Good gluten free pizza option. My friend’s sandwich was amazing. The fries are great. You can tell it’s all made fresh! Horrible music selections on a Saturday morning. Very little parking. While I was there, 8 cars were booted across the street in the Cumberland Machining lot. My server sweetly notified us but it was too late. Who boots cars on a weekend morning!!!(Cumberland Machining does!) Especially in a neighborhood where parking is becoming close to impossible. I wasn’t paying attention to the signs bc it was Saturday. Lesson learned. The gluten free pizza was good, but not $ 50 booted car good.

The owner, managers, and staff of 312 are outstanding! I had originally reached out to them for a silent auction donation for an animal welfare nonprofit I worked for and they were very quick to donate. We had a large community outreach event and were expecting about 15 staff members and 40ish volunteers for an all day event to provide free vaccinations(and spay and neuter vouchers) to underprivileged pets. I reached out and hoped for the best but was realistic that it was a tall order. Once again they agreed to donate without hesitation. We were going to receive 6 large pizzas. The day of the event I went to pick up the pizzas and they quickly ran to the back to grab them. To my surprise they also gave me a bag full of(very sturdy) plates, utensils, even servers as well as pepper and cheese. They made my life easier for sure! Everyone who had a slice(or two) was quick to comment how great the pizzas looked and tasted. Everyone was pleased with the quality and asked where I got the pizzas. I told them 312 Pizza Company donated them and they were even more impressed! This place has a great, quality product and professional staff and owner. I love that they were so quick to give back to the community by helping Pet Community Center twice.

As a Germantown resident, I’m so happy to have 312 in our ‘hood! Not only is the casual ambiance and friendly spirit of the place a welcoming breath of fresh air, but the food is all friggin fantastic — I’ve tried most everything on their menu by now and can attest to its deliciousness! Service has definitely improved since they first got up and running, so I’m confident that it’ll no longer be an issue to deal with forgetful servers and lengthy waits for food. And what a fab happy hour too, with there even being a late night happy hour on weekends! Give these guys a whirl and prepare to enjoy a big slice of Chicago-style bliss.

Let me start off my saying that the deep dish pizza was excellent. I loved the sauce. We also had the fried blondies which were pretty good, but awfully rich. I recommend calling ahead if you’re going to have a deep dish pizza to cut down on wait time as it can take 45 mins to make. The ONLY reason I’m giving 312 Pizza Co a 2 out of 5 stars is because of the racket that is going on across the street. If you park in the Cumberland Machine Co. parking lot, you WILL get a boot and a $ 50 fine; however, their signage is TERRIBLE. Myself and several others fell victim to this, and according to other Unilocal reviewers, this has been going on a long time. It’s a shame that 312 isn’t warning its patrons not to park there as I’m sure their fully aware of it.

My husband and I live close to 312 so we come here often for take out. Their pizza is pretty good, but not great and certainly not consistent. We like the Nashago pizza, but it tastes different every time. The service isn’t the best either. The pizzas take a long time to make, which is understandable, but it takes too long even to get a drink. We come here because it’s local, but that’s the only reason. If you do make the trip to 312, I would definitely recommend the pretzels as the dipping sauce is the best.

If you have ever had authentic Chicago deep dish pizza, then this is not the place to come and eat. We heard good things about this place and was highly disappointed with the food. The atmosphere is good but they miss it on the pizza, especially the sauce. It was so much sauce and had an odd flavor that it was almost unbearable. I think I will stick to getting my deep dish pizza when I make it back up to Chicago.

I’m a Chicago native and really wanted 312 to be as good as Lou Malnati’s or Geno’s, but I don’t think they come close! I’ve been in at least 3 times and had deep dish, and been disappointed. The mozzarella tastes bland, is too gooey and spills out into the pan. Toppings are skimpy. They have the crust pretty close but that’s about it. Seems like they need to up the quality on the cheese so it doesn’t turn into soup in the pan. Also, the tomato sauce is hit or miss, seems like it’s darker and not as sweet as the traditional Chicago sauces. I hope they get it together! I would love to not have to go back home to Chicago to get a real pizza(or to Pi in STL for a great alternative)! Chopped salad is good, but I wouldn’t get the pizza again until I’ve heard they’ve upped the game.

