This place is everything that everyone says it is. Fabulous food, service, and ambience. Melt in your mouth croissants, with great salad. Steak so tender and juice with great flavor. No steak sauce needed. And the garlic mash potatoes were fantastic!

This is one of my favorite restaurants and is always dependable. The house salad with fresh, hot croissant is excellent. Service is always fast and cheerful. Steaks and prime rib are really good, as is the baked potato. It’s worth the wait even when crowded.

Second reaction: Wow, this menu is big, quality can’t be good across the board.
Third reaction: Wow, what great service and delicious food.
As someone who is a tourist to Myrtle Beach every 2 or 3 years, my family (plus grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed the food and service and will certainly be back in future beach visits.

As always never disappointed. Best salads anywhere and service is always outstanding.

If you come to Myrtle Beach this needs to be on your stop. The staff was nice and the food was so good.

I was looking for a wow dinner out of town and while I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity I was not surprised by the flavor… just average. My waiter Chase was phenomenal my glass was never half empty and I never wandered where he was.

We stopped here for lunch on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The inside is much larger than I expected from the outside. It has your typical sports bar feel with a large bar in the middle of the restaurant with multiple TV’s setup. Looks like a really good place to watch a game. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I had the prime rib French dip sandwich. It was huge! The meat was really tender and the au jus had a nice flavor. My wife had the turkey club and it was gigantic! Turkey, ham, and a lot of bacon! She was only able to finish half and we ate the leftovers the next day. The meat was still moist and didn’t dry out at all. I was really impressed with just lunch so I would definitely return for dinner.

We came to Myrtle Beach for our 29^th wedding anniversary. We had no idea where to eat but Carolina Roadhouse was the only busy place on Sunday night. Our server was Wesley and he was terrific. He knew the menu well and recommended the Ribeye and Prime Rib. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the PR. Both melted in our mouths. Out of habit I asked for steak sauce, but after the first bite I never touched it. A bottle of wine, great food and a delicious on the house Key Lime Pie made the night. We are only in town for three nights and plan on going back one more time before we head home.

Came across this place based on other Unilocal reviews and was not let down.
The dining room is situated in a large open space with a good sized bar, but even during dinner rush the noise level wasn’t too bad.
The onion rings starter were super thin with an awesome bleu cheese dip. The burger was massive and juicy and seared nicely. The fried shrimp and fries entrée was fresh and not greasy. The hushpuppies that came with the shrimp were so good we ended up ordering a batch to go to snack on later. The only downside was the beer list seemed a bit sparse.
Overall a great chop house with very well prepared food.

I have to admit, I was not looking forward to going there when my friends told me where we were going for dinner. I looked at the menu and the pricing and just wasn’t feeling it. However, I also have to admit, that I’m glad we went!
The croissants given to each person and drizzled with a honey butter and they are hot and delicious. Their house salad was fantastic, as was their house dressing.
My only complaint was their unwillingness to be flexible on customizing my dish. I ordered the fried pork chop, which came with 2 chops and 1 side. I only wanted 1 chop but wanted to have a second side. You’d think that from a financial standpoint they would think, «hmm… Pork chops are more expensive than a scoop of Mac n Cheese, this is a financial win for us!» But no. They said no they would not sub a side for the chop, that is have to pay extra. I wasn’t willing to do that since I wasn’t paying the tab (and sides were like $ 4 each). The other chop just stayed on my plate and got thrown away. Such a waste! Also, there wasn’t any sauce or gravy or anything. I (my friends) had to pay extra for a side of gravy to dip the chop in.
Overall, the food was good and our service was good, and I’d most likely go back if I were in town again.

I have been visiting myrtle beach every year for a couple years now and my cousin has been telling me to go here every year. I finally made my way and it was was defiantly worth it! I got a monster dog — which was definitely mister. The foot long hot dog came piled with chili cheese fries which was far too much food for me to finish alone but it was still worth it! We also got some wings and calamari which were a great. Everyone else got various burgers all seems good!

Awesome food, huge servings, great service! Their menu was simple, but you had plenty of variety to choose from.
I got the Killer Dog and it was big. I couldn’t quite eat the whole thing because the hot dog got really salty at the end, but it was still good. My wife got the whole chicken and it was fall off the bone tender and very good. My boys got shrimp and chicken and they both really enjoyed their meals too.
When we go back to Myrtle Beach, we’ll definitely stop by here again.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and food quality. We had Jessica as our server and she was amazing. Very much on top of everything with perfect timing on checking in with us.
I had the bone in ribeye and it was cooked Philadelphia style (caramelized on the outside and red on the inside – perfect!). The liqueur is served strong, but not too strong. I had a Makers Mark with a splash of Pepsi and it was mixed well.
Others at our table (6 of us) also raved at the food quality and service. We made a point to tell the management how spectacular Jessica was. Also, we noticed that there are a lot of workers there and they all pitch in to keep things running efficiently. They were packed but we got in after calling in 30 minutes ahead of time to be put on the wait list.
If you’re in Myrtle Beach and want to go out to a nice, hip atmosphere with great food and great service, this place is a must. It might be a chain, but I’m sure the management treats it like their own place and trains all staff to do the same.

I really enjoyed myself. Dinner was good. The waiter was very hospitable. Kudos to the chefs/cooks.presentation was wonderful as well. My mom ordered the beef ribs. They were so tender they fell off the bone, just had to recommend them especially.

Arrived on a Monday night after Easter at 7:00. 15 minute wait. However, the service is quick and very attentive.
Started with the onion rings that came with a blue cheese sauce on the side. Outstanding.
Ordered two American burgers and the prime rib sandwich. All were good. Hit a side of mac and cheese that was outstanding.
Only disappointment, the beer selection was week. Very week. However, they had the Indians opening day game on the tv so all is well.

Carolina Roadhouse is THE BBQ place to go to in Myrtle Beach. The number of great reviews and average wait times say it all.
We ordered baby back ribs, bbq chicken breast, aged beef ribs, seafood combo platter, and chicken wings. All were delicious, but the baby back ribs stood apart from the rest. Definitely some of the best food in Myrtle Beach.
Tips:
— Come early to avoid a wait. This place starts to fill up in the summer around 530, even on the weekdays. We came on a Sunday at 5pm and the place was already packed.
— Plenty of parking on the premises
— They also do To Go orders if you don’t mind the wait.
