This place saved our valentine’s day.(even tho it’s a hallmark holiday.) First off we had been to IHOP just so I can get in on the all you can eat pancakes. Terrible service. Never got a chance to eat any. We head off to Napa for our stay at the Senza hotel, also a nice place and will be writing a review, and had reservations for the Q. First theft place looked awesome. Casual ambiance, friendly people. Our server, Josh was real coo, real attentive and welcoming. The food also amazing. Meat tender and the sauces were great. Not a fan of coleslaw, but theirs were great. For dessert, the key lime pie. We both loved it. Loved it so much we asked for 2 more to go. Wish we lived in Napa to come to this place more often, but that won’t stop us from coming back again. Great choice!!!@

Summary: The food was average to below average and the service was below average. What we had: Drinks: Blood Orange Smash My wife didn’t like it and had only one sip. I was surprised that the wait staff never asked about what she thought even when they cleared the table.(She thought it was too strong) Water, it was water. Appetizers: Corn Bread, Fried Artichoke Hearts(Both of these were good) Entrees: Flank Steak with mashed potatoes and Broccoli Flank steak tasted good but could have been sliced more thinly it was smothered in a overly sweet onion sauce. The mashed potatoes had too much sour cream in them. Broccoli was burnt. Burger and Fries: Fries were good. Burger was borderline room temperature probably from sitting out too long. I would have rather had a fast food burger. Dessert: We didn’t bother.

Maybe it was an off night for them or I’m used to really good BBQ. I ate here and was really disappointed. It was the worst BBQ ever for me and the worst meal I’ve ever had(in Napa). We ordered a ton of food so I tried everything and nothing stood out as being good. The ribs were very dry and tasteless and the mac n cheese was pretty flavorless — it’s really hard to make bad mac n cheese. There are so many great restaurant to choose from in Napa — this was really disappointing. The pecan pie was pretty good though!

I’d been here years ago and remembered enjoying my meal so I was excited to eat here when we were in Napa for the afternoon. They have a large outdoor patio, I think it’s actually larger than their indoor dining area. Sadly it was a rainy day so we weren’t able to enjoy the patio. On sunday they had both the lunch and brunch menus available complete with their own spin on some classic cocktails. I enjoyed what I think was called a shandy-osa which was kind of like a cross between a mimosa and a Moscow mule. My husband went for the chicken and waffles for his meal(he can never resist chicken and waffles), and I had the pulled pork sandwich which comes with a tasty little green salad. We also shared an order of fries. We both enjoyed our meals. They bring you an assortment of bbq sauces as well as hot sauce so you can season up your meal the way you like it. I am always a fan of lots of bbq sauce on my pulled pork sandwich so I was glad they brought us plenty! We will definitely keep Q’s in mind next time we are in town!

We came at 3:15 on a Saturday afternoon after a drive to Napa. We were traveling with our 3 yr old. There was only one other party when we arrived, which was nice to have fast seating and the servers basically to ourselves. Unfortunately the menu, as far as we could see, didn’t have any children’s items– but thankfully they had a side of macaroni and cheese that we purchased($ 8) for her. My husband and I both had the barbecue Choice of 2 meal($ 19ea). For his, he chose Chicken and the ribs. For mine– I had the Brisket and the ribs. It comes with a side of coleslaw as well(which was too much mayo for my taste). We also got a side of French fries to share amongst all of us. Once the food was brought out the portions were great! Definitely worth the money. The ribs were super yummy and basically slipped right off the bone. The brisket was also very tender. My husband’s chicken was cold(like reheated) which was a bummer for him(I imagine it had to do with the time of day we went), he still liked it though. My daughter liked her macaroni, which I tasted to make sure she would, and it had a great mild flavor with a crumbly topping. The french fries were good also. Our server was a blonde gal who was super nice. She gave our daughter crayons and a coloring page to help pass the time while waiting for food. She was super attentive and we were very happy overall with our experience!

Had lunch here. Not many patrons so we received great attention! Menu has southern flair– the fried pickles were yummy! Pulled pork sandwich was good(coleslaw on top) and they bring out a selection of sauces to add if you wish. Lunch tab was pricey($ 40) with no alcohol– but ambiance was pleasant and timing of delivery was spot on.

Very disappointed to have wasted a meal here while on vacation in Napa. Like some of the other reviewers here, we were misled by the 4-star review. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere with a pretty outdoor seating area. We had called ahead and our table was set and ready for us upon arrival. Unfortunately everything was downhill from there. After placing our order for a party of 6, we waited 50 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Pulled pork was bland and dry while the garlic fries and potatoes were soaking with oil. Burgers were not impressive. The whole chicken on the menu has a disclaimer that the meal takes 45 minutes to prepare but this should have been a warning for the entire menu as no one in our party ordered the chicken. I was personally very disappointed with the waitstaff as no one apologized or even acknowledged the excessive wait. Just not the best experience overall.

