Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill

I came here with a couple of friends a baby and my husband I have to say I was really surprise how family friendly this restaurant is. I had their red beer I’m not sure how exactly is call but I’m sure is the only one they brew it was soooo good that even one of my friends who’s not a beer drinker love it ! For food I had the ribs they were really good the only think I didn’t like much is the Ribs are grill and smoked but not with the bbq sauce, on the table you pick the one you like is not big deal cause they have tons of options and they are all good but I think it will be tastier if they are ready to eat with the sauce ! My friends all had the hamburgers they said they were good but nothing wow and for the appetizer we had the load it fries oh my god those were tasty. I will Definitely come back here to eat more ribs. staff was amazing.

This place is awesome! Love the staff, love the atmosphere, love the food! I just had the most amazing steak dinner! Very highly recommended.

Food is just ok. The reason I keep going back is some of the servers and bartenders. Sara the bartender is great, fast and efficient and friendly! Tania is great too, a people person which is what you need. Both of them know the menu and are very attentive, even when busy!

My boyfriend and I are regulars here. Often times there is a wait for a table (never too long), but the bar is first come, first served. The service is always pretty good and the food/​drinks come out fast. The only appetizer worth ordering is the fried pickles, the others are bland and have a cheap taste. The wings and ribs are very good and consistent whenever we go. It’s nice to return to a place where you know what you’re going to get. Love all the big TVs to watch the games and all the different beer options they have on tap. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. I have been several times and never been disappointed. Awesome beer selection with consistently great food. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They always put on special events making each experience different and fun. Definitely worth checking out!

Smokey Bones is our favorite restaurant in the area. Excellent food, fun and friendly staff and energetic atmosphere! They have frequent theme nights which are really fun. Huge bar and large restaurant area so you can select your experience. When you want more fun than just a meal, highly recommend!

Horrible food. The portions are not what is shown on the menu. The fish and chips was horrible. The fish was rubbery and the fries were soggy. The baby back ribs had no flavor and was dry. The smoked salmon was the worst salmon I’ve ever had. It was dry and tasted like it was frozen for a couple of days. The dirty rice was not flavorful at all. The mojitos were watery and had nearly no alcohol. It just tastes like water and mint. Just very disappointing. Don’t really recommend this place.

Great staff from the hostess to our servers, all the way to the manager and doorman (security guard) who were a pleasure to chat with briefly on our way out. The food and drinks were delicious and they even had some late night games going on to keep us entertained. Will definitely be back!!!

One of the best places to get our drink on, play games, meet and make friends with awesome and helpful bartenders :) love the food, alcohol and the fun times this place brings! :)

I don’t even know where to begin!?! The rodent traps lining the sidewalk outdoors makes you really question whether you should venture inside. When I asked the manager about the traps he said «we live near the woods».he lives here? Gets even scarier on the inside!

I’m giving a 3.5 for food and a 2 for service/​price.
My husband and I ordered take out from here on Saturday night. We got an email saying it would be ready for pick-​up around 6:30PM (~40 minutes later). We show up at 6:35 and the place was packed. There was at least an hour wait for a table. The host said our food would «be right out» and then basically ignored us. 20 minutes later — still no food. Every time we tried to get an update we were interrupted by some girl who was also waiting for takeout but apparently also works there. I understand restaurants get busy on Saturdays but they didn’t seem to have anything organized. Not impressed by the whole exchange. We finally got our food over an hour after we ordered it.
I got a combo plate of baby back ribs and smoked wings. Both were really really good. But they only give you 4 ribs! The entire platter costs $ 19. I know barbecue is expensive but usually you get a plate overloaded with food for that amount. I was full at the end of the meal but frankly for $ 19 I was expecting to have leftovers. My husband got a combo plate of Bourbon BBQ chicken and pulled pork. The chicken was a tiny little piece and basically tasted like someone poured a shot of straight bourbon on top after it was plated. The pulled pork was full of fat and a lot of it was inedible. He really was not happy with the meal and once again the quantity was pathetic.
All in all we will think twice before coming back here.

