Went and had lunch at this place when i touched down in Napa. Don’t let the small place fool ya. For was delicious. They had plenty of condiments to go with it too. Had some fish and chips and a salad. Small salad can feed 3. Nice folks there. Good service. Thumbs up if you plan to visit Napa

Found this gem on Unilocal.I live about 20 minutes away was looking for good take out. Ordered the full rack, garlic bread and chicken strips. It all turned out perfect! Food was smoking hot when we got home. Taste was delicious. Staff was average, they did walk my order out to the car. Simple, easy and delicious. Thanks guys/gals!

Good food, good portions, and a decent price. The bbq is dry rubbed here so it’s a bit different from the typical sticky and sweet bbq. The chicken and ribs weredecent, but the tri-tip was the real star of the show. The sides were generally good. The beans felt like they were canned beans, but the slaw and garlic fries were very good.

Phoned in an order at this location. Usually go to the other but it was closed. I was told 30 minutes till it would be read on the phone and walked in at about 35 mins and waited almost another half hour. At the other location I don’t think it’s ever taken more than a half hour. I awkwardly waited in the super small claustrophobic kitschy tacky dining room. I had to pay 75 cents for a tiny container of ranch dressing. I would honestly give them no stars. If you want Red Rock go to their northern location.

The prices are so reasonable and the place is cute. We went as a family of four and shared two orders. They split it up into four plates for our convenience! My favorite would have to be the chicken and the tri tip. The server was really nice as well. Definitely will be a regular there.

Saturday night we had the Tri-Tip dinner with beans, Cole slaw, Mac & Cheese and potato salad which were all wonderful. Service was just as good. We’ll certainly be back on our next trip Napa

We visit Napa frequently to attend shows at the Uptown Theater and are always on the look out for a «new to us» restaurants. This trip we went to Red Rock Café &BBQ. What a treat! It’s a tiny local place. 10 tables and a few counter seats. The food was excellent. The wait staff is very friendly and quick,. Fast on refills of beverages, We wanted for nothing. We will go there again. Husband and I both had BBQ tri tip, very tender, juicy with a tasty BBQ sauce served on the side, orders came with two side dishes, I had a salad, which was very fresh and nice and the biggest baked potatoe I’ve seen in a while. Husband chose baked beans and potato salad, which were also large portions. Highly recommended. It’s definately a place where the locals eat.

This small café serves some pretty good barbecue. The ribs were tasty but not quite tender enough. The chicken was good and had pretty good flavor. The sides were okay.

This place is a Napa classic. Super good good food, especially their grilled cheese! It’s a super small building with only a few tables; it’s very quaint. Not too much to say other than that everyone needs to come and try this place!

One of my favorite places to eat! The food is amazing! Can’t go wrong with one of their burgers it never disappoints. The customer service is great everyone that works there is so friendly and they make you feel very welcomed. I’m a local and I have been going to this restaurant since I was little and it never disappoints. Always a place I like to send clients and friends!

I mean, the BBQ was off the hook legit considering how much of a hole in the wall this seems at first. The food is all fresh, especially the Mac and cheese… And the house BBQ sauce? Did I say legit? Mad legit.

*This review is for the make your own salads. I am so happy we found this place. It’s exactly what we were looking for! The salads are big(the small filled me up) and they give you a lot of topping choices. I hate spending $ 10 on a salad only to have it come out looking like a side salad with 5 croutons. This place was not that! If I lived near this restaurant I would eat here all the time. Also props for having tofu as an option. Very vegetarian friendly. Red Rock Café really is a hidden gem. We came to Napa for a wedding and wanted to grab a quick lunch before heading to the hotel to get ready. It’s a small place and not in downtown napa so I wasn’t sure when we pulled up but it far exceeded expectations. Not fancy or a good«date» place, but awesome for grabbing a relaxing lunch/dinner.

Best little barbecue in the Napa area. Been here on several stops to the Napa area, and even had a catered Christmas lunch at our local branch. Love their ribs and tri tip sand which. The place can be busy at times, but worth the wait. If in the area and having a barbecue craving this is the place. Come on in.

A true dive, but really good food and service. We enjoyed the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with BBQ sauce and au jus. The pulled pork was juicy, lightly sauced and fairly lean. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of flavor. The dutch crunch roll was a little ready for my taste, but did not get soggy. The brisket was the better of the two meats. Very lean, chopped, perfectly seasoned and perfect with the BBQ sauce or au jus. The au jus left much to be desired, but the BBQ sauce was deep, rich and tasty. The iced tea was some of the best I’ve had. The greeter and server were both very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.

Yummy salads! This place is the answer to Napa’s amazing lack of affordable yummy salads. 7toppings of your choice and good toppings at that. Yummy ranch for southwest style and good homemade vinegarette too! So glad I found it!

Small little restaurant tucked neatly at a corner that I would have never noticed if my friends daughter didn’t start working there. Wanting to show support for her new part time gig, I decided to drop by and try it out. This hidden gem is easy to get to but the huge downfall is the parking. Maybe only 6 slots possible and it is TINY. My little car was sandwiched between two trucks. I had to wince and hold my breathe as my friend backed out for me in hopes not to hit anything behind us such as that random pole sticking out. Whew! Inside is also super tiny with maybe 6 – 8 tables? Since it is tiny in size, I think they push you to eat quickly and go so new customers can get in. My dinner wasn’t too rushed but the server did check on us multiple times. After the 6th time while eating, I told my friend let’s get going. Now the food, I ordered a shredded pork Sammie and my friend got the chicken and tri tip. We split so we can each try the food. The chicken and tri tip and pork were cooked perfectly and was SOOO good. My friend got loaded baked potato which was also cooked perfectly. Only thing I didn’t really enjoy was the cornbread. That is usually one of my favorite things to eat but this place, it had a weird hard chewy consistency. Def would not order it again. Seemed over cooked I guess. Overall experience was great. Would def come back and recommend this quaint little spot! Oh and FYI the price is a bit pricey for some of the items but the food quality is great!