Real Chicago deep dish. As authentic as you can get without going all the way to Chicago. Those who come here will appreciate the wait and that every pizza is made to order and takes 45 minutes or so once you order. Well worth it

They’re continuing to burn the thin crust it’s awful. I very disappointed. I’ve given many tries being from Chicago talked to the owner about it my goodness. I have done the deep dish awesome it really gives a bad name to «Chicago Style Pizza». The atmosphere is ok lots of things to remind you have back home but pizza they won’t stay around long. Also as a tip DONOTDONOT park across street in the lot they don’t own it but the tow people continue to monitor and boot people. I have never parked in the lot but every time I’m there as soon as person parks there walk in door they put a boot on it not just a ticket!!!

Let me tell you about this place… you will walk into this restaurant, your body will be transported to Chicago, and you will walk out talking like a Chicagoan and no one will know if you cant find your car keys or your khakis. Order the deep dish pizza. Enjoy the cheesy, gooey, heavenly crust of this amazing slice of heaven. They have amazing service and lots of beer to keep you occupied while you are waiting for the most beautiful pie you have ever seen in your life. TIP: If you go in before five, you can call ahead and they will start making the pizza. It takes about 45 minutes to cook.

One of the main reasons I was excited to come here was to try the Risotto balls I’ve heard so much about. And lo and behold, they are no longer in the menu. :( But I did try the mozzarella sticks, which were crispy gooey perfection. We ordered a deep dish which took about 45 minutes to cook, but it was well-worth the wait! Staff was friendly, service was good, and the food was great!

Awesome deep dish pizza in Nashville– I’ve only ever done take out… but I imagine that ordering your food, drinking enough to make you forget you ordered your food, and then having your delicious deep dish pizza pie arrive just in time for the munchies… I imagine that to probably be a wonderful thing. Either way. This is a groovy spot to get your deep dish fix if you’re feeling like a throwdown.

Be Still my Northern heart. I love Chicago style pizza. I grew up going to Chicago multiple times a year as we only lived a couple hours away. The salad came out as one large salad to split. We got the house made ranch to go with and it was garlicky and delicious. The sauce was nice and thick. A runny sauce will ruin your pizza and your day. The crust had a golden brown crisp and I could have eaten it all day. The right amount of cheese sat on top — I’m all about that sauce so too much cheese will also ruin my day. The pizza took 45 minutes but we warmed of this ahead of time by our very friendly waitress. We had some Goose Island beers and skipped on the chocolate chip cookie though it looked fabulous. We can’t wait to go back. As long as I don’t go running back to Chicago first because this place makes me homesick!

This is an ok pizza place at best, but the taste didn’t really stand out much. It’s located at the corner of a street in what looks like a semi industrial semi private housing district, but is subject to street parking. When I got there, there was a sign stating not to park at an adjacent lot at the risk of your car being towed, so apparently that’s frowned upon. I found street parking nearby, but it wasn’t busy when I went, so I’m not sure what the parking situation is on a busy Sunday. The inside atmosphere is set up like a bar, with a few TVs showing sports. Football season hadn’t started when I went, so they were showing football replays, so I’m presuming this acts more as a sports bar. The waitress seemed friendly, although I got take out, so our interaction was minimal. Onto the Food: I tried the appetizer sampler. Mozzarella Sticks: This tasted absolutley horrible to me. This was basically a one star dish for me, and I ended up throwing out most of it. I love mozzarella sticks, but these were some of the worst I’ve had in a long time. There was just a weird flavor attached to it, that no amount of sauce could overcome. Baked Pretzels: This one was pretty good, albeit also somewhat simple. I’ll say this was an OK dish to try, as the dipping sauce really makes any pretzel dish IMO. The sauce here wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Bruchetta: This was another 2 star to 3 star dish. It didn’t stand out much at all, and felt a bit flat to me. Breaded Mushrooms: This was by far the best appetizer that I tried from them. The dip provided for the pretzels went excellent with the mushrooms, and there is a nice crunchy aspect to the mushrooms that I liked. Deep Dish Pizza: Obviously this is the biggest reason most people are checking this place out. The pizza was OK, but nothing spectacular. It is definitely on the heavy side, so even if it looks small, you fill up pretty quickly. I got the Dearborn Station, with mushrooms, tomatoes and red peppers. The flavors did not stand out much to me, albeit it was still edible. And if you haven’t tried deep dish pizza, this is something that can pass as an OK pizza, but nothing more. Overall, I believe this is an OK place to try deep dish pizza, but nothing extraordinary. The fact that it’s mostly a sports bar helps if you want to watch some sports with people(although there aren’t too many TVs) and most likely the games are going to be Chicago sports team based I’m presuming. The appetizers were mostly disappointing for me though, and the parking could be an issue on busy days.