I come here quite often as the food is pretty good.
The waitstaff is nice and polite and they’re plenty of TVs to watch any sports. The prices are reasonable and the beer selection is quite good.

Went here on Monday for the wing night special (all-​you-​can-​eat for $ 10.99).
Upon arrival, we noticed how busy the place was, which was expected with Monday Night Football and wing night. What we didn’t know was that there was a live cornhole game going on too. Very cool and something unique and entertaining to see! The first place winner received a prize of $ 100. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing with the current «top 40» hits booming through the restaurant.
The service is where the stars were lost. There was a table next to us, a group of younger guys, who must’ve been employees because all the servers kept talking and sitting over there for a little bit in passing. Our server was great, one of the more professional ones, but her trainee looked a bit confused. What struck me as odd is when her trainee ate a fry, WHILE she was walking through the restaurant, off the plate (from the table everyone was talking to) in plain sight as she was walking into the kitchen. Just a little strange and a bit off-​putting to guests who may not have seen her at the table of friends beforehand. It also would have been nice to see a manager walking around checking on guests, but there was not a manager in sight.
Wings were OK. Nothing special. The sauces and flavors didn’t do anything for me. The wings are HUGE and meaty, which is rare to see for places that do wing specials. Usually you get the dinky ones (which I actually prefer). The first round consists of 8 wings of only ONE flavor and some fries. After the first 8 you get 4 each time and you can change up the flavor/​sauce every time after the first round.
I don’t think we’ll be back for the wings, but I definitely will go back and try other menu items that looked appealing (many of the appetizers as well as the specialty mac and cheese choices).

Went to a hangout with coworkers today and we spent probably 2 hours here. 10 – 15 minutes waiting for the rest of the gang to show up, but after that… it all went downhill. I didn’t have a big lunch, so I wanted to order the Smoke Stack Burger ASAP, but the waitress didn’t want to order just me alone until everyone was ready. Then, we were all ready, nobody wanted to order first, so again… I said Smoke Stack Burger, she said appetizers first. After, I said Smoke Stack Burger, she comes around to me and I repeat myself.
After waiting for what felt like ages, my burger arrived… and it was Smoke HOUSE Burger! WTF?! How and where do I even begin to unleash my rage! I’ll stick to Not Your Average Joe’s a few blocks down, better service, food and bread to hold you over until the server is ready!

Not sure what’s going on here, but the quality is starting to slide. We got an order of nachos that tasted so much like salt, they were inedible. Our waitress did take them away and took them off the bill. The wings were cooked too long and were not juicy, very tough… which brings me to my burger… the loaded BBQ burger. Asked for medium, it was still mooing to me as I took a bite. We decided to just drink after that. The Bud Lites were cold and refreshing.

It wasn’t really memorable. The menu items were expensive.
I got some steak salad. The steak was good, but the salad had way too much dressing. I think it was around $ 13 — $ 14 which is always too much to pay for salad.
Some of the reviews said the smokey wings were good, which is true. They were surprisingly good. Overall, it was just an okay experience. I could have just gone to Outback Steakhouse or something and had the same experience.

First off, I wish I could give them three and a half stars. This place is pretty okay. If you come here expecting amazing BBQ, then you’re going to be disappointed. All of you people complaining about the BBQ here have to remember, this is a chain restaurant. Obviously this place isn’t going to compare to a family owned BBQ joint.
I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but from what I’ve had, it was pretty decent. The portion sizes are really good for the price of the food.
I normally come here on Monday nights for the $ 10.99 all you can eat wings. The wings are huge! The only thing I can complain about it is, they give you 8 wings to start and then only 4 wings for every round after. The waiters take way to long before taking your order for the next round.
All in all, this place is decent. I definitely keep coming back, try the smoked wings, those are the real winners.
