I had come here in the past and the food was good, but today it was terrible the food seemed reheated the I got the beef roll tacos they only came with tomato, guacamole and cheese
To start the cheese looked expired, the guacamole was black like old, I didn’t even finish them because it had a nasty taste.
The place looks old and it’s dirty they new to give it a good clean and change the rug, table cloth.
Another thing while we were eating the waitress was sweeping the rug, not good or healthy.

I have come here twice already and the experience is somewhat the same. I find all the food bland and underseasoned. I have tried the buffet as well as individual entrees, and it’s all has no taste. I will not be coming back.

Wonderful breakfast menu. I had the huevos rancheros, my girlfriend had the traditional American ham and eggs, and her friend had the steak and eggs, ranchero style. I recommend that you go in the morning for a wonderful home cooked meal. :-)

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant ! If the addictive chips and salsa they give you right when you sit down doesn’t fill you up then their delicious variety of meals will definitely do the trick to make sure your tummy leaves full and satisfied. Been coming here for since I was a kid and their Refried beans and hand made tortillas never get old and are to die for !!

Food overall was great, service was OK. However my wife and I ordered two bean burritos and water to drink and were charged 15.15. The burritos were 4.65 apiece. My mother in laws bill was also five dollars too much, so this place whether they meant to or not overcharges their customers. They did refund our money but still. So todays tip: if you choose to eat at this place you might want to double check your bill.

Unfortunately this place does not do the justice for Mexican food. We took a large group and they took forever to simply take our order. We had to flag the waitress down to take our order and even still, they had the audacity to say I’ll go look for your waitress. It took 10 minutes to find a waiter within a 20×20 restaurant. It’s not too hard to find someone to take an order. When they «find» our waitress, she gets bothered because we didn’t spit out words out fast enough. The waitress said «ni esta lista» (she’s not even ready). Rude.
They took another 20 minutes to get our food. I don’t mind waiting for good food but we didn’t order nothing fancy. …a bowl of bean soup, 2 fish tacos, and a kid’s bean burrito. The fish tacos were made of, what looked like, frozen fish nuggets! They bring out our food… Wrong order :/​my father in law and a friend order the caldo de res (beef soup) and it comes out lukewarm.
I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but at no time did they apologize for the long wait, nor the wrong order. The only reason i give this place two stars is because they make their homemade tortillas at the front. But for the price they charge, I would much rather go to old town. At least they’re more polite and have more sense of urgency.

The best place to get Home made tortillas and some really good Mexican food so there’s nothing more to say but try it you will like it

Had a great dinner with the family at Casa de Oro. The tortillas were excellent and the food tasted homemade aka casera! The location itself has been there for a while and the interior reflects that, but for the most part it was clean. Delicious food and people were very attentive.

Absolutely worst Mexican restaurant ever. The food is over priced for what you get. The food had no flavor. Service is awful. There was a group of waitresses just sitting down doing nothing, and we were trying to get there attention for coffee and they would glimpse at us and do nothing. Then we wanted to pay and my mom had to get up and walk to the waitress that was on her phone and didn’t bother acknowledging my moms presence. We paid and they had no manners as to say thank you.

Not coming back! Good service but not the best food! My husband found 2 large bay leafs in his chicken enchiladas, the sauce was bland and the chips & salsa were gross! To top off expensive…

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and drive quite a distance to get there. Everything I have had is delicious. I have never had any of the problems others have in these reviews, at other restaurants I have. I am very picky where I go to eat and once I find a good restaurant, I am a loyal customer. Their handmade tortillas are wonderful, re fried beans the best and very authentic tasting. Love their crispy tacos, chips and salsa and the best chili relleno I ever had aside from my fathers. The service has always been good, just wish they had healthier choices of beverages than they do. Their flan is delicious. If you want authentic, this is the place. It is full of local Mexicans which screams authentic.

Very close to KOA campground. We had a very good experience there. Food was good, service was good and the place was clean.

Food is amazing, did not like the plastic table cloths! My point of view fresh tortillas could be smaller. They had an excellent taste. Service was mediocre.

Came here on Cinco de mayo and the service was beyond horrible! We arrived at 7:10pm our order was taken at 7:45pm. (No drinks yet) there was only one server that was helping everyone. It seemed that they put off our table to get the remaining guests out before they helped us. I advise you if your coming here to be prepared to wait! I felt sorry waiter as she was going add fast as she could. The owner needs to improve the staffing situation. Customers don’t want to wait for others people to be taken care of before they are served. I will definitely be considering other options next time I want to eat out.

Really good Beef Colorado. Tasty rice not dry like other places. And their beans were perfect not too salty and just the right amount of cheese.
The Only complaint is when I took my to-​go order home, their Albondigas Soup (Meatball Soup) Smelled great and the broth was good in spice and generous potions; I have tasted it first. BUT when I poured it into bowls for my family and I, I was shocked and grossed out to see two medium length black strands of hair at the bottom of the styrofoam container. (I have blonde hair and my My husband went back immediately and showed our findings to the staff. They were apologetic and offered to give us something else on the menu. I am hesitant though cause if there’s hair, who knows about they overall food handling or proper use of hair caps, and the nurse in me just wandered about their hand hygiene and I just couldn’t eat it after paying $ 27 dollars for two entrees.

I went to this place on a Sunday, 11÷16÷14, i want to start off by saying that the customer service was horrible! i had to ask for a drink TWICE! Every time they would bring something to my table, like when they forgot my tortillas, they would put their arm over the table in front of someone’s face!!! ugh. i mean it was so rude! they couldn’t come around and place it next to me? i say they because two ladies did the exact same thing.
Since it was still breakfast i ordered an egg with fries for my daughter, omg the egg was like someones left over egg. it was see through and it looked like a long strip off egg when i picked it up.
my chilaquiles! Omg i love chilaquiles but these needed some flavor! the server Mlooked bothered when i asked for some sour cream! horrible experience!

Went here for dinner. Had the house burrito with rice & beans. It was good. The meat in the burrito was delicious! Awesome service & great tortillas. We had an Entertainment coupon which saved us some money. We will be back!

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. Who could forget those old ladies making fresh corn and flour tortillas behind the counter? Oh just thinking about it reminds me of my nana making homemade tortillas. Where is the butter?
I came here for a Sunday breakfast. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I knew it was Mexican food! So I choose the Chilequiles con huevos, over easy. My breakfast buddy went with classic menudo.
It is my understanding that this place closed down recently in the past. So when I found out they were back in operation, I hit on the gas pedal here to get my grub on. It was super early in the morning and service was fast.
The tortilla lady came by to give us a sample of her fresh tortillas. I am a flour fan by far, but when she dropped off both of us corn tortillas it made me appreciate how delicious anything tastes fresh, homemade.
The fat: Sunday buffet is a great deal and includes menudo.
The skinny: Be sure to tip your tortilla ladies.