If I can give 0 stars I would… Chicago Natives. Good: wings, and we were seated pretty quickly. Bad: waited an hour for the food, and the pizza was dry and burnt, pepperoni dry… Tasted like cooked and burnt crackers with tomato sauce and dried pepperoni and sausage, mehhhh. Complained to the MGR because I was really disappointed! She tried to school me on Chicago pizza crust haha! First of all I’ve ate plenty of Chicago pizza, my hubby is from Chicago so we know how Chicago pizza taste not dry and burnt cracker like crust… We’re not stupid hello! Well We’re NEVER going back! Not Real Chicago Pizza.

I’ve been to 312 two or three in the past and always had good experiences, today was a far cry from that. A group of 12 of us from our office went in for a celebratory lunch. We called ahead of time to let them know to expect a group at 11:30 and we even ordered a deep dish pizza ahead of time(but most of us were planning on ordering other food from the menu). We arrived in 3 carloads all between 11:20 — 11:25, there were a couple other people in the restaurant but lots of empty tables — it was far from being busy.(Every other time I went — it was much busier but yet the service was quicker) It took a little while to get drinks, and a while for our server to come back to get our order. We asked if we should get appetizers in first or if she wanted to do our entire order then. She said it would just take a min to get our apps in and then she would be right back to get the rest of the order. About 10 min later, she came back to get our order. The appetizers took awhile to come out, but they were pretty good. Our food took forever. The deep dish pizza we ordered at 11am(when the kitchen opens) didn’t come out until after 12:15 — it was warm, not hot. It was a cheese pizza and there was hardly any cheese on it — not what you would expect with Chicago Deep Dish! The rest of our food took forever. The appetizers were long gone, plates cleared, the deep dish pizza was eaten and we were left waiting. A couple salads and sandwiches came out after a good 30+ minute wait. All the food was mediocre at best. The four of us that ordered the«Daily Lunch Special» of lasagna did not get our food. We waited, waited… twice we had servers stop by and ask how everything was and we reminded them that we were still waiting on our lasagna. Finally, the rest of us got food, the biggest let down of all. A lot of lasagna noodles with a whole lot of nothing between them. Not hot, obviously had been sitting on the kitchen counter for some time. Barely any sauce to speak of, only a teeny bit of meat, a bit of cheese and lots of grease. One of the slices was an edge piece and completely overcooked and dried out. You couldn’t even cut the noodles they were so hard. When we asked to get a new piece we were told that was the last piece available. Strange… we were some of the first customers, we ordered the advertised special, it took an hour to come out(although it was obviously done long before that) and yet there was suddenly none left. As we had already been there for well over an hour, we didn’t have time to order something new. So one of us didn’t get a meal. Such a disappointment. Unfortunately, it looks like 312 lost 12 customers today — all of whom were very excited to eat there.

As a Bears fan, this place is awesome. I will be here most Sundays this fall so I have fellow Bears fans to mourn with because my wife is a Packers fan :( As for the food, it’s pretty dang good. They ran out of deep dish the night we went but I wasn’t really in the mood for it anyway. We got the risotto balls to start and they were great. I had the two Chicago dogs for my meal and I could have sworn I was at Wrigley field. They were delicious and only around $ 8 for two. The beer was delicious and all of the food is local except a few things from Chicago. To top it off, 312 is a great supporter of the Germantown community and we love having them as a neighbor!

