What the heck happened to this place? The food used to be good here. I came in looking for fried shrimp they used to have. Looked on menu and didn’t see it so we asked waitress and she was telling us they only had grilled shrimp. I ended up getting the chicken since I was under the impression they had no fried shrimp. Just before the food came out we saw fried shrimp on the table menu… The chicken we ordered was DRY and flavorless garbage. My chicken tenders had no coating and were like trying to eat boot leather… Also the portion sucked… 5 little dried up tenders the size of pigeon tenders. They used to be coated nicely, seasoned well and most importantly tender… Hence«chicken tenders.» Couldn’t even finish the food it was so awful. Ended up grabbing fast food elsewhere since I was still hungry from wasting my time here. Between the poor service we received today and the food I wouldn’t feed to a dog, we won’t be back. Writing this crap off for good.

Had a terrible meal with the others last night, 1÷29÷16. Busy Saturday night. Vegetables were rock hard and cold, very disappointing. Replacements came out when we were ready for dessert. Won’t bother going back.

My husband and I went to longhorn south nashua on sat afternoon Jan 9. Terrible service at bar. Bartenders were loud, rude. It was absolute chaos. In fact, one of the bartenders was asked if anyone was waiting on the high top tables. She replied that the people sitting there were regulars and could wait. She said she didn’t care. The workers were rude, constantly complaining, very loud, unprofessional. it made for a very stressful dining experience. We will never return to this restaurant again.

Considering it was almost 8 on a Saturday the wait was only a couple minutes, and the room was full. The appetizers I got was the jalapeño shots and pretzel sticks, the jalapeño shooters were not as spicy as I expected but the cheese was melty and delicious. The pretzels were soft and fluffy complimented perfectly by the honey mustard and cheesy filling sauces. The entre took a little while but the waiter brought out our salads to compensate which is nice, I got the steak and cheddar burger and my boyfriend got the porterhouse rare. To quote him«this is how steak should be, «it was juicy and perfectly cooked, as was mine. The rice pilaf was seasond exceptionally as well. An enjoyable date night in my opinion.

I really like the food here and have always been satisfied. The steaks are almost always cooked the way you ask them and they will be more than happy to correct it if it’s not. My only«beef» with the place is we went there recently with four adults and three children and had to sit at separate tables. Not very accommodating for a larger group.

I went in recently with two others who wanted to go to this place.ok. They ordered some chicken dishes and i got steak. The food is good. a great manager– great restaurant, thats what it SHOULD be. this last visit IRRITATEDME!(WAITRESS, NOTFOOD) typical scene in a restaurant waitress: hi folks, how is everyone today customer(usually give their hellos and maybe some chit chat if the waitress is friendly) waitress: can i get anyone started with some drinks? do you need a few minutes? customers,(this can be any answer, «no, give us a few minutes please», Yes, we would like __. waitress should say :” ok sure, i will give you a few minutes to decide”(usually customary to come back 2 – 3 min later) waitress should never hand menus to customers and then«follow my instructions» ” ok, I see you followed me instructions“ really??? YOURINSTRUCTIONS? THATTAKES A LOTOF(*&%% TODO you dont need to say that to a customer. just leave the menus, ask if they want to order, yes or no. we are the customer, we give YOU directions, not the other way around.

Pleasant dining experience. Food was good, service was good. We ordered a shareable apperizer: the spicy calamari. So good, such a huge portion. We couldn’t even eat it all, we knew the main dishes were coming. Steak tips and ribeye, both were good and cooked to order. One of the best steakhouse around. Will we go back? Certainly!

I tried it for the first time. It’s good, but a bit pricey. It’s also good if you’re not a vegetarian or vegan. Most of the food they have is steak, but they do have other meat options. I just wish they weren’t so pricey and had a little more variety.

Ate there last night. Choice of three sizes of beef. We took the smallest. It was plenty big for a small apatite and excellent quality. It was obvious that our waitress enjoyed her job. A great evening, we will return.

