Yeah, I am reviewing a McDonald’s. I know it sounds pretty weird, but follow me on this. I am really reviewing just the breakfast at McDonalds, well even more specific than that, it’s the biscuits they use for their breakfasts. It’s amazing that the very definition of fast food in this country is capable of making one of the best, home style, just a bit crunchy on the outside, light and soft on the inside, honest to goodness, southerner tasting biscuit! I first got sucked into this amazing item when I decided to see if the two for $ 3 bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits were a good value for a quick breakfast. The eggs where just okay, the bacon was good but there wasn’t near enough of it. The cheese, well it’s American cheese and if it wasn’t on the sandwich I wouldn’t make the sandwich any less of a sandwich. But the biscuit was amazing! I have no idea how they do it, but those things are just amazing! Grab a couple of them for breakfast in the morning, toss in a coffee, or one of their new Sweet Teas, and you got more than enough food to keep your satisfied till lunch time. I don’t have to remind you that going back later in the day for lunch or dinner isn’t a good idea. We all know that they still have just gobs of gunk on the menu, and even the salad, something that on the surface looks healthy, seems to be loaded with grease and just a few chemicals. So just do the biscuits for breakfast, and find something better for lunch and dinner!