We frequent 312 after kickball league nights, and it is often packed, so be warned, there may be a wait(it’s not a huge place). Also, if there are Chicago sports on TV, there WILL be a wait. They did just add an outside patio as well, so more seating will help. There is street parking all around, just be aware that it may be a couple blocks walk when there is a Sound’s game going on, but still nothing too far. If you come here for pizza, expect to wait at least 45 minutes for your food. It will be worth it. This isn’t Giordano’s or Lou Malnati’s but it is the best deep dish Nashville has to offer. Don’t forget about their thin crust either, it’s legit. Their cheese sticks are fantastic. Basically, if it has cheese on it or in it, you won’t be disappointed here. Don’t forget to ask for the specials. They just started doing deep dish by the slice($ 6 for pepperoni) and it’s in front of you in less than 10 minutes. Worth it. Also, as a ranch fanatic(none of that nasty Hidden Valley, homemade only) I have to say that 312’s is THEBEST. It is different than usual, a bit more garlicky, but so amazing. So get a side salad for that sandwich and put some ranch on it. Or dip your cheese sticks or pizza in it. Just make sure you try it.

First and foremost, it should be said that my boyfriend and I were crazy excited to try 312 Pizza for the past few months – we’d heard great things, we really love good pizza, and enjoy exploring and trying new Nashville places, in the hope they’ll make it on our Regular Roster. That being said, 312 has zero place on that list. Saturday evening(6.20.15), we got to the restaurant just before 10 p.m. He and I have both worked in the restaurant industry before, and we’re conscious of not appearing right before a restaurant closes – that being said, they don’t advertise a closing time until midnight. Upon entering the restaurant, we were fairly efficiently seated, and the hostess let us know that they were only on the Late Night Menu at that hour, to which we both pleasantly said, «that’s fine.» The restaurant was about 70−75% full at this late hour, although literally every seated party was finished eating, or at the end of their meal. Most of the empty tables were dirty, and several wait staff were gathered around the bar talking to one another, or texting. We were seated at a clean-ish table, albeit next to the loudest, drunkest foursome in the place. Not a great first impression. But whatever – it’s not a quiet type of place, it’s later in the night, we’ll deal with the screeching of the drunk girl behind us. So we peruse the bar menu – we were never given a restaurant menu(bar menu advertised«late night menu» which included individual slices – of which I presume the flavor options were detailed in the restaurant menu… of this I cannot be sure). About 6 – 7 minutes after we were seated, we were greeted by a female server who hurriedly asked what we wanted to drink. I chose a draft beer and was told the restaurant was out of it. Okay, «What do you have?» I ask… she said«everything else.» I order my plan B, boyfriend orders a jack+coke. She said she’d be right back. Roughly 10 – 12 minutes later, she returns, says that a different waitress(Brittney?) would be taking over and that our drinks were on the way. So… we wait. And wait. And look around, and wait some more. Brittney never comes – no one else ever steps in to inquire as to why we’ve been seated for more than twenty minutes with no drinks or attention. At this point, we’ve been in the restaurant for going on half an hour. No drinks. No menu. Definitely no opportunity to order. As much as I like a good deep dish, service – or lack thereof – of this magnitude is just completely unacceptable. Don’t advertise that you’re open until midnight if you don’t intend to serve people until you close. The hip aesthetic you offer isn’t enough to carry your restaurant when service is this bad.

I’ve only become recently acquainted with the dining options in the Northwest neighborhood of Nashville called German-town. 312 has been one of my first experiences, along with a couple others. I’ve heard rave reviews, and seen some negative ones as well. My experience was not bad, but not good either. I stopped in for a quiet lunch time on a Friday, and sat at the bar. The bartender got my order right away, and I waited ten minutes for two slices of pizza. There were two different ones, but I don’t remember what they were called. I do remember the crust was awesome! Spot on! Nice crunch on the outside with that perfect soft dough within. It was drenched in tomato sauce, which I could have cared less about if there were more toppings on the pizza. That’s where it went wrong. The veggies(mushrooms, peppers, etc) all tasted incredibly fake. Just not a good quality. I didn’t feel it lived up to the rest of pizza at all. So on the pizza end, I do believe I can find better in Nashville. The inside vibe is not bad at all. Sports bar, a little more upscale. Not perfectly cleaned, as I could see where it was wiped down on the bar by way of the streak marks. Not my style, but hey, it’s not the biggest deal. I would be curious to see what it is like during a busier time. Overall, it isn’t a bad pizza place, but not one that I prefer.
