Meh. It’s ok. It was honestly better under the old management. It’s cheap but just ok pizza. But why they put the pizza in those heaters as opposed to the old buffet style is beyond me. Hard to see and easy to burn yourself! And someone PLEASE do an extreme clean of the floors. My shoes stick to the floor EVERY time. Could use a deep cleaning and a make-over!

Pizza and wings were okay for the price, delivery time was as estimated, but I won’t be ordering here again. They knowingly replaced my dessert order with a different dessert(that I DON’T like — which is why I didn’t order it!). When I called about it, they explained that they ran out of the dessert I’d ordered and just gave me something else and ask, «Is that okay?» –__– No, it’s actually not okay. They offered to give me a free dessert«next time» but there will be no next time. I was really looking forward to that dessert, and I don’t understand why they didn’t just call me before delivering me some freezer burnt replacement crap that I didn’t want. The food is too mediocre and there are way too many other pizza options for me to order from here again.

I tried eating there today as a third attempt. Well for me 3 strikes are you are«out». I will not try to eat there again. The prices are too high for mediocre. I wouldnt mind eating there if the average price was at $ 5.00 but at $ 9.00 I have to be more picky. The first time I tried eating there about 3 months ago. The lasagne’s tomato sauce was too tomatoey and the pasta was over cooked. The second time which was about 2 weeks ago I tried the pizza. The pizza is very expensive and it was only«ok» the third time today I tried the BBQ Chicken Calzone and I thought the filling was«ok» but there were entirely too many crunchy big sized bell peppers which gave this calzone much more of a philly cheese taste with the additions of BBQ sauce. I could have lived with that if only the inside of the bread werent doughy. Sorry guys I kept trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Honestly, MetroCenter has some mediocre food options. I vowed I wouldn’t come back to Marco Polo but when the greek place was packed out, we walked over. The decent: salad bar had spinach, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a vinaigrette albeit heavy on the salt. At least a reasonable salad can be had here. Also serve yourself fountain coke, so at least you can get a refill on the ice cold diet Coke. Terrible: the pizza in the heating apparatus is about on par with the worst frozen pizza. Pepperoni was burned on the top but was still better than whatever the other pizza was. At least I could tell what type of pizza this was… I couldn’t tell on those others. They also have a menu, perhaps it would be better to order off that? They supposedly have burgers and calzones too. I will consider that if I am ever forced to come back. Price was ok, but for what is on the buffet it should be even cheaper. Hate to be harsh but this place doesn’t offer anything over other things in the area. Go to Subway. Or KFC. Or make a break for it and hit up the Farmer’s Market or Germantown Café. It is definitely going to be better than this place.

A coworker and I noticed the store hand changed hands and was under this new name today on a trip that started out with Neely’s as out destination. We figured it was worth a quick drop in, since MetroCenter is devoid of food options. The good… Super low prices. We weren’t sure if it was by accident, by promotion, or what, but we both ate(with drinks) for around five bucks. Service was quick and friendly. Food was price-appropriate. Fries were excellent. Varied menu with pizza, burgers, calzones, etc… Ordinarily I’m not a fan of the shotgun restaurant approach, but in MetroCenter it almost makes sense. The marginal… You self-serve your pizza from a heating unit. The pizza was clearly pre-made crust cardboard stock frozen pie. Bland, gooey cheese. Mixed buffet and menu like all other entities that have tried to co-exist with Neely’s over the years… it didn’t work for them, why keep trying? Extra unused buffet steam tray counter crammed into front of restaurant takes up space and raises cleaniness questions. Décor MetroCenter chic. Will I eat here again? Probably. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably not. PS — Delivery with a minimum order of $ 10.
