Went there at about 11am for the buffet(my first visit here), left at about 11:35. 12 people there during this timeframe, 1 new pizza on the buffet the entire time. Nobody touched the veggie pizza which was the only thing I was after. About 15 minutes into my time there a man goes up and asks if there is going to be any more pizza out any time soon, he’s told there is. After a while he left, the pizza did not show up for another 15 minutes. The food itself — meh… the veggie pizza was sweet. I mean, it tasted like sugar had been added to the marinara. Not particularly bad mind you, but kind of put me off. The crust was soft and white, like compressed bread or like pizza crust that had not fully been cooked. The veggies were a bit mushy. All in all the pizza did not seem to have been heated correctly. The cheesy bread pizza was ok, seemed to have been cooked right, much thinner crust though. During this time, the delivery driver was in and out with a lot of food it looked like, they were booking on the deliveries, but it seemed to be at the expense of the 12 patrons inside. The place itself appeared to have been a Mexican restaurant that was turned into a Chinese establishment before finally becoming a Pizza joint. The design cues are just all wrong. Buffet and drink were about $ 6.50, which would have been pretty good for the area if the buffet had been restocked. If you’re looking for the place, it’s in the Metrocenter strip mall… look for Watkins(used to be a movie theater) and pan right, you’ll see Neely’s BBQ and then right next to it is a sign that’s peeling horribly and that’s this place. I wouldn’t go back for the buffet, but I might consider ordering off their menu though as they’re about 2 blocks from where I work a lot.
