Ordered two pizzas (larger and small), salad and breadsticks tonight and got our delivery at exactly the hour mark, which is what was quoted for my delivery when I ordered on-​line. Build-​my own salad was good and my kids enjoy the unique breadsticks, but unfortunately the smaller pizza we got tasted and felt like it had been cooked and done a long time ago, likely sitting under a warming light for the majority of the last hour we waited, leaving it dry, tasteless and actually near cold. Seems like they could have timed elements of the order differently. Disappointing.

Ever since Pizza Italia started going downhill this has been my regular place. Nice deal for a slice for lunch. Good takeout pizza too. Their other food isn’t great but you go there for the pizza! I’ve had their wings which are nothing special and their salads are pre-​made taken out of the fridge. This place isn’t anything special but it’s not bad.

Ordered for delivery. Pizza arrived really hot. Cheese and topping are great. Perfect ratio of tomato sauce to cheese/​toppings. Crust? Not sure if we were eating pizza crust or the cardboard box. It was tough and flavorless. If they’d change the crust recipe, this would be the most amazing pizza we’ve had in a long time. Toppings were so good, we’ll probably order again. If they’d just change the crust…

I got the monday special. A (up to) five topping 16″ pizza for about $ 17.25 (after tax).
It’s a whole lot of food and a whole lot of toppings for that price.
The pizza itself was pretty good. Tasty thin crust with a good sauce to cheese ratio. The topping were well portioned and evenly spaced so that each slice tasted as good as the last.
The ingredients themselves were nothing special but it definitely tastes better than most major pizza chains out there.

Underwhelmed Pizza Experience
I may have been expecting more from the reviews that I read. I would say that the pizza was pretty average and nothing to write home about. It’s a step above the fast food franchises but not as good as some other small pizza joints. My wife ordered a deep dish pepperoni pizza. When we brought it home and opened the box up it looked really good. The issue was when we took a bight the pepperoni was nowhere to be found. We decided to dissect a piece and we finally found the pepperoni at the bottom and it was a very thin piece and scattered where it didn’t cover the entire bottom.
We felt a little let down but I guess in a pinch it would do.

I have lived in the Chicago area my whole life and Jimano’s has the best pizza in the area by far.
Even though Chicago is known for their «deep dish pizza» their thin crust pizza is to die for. They use fresh ingredients and always have great coupons to use.
As a matter of fact I even worked at one of the other locations so I got to see them actually make the pizzas. They make sure every square inch is used with toppings and make every pizza with extra care.
Jimano’s is the best!

Excellent Pizza and Amazing Ribs… yes the Ribs are awesome. Fall off the bone good. I would still go if I lived closer. If you live in Mundelein or Vernon Hills, definately check it out.

I love Jimano’s. The meat maniac pizza is delicious. We live in Round Lake, and the one near us just got bought by someone new who offered 50% off pizzas for like 2 months — and put on about 50% of the toppings as well. :| So now, we make the 7 mile trek to the one by Target in Mundelein, which makes pizzas the same delicious way the Round Lake one used to.

Definitely a fan of Jimanos beef sandwich. I’ve had their pizza before and liked it. Think I like Bills or Emils a little better in Mundelein. Ordered a beef sandwich today and got free cheese with it! Technically the order was wrong but I like cheese.

Was staying at my sisters, and we ordered pizza from this place.
She said it was pretty good, and I’ll bet it would have been if we got it within an hour of when we ordered.
It took almost an hour and a half to get there and it was cold, chewy and had very few toppings on it. The driver was rude (despite my $ 8 tip), and they screwed up the order (they forgot the onions).
Epic fail, Jimanos. Suffice it to say I’ll never eat there again.

Admittedly, I had high expectations for Jimano’s. However, I tried their thin crust pizza and it was not up to par, in my opinion. Like so many pizzeria’s, the problem is with the crust. Jimano’s thin pizza crust is too soft and doughy. I think if they made their crust a bit thinner and crisper, it would greatly improve. They also need to be a little more generous with their toppings, which is the only thing that saved them from getting a lower score. But, the first item to tackle the crust — a bit too much like Domino’s (which I don’t even classify as pizza).
