Supercuts

My daughter and I were long overdue for a trim so we stopped by this supercuts location because it was pretty close to where we were.
First, they were very friendly. It was nice being greeted and they were really sweet to my daughter and I.
HOWEVER, the services they provided were less than average. For my daughter, she got a shampoo, cut and blow dry and she was finished in about 10 minutes. When her hair was dry, I noticed that it was still uneven so I asked for her hair to be evened out. The hairstylist who was super sweet kept complimenting me about how cute my daughter was and how great her hair looked and kind of dismissed the fact the hair was uneven. I asked her to even it out so she did but she didn’t put a cape on and small little hairs went everywhere on my daughter’s clothes and back. She didn’t use a comb to even it out but just kind of snipped at the ends of the hair to get it straight. It is still not even but she said, «I’m not perfect but that’s about as perfect as I can get it.» I wasn’t looking for it to be completely perfect, just some time and effort to make it as even as possible would have been nice.
For myself, I did NOT ask for the shampoo and dry but my stylist still took me to the sink and wet my hair (and while she was trying to gather my hair back, she got her finger stuck in my mouth on the way back and only apologized because I mentioned something) because she said it would take too long to spray my hair down to cut it because it’s long and thick. My hair is not too thick but it is pretty long. BUT it is the winter time and super cold outside so it seems inconsiderate to me to wet my whole head to save her some time and then send me out into the winter cold. Had she used the spray bottle, my hair would have had more time to dry as she cut it and it wouldn’t be soaked. When I asked to perhaps get a little more cut, she said she thought it was fine as it is but relented.
All in all, very nice ladies but very poor customer service. It seemed like they wanted to get done as quickly as possible and didn’t want to do much work. I know a trim doesn’t require a huge change but the effort and results were subpar. Online it said every cut gets a hot towel but when I asked about it, the stylist said they only do that for men or for guests who got shampooed and blow dried (which my daughter did but she did NOT get a hot towel service) I am pretty disappointed and won’t be returning.

not too expensive but gave me a fast good cut. I was just travelling through but if I lived in the area I would defnitely go back.

I just got my hair cut today and have to say the service was great. Alisa got to me quickly and was extremely nice and did a great job. I will repeat and would highly recommend going to Alisa!

Only place I go to get my hair cut, have been going for three years. Alisa does an awesome job.
I tried barbers and salons one after the other and they wouldn’t do the job the right way no matter what the cost. I got sick of trying new places and had a coupon for Super Cuts and went there three years ago. Luckily I got Alisa and she finally did it the right way.
Highly recommend her!

Fantastic customer service by Alisa! She does a great job with color, haircuts, and even waxing your eyebrows.
She even talked my teenager into getting his haircut short! Thank you Alisa you are the best and I will keep coming back to see you.

Let me just say I came here for the first time 3 years ago few times then stopped. I just went few weeks ago real fast to clean up my sides. Well, I had the worst experience she had the Buzzer/​shaver in a up and down motion so far away from my head I felt she was going to miss buzzing my sides but it really hurt my head. I go to Sport Clips and the girls there take it easy on your head and make sure all the long hairs are gone. Damn, I had to fix my hair after I left this place. I will never go there again even for a fast clean up. Hell, Sport Clips is worth every penny even if I spend over $ 23 bucks.

For people tired of spending lots of money on over priced haircuts and highlights, look no further! Gia from supercuts in mundejlein is your answer. Not only is she very talented with haircutting and styling, her highlights are the best! On top of it all, they are supercut prices! I have paid for lots of high priced salon haircuts and highlights and feel that Gia is the best stylist i have ever had!

I’m not sure of the woman’s name who cut my hair, but she did an awesome job and did it really quickly. I had a mop on my head and she turned me into a somewhat decent looking guy.
You can get a coupon for Supercuts if you go to Dominick’s and look on the back of your receipt. My haircut was for $ 7.99! It’s also nice that if you have a long wait you can go next door to Subway or TJ Maxx.