The Q now serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday and the food I had Fried Chicken and corn waffles was perfect. My companion couldn’t stop raving about his Bloody Mary and a special drink oh gin and grapefruit juice. At 11:30 they start serving the regular menu, allowing me choices from their menu of specials, the brunch and regular menu. So many choices do little room. I highly recommend you try brunch at the Q.

Service was great = two stars Total disappointment. Very rarely do my fellow Unilocalers lead me to the wrong location but they did here. The price point is way high and the $$ on Unilocal is misleading. We spent a grip on lunch but the worst part is the taste of the food. We ordered the platter of BBQ for 2 plus 2 sides. Each Tri tip, rib, chicken, pork was very bland & if I could describe the taste it would be pepper? I have no idea if there was a different cook but I now wholly agree with all the bad reviews. Very expensive & not worth the money. I can pick 5 other BBQ places that I would repeat but this place is just not what I was expecting with the outstanding misleading reviews. Mac & Cheese was average very oily but sadly the best part of the menu to over power the pepper sensation. ALLFOOD has that same spicy pepper sensation so if your sensitive this would be a big failure to your stomach & wallet. Let me tell you made out here. The Q and my dog who ate the food we couldn’t bare continuing to inhale bc we were starving.

This place is nice & waiters were nice. Food was ehhh okay. Not super bomb. We had: 1) Ribs: Mine was dry but few of my friends were moist. They liked it but I thought it was okay. 2) Pulled Pork: I had better, but I liked how they had fat on there(lol). 3) BBQ Chicken: Was good, but it was a little red… 4) Brisket: Was good. 5) Mac & Cheese: boring. Had better. 6) Garlic Fries: was ok. 7) Cornbread: Was ok. Just liked eating the crispy edges. Lol 8) Coleslaw: Was ok. The combo plate are big portions that you can pretty much share with someone. If your not trying to get full. I just think this place was too pricy for food that tastes okay.

Apparently, my go-to place for a glass of wine and dinner after a long day at work. Great environment and friendly staff. I love the outside patio, especially with the beautiful weather we’ve been having. They do have a variety on the menu, which is nice. There’s also a tv in the bar, great mixed drinks and a decent wine menu.

This place is consistently excellent. not only do they obviously have awesome BBQ, they have the best fish and chips in town. When ordering the fish and chips tell them Shawn & Shawn sent you. Lol The staff is friendly and attentive too.

We came here on a Saturday around 2:30 after our first wine tasting. When we got here we where seated our waiter came asked if we wanted any beverages, we got the time he return with our water we where ready to order. We order a taste of the Q for two. The Q for two is baby back ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, sausage & coleslaw. The coleslaw was really good and the baby back ribs fall of the bone good, the kind that no meat gets stuck in your teeth. As for the chicken, pull pork, brisket and sausage they where all good but I liked the rib the most. Service was good maybe cause of the time we came in. We will be returning on one of our trips to Napa.

The Q is the go-to for the ultimate fauxcation to the South. Imagine sitting on a bench in marvelous Memphis, sucking on the succulent juices of swine. Perhaps it’ll be a snowy-white day — but it doesn’t feel that way, because by your side is your sweet sidekick(with whom you enjoy the bountiful blessings of southern hospitality). It’s just you, him, and smiles painted with BBQ sauce as you stare affirmatively into the eyes of one another. Smiles that would put Dolly to shame. This is what it’s like. The ribs. The brisket. The chicken. The cole slaw. The pulled pork. The fried pickles. The f*king cornbread!!! The meat simply fell the bone and melted in our mouths. No need for sauce, but if the occasion calls for it, you have a vast selection ready at the table. There’s just no other way to go. Embarrassingly, I cannot recall name of our server(the amazingly tall, jolly fellow) but thank you again for recommending the divine cornbread! It’s dense and moist enough to make you want to blissfully dance in a forest of corn maize, naked. Come here. When you do, bring nothing other than sweatpants with elastic waistbands… It’s about to get real.

OMG i absolutely love this place… enough that i a rocking a 5 star review after only one visit.(there will be more) the restaurant was in a strip mall… hmm…odd the place was quite empty when we arrived(but it was still early ish) my friends were quite sketched on the place… but no time to find something else… we were on a schedule i ordered what was recommended to me by a friend… the vinegar chicken. That is an awful name for a dish… i know it sounds atrocious… but it is the polar opposite… it was devine!!! i swear i still dream of that chicken! at our table we also had ribs and mac n cheese(YUM!!) and steak of some sort. we had a couple bottles of wine… enjoyed =) they were a great help in suggesting wine’s to us. at the end of our meal we asked to purchase some of their Q wine glasses… they brought them to us wrapped in tissue and bagged… and GAVETHEMTOUS! excellent souvenir to take home! ha i guess we spent enough money. thank you Q
