So while I’ve been working off highland my friend has been showing me all these taco shops. He said this place is the closest you’ll get to a Mexican home cooked style burrito. Seeing how in Mexico they don’t do burritos just tacos all they do here is get a small flour tortilla and make it a mini burrito. We had 5 barbacoas and five Asadas. Me personally I thought the carne asada burritos were better just because to me barbacoas isn’t meant for a burrito… it’s suppose to be served as soup or taco because all the juices. So back to the carne, they grill the meat on an actual bbq grill outside and not on a flat grill like every taco shop uses. You loose the flavor that way if you ask me. They serve it real basic with guac, onion, and cilantro. Just the way it’s suppose to be. No pico, no rice, no beans just a solid lil burrito over all. It appears to be ran by a husband that work the register and wife that’s on the grill. Both are very welcoming and made sure we were situated at all times. My buddy said they’ve been operating out at the national city swap meet for years and they sell out super quick!
