3 full. And it isn’t filled with old people using the scooters. And they obey the arrows and parking space lines! When you step inside, you immediately notice that THIS Wal-Mart has product on the shelves! It doesn’t look like Haiti before a hurricane! They have THINGS that you want to BUY! ANDYOUCANBUYTHEM! But the greatest credit to this Wal-Mart and the good people of New Braunfels is the way in which they purchase their goods. Sit down, if you have a hat, you may want to grab on to it: They go to the register. They place their items on the counter. They give the cashier money. They pick up their stuff. They leave. To understand how truly extraordinary this is, simply go a few miles south to San Antonio and try participating in capitalism there. You will crawl back north on I-35 having seen horrors that we dare not speak of.