This was my first time at this location in a while… when we got here there was a wait… about half an hour. I looked around and there were some free tables so I found this strange.(i never understood this empty table but you are telling people to wait) but hey I’ve never worked in a restaurant so I don’t pretend to know why they do what they do. Once we were seated it was clear that they were either 1) short staffed or 2) busier than they anticipated. We had to wait a little longer than j would have liked for our meal but our server was excellent and always checking on us and our food was good. So what more can you ask for

Thank you Longhorn management for contacting me. I appreciate that you are working to improve the service and hopefully we will come in again sometime in the future. 12÷2÷15 — Still have not been back but will give an updated review if I do.

Lower-tier steakhouse suitable for the average family, not a date restaurant. Good value for the money though.

Service was good but food was«thrown» together. Steak had all the qualities of something pre cooked and heated to serve. The 15 dollar salad was the size of a side salad and had maybe 4 dollars worth of ingredients. Overall a poor experience except for the server who was pleasant and professional.

With both of us having spent many years working in retail in past days, we were both well aware that making any sort of complaint at a restaurant, even in regards to the most minor imperfection, will result in the manager apologizing and offering a discount or free food. But being young, non-confrontational, easy-going lovers, we didn’t care if the service was slow. It was a sunny but cold Sunday afternoon. We just wanted out of the house for a while. While perhaps not initially(water & bread was slow to arrive — and our stomachs were rumblin’) — the delays were actually sort of appreciated by my digestive system… I filled up on salad and two rounds of bread as each dish trickled out from the kitchen. I was hungry and wanted to keep eating bread but with every bite I feared the feeling of full — the ultimate disappointment before your even yummier meal comes to the table! I overheard through the wall-divider, the manager apologizing to another table, and offering to take several things off their check, and offer them a free appetizer the next time they came. Of course, it was clear something had happened, but we didn’t know what. Anyway, about 45 minutes from the time we had been seated, our meals finally arrived. They were delivered personally by the manager, who apologized for the slow service. Again, we were not displeased or inconvenienced in any way, so we smiled with content and told him all was well. He asked us to cut into our meat to ensure it was cooked to our liking. We wouldn’t have cared as long as it was edible — we never eat steak so this was a rare occasion for us — so we didn’t really know how it was supposed to look, anyway. Haha. Naïve youngsters! Later speculation however lead us to believe the table we had overheard the complaint from might have had an issue with their meat, because that was one of the items being taken off their check. So we thought it was a nice gesture for the manager to come and make sure ours was ok. We were then surprised by his generous offer of dessert on the house because of the slow service. We ended up taking it to go, as we were full! We weren’t sure if he meant one dessert to share, or that we would each get one. But we ended up each getting our own serving — woo! Certainly made for a nice treat at 10pm that night! At the end, our waitress was very apologetic for the slow service and told us she isn’t usually this slow, and that it had been a hectic afternoon. She thanked us for being so patient with her and as she placed the check on the table she informed us that she gave us a little extra discount as well. The discount ended up being $ 20 off our bill, so we were very pleased about that! Our two steak dinners complete with bread + salads were now only $ 36 total — plus 2 free desserts. Usually we take-out from Longhorn. this was the first time we had eaten there. While I know we won’t always be this«lucky» it is good to know that this location takes proper measures to make good with their customers — both those who complained, and those who did not! Also that they themselves acknowledged that the speed of service did not meet the usual expectation at that time, so it was good to see. Bottom line: Food was great. Service was slow — but I do believe it was a one-off on their part. We will be back!

Giddy up! I don’t care that it is a chain, I can get everything I love here! Things I love include: o hard cider o honey wheat bread o chicken tenders o Caesar salads with ranch dressing o spicy chicken dipping sauce Granted its true I can get this at any chain steak house, but I like this one a step above road house. One time I tried the Parmesan crusted chicken and it was a mess… Not really anything I’d recommend. I’ve never had bad service or experience at this location.

Yea yea it’s a chain but the longhorn is actually a really good chain. I personally have never had a bad meal or experience here. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and never feels to crowded.
