Must have spicy noodles! So delicious! Also, grab a punch card if your a local! May come in handy!

Very good. I had the drunken noodles scallops and it was wonderful. Not a large place but a nice clean family owned dining location. I recommend!

This was my first time here so I’ve only had one thing on the menu. I had the Panang Curry with chicken and white rice and it was very delicious and very spicy. I will come back to try out some of the other items.

The food was good. The stars are based on the service. I think they must have been understaffed? Other patrons were waiting for servers to order /pay for checks. So much so that they went straight to the hostess from their tables. That wasn’t such a big deal for us since we were getting to go. However, we still needed to wait 30 minutes for 3 takeout orders! Pineapple curry was nom. Half of it was stolen by a scavenger, so I guess it must have been good.

I love Thai food and I love this place! I have been so unimpressed with many Thai restaurants lately. Thai House will not disappoint if you are looking for quality! They do not cut corners with their dishes. For example: Their curries are made with coconut milk– for real. Not watered down with added oils like so many places do! Also, they don’t skimp out on chicken and basil like many other places do. Their Phad Thai is loaded with flavors and extras that most any Thai restaurant doesn’t take the time to do anymore! I used to work at a Thai restaurant that used to be good. Sadly, it went downhill like so many do. This place will not disappoint and you’ll get your money’s worth. I stop here EVERYTIME I come to town for work. Check it out!

The food was ok but the Orange Chicken I ordered didn’t even come with rice, it cost extra. Plus the portion size seemed small.

This is a review for the vegetarian options only. The service was great and the atmosphere awesome, but we’ve had quite our share of vegetarian/vegan food and this just didn’t cut it. We got the sweet and sour tofu which on the menu was described as «must get.» I honestly hated it. I didn’t even feel like the sweet and sour part tasted that great and the tofu was barely fried and boring. Luckily we are just passing through, but if you want good veg Thai food, definitely go elsewhere.

(4÷18÷2015) We were meandering through the Tulip Festival Street Fair and it was nearing dinner time. Got the Pad Thai and Chicken Satay combo, I love me some chicken on a stick. For street food from a chafing dish it wasn’t bad, a touch sweet(but that’s the way Americans like it), noodles were broken, probably had been in that dish for a little while, but I did appreciate the traditional Thai sweet pickled turnips in the dish. Chicken was well-seasoned, also had been out a bit, but was still pretty tasty. Surprisingly no Sriracha, but the Thai crushed red pepper and sambal were plenty hot. The plate was all right, a touch pricey(taking advantage of the tourists). If I lived there I’d stop back in to try the real food.

I wouldn’t take my worst enemy to this restaurant. The service was fine, waitstaff friendly enough. The crab rangoon was obviously taken directly from the freezer and the spring rolls were so over cooked, I nearly chipped a tooth. The chicken in both the pad thai and coconut curry was cooked beyond recognition. Now, on to the bad part… After eating I made the awful mistake of visiting the restroom. My shoes stuck to the floor and there were no paper towels to wipe my hands which I really wanted to give a proper scrubbing after using the disgusting facility. I’ve seen cleaner restrooms at camp grounds frankly. $ 60 later, I’m in the car wondering when the entire family will be struck with food poisoning. I strongly urge you to eat elsewhere.

The food is fantastic. I had Sizzling Duck and my companion had the spicy clams. Both were excellent. But the service was atrocious. Never did get my beer. They seem to be focused on their takeout business rather than serving tables. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

This place is the stingiest restaurant in the world — who charges for extra sauce or hot sauce? Who doesn’t give rice with a curry? Disappointed. The waitress couldn’t understand an american accent and was rude about it. Would not recommend this place to anyone

I love this place! Great food and quiet atmosphere. Not a place I’d bring my kids since they are young and can be noisy. Good place for a girls night out. The bathrooms are sketchy though!

Great Thai food! Much prefer Thai House to the other Thai restaurant in downtown Mount Vernon. Their food has lots of flavor and is not greasy. We particularly like the Tom Kai soup, chicken skewers, and Green Curry. Friendly service and reasonably priced too!

Just go to Rachawadee. Thai House is Average at best. I come through Mt. Vernon quite often driving from Seattle to Bellingham. Unfortunately Rachawadee was closed and we came here. Chicken was overcooked, 2 stars had no spice and the phad Kee Mao was very bland. They skimped on the veggies. Also I asked for a side of rice and it never came. Again, just go to Rachawadee. It will blow you away.

This used to be my go to thai place in MV before I moved. Always super friendly with great service. The lunch specials were always affordable, big, and delicious. I love their pad thai, very authentic. With the pickled radish, small cubed tofu, and tamarind based sauce. Their peanut sauce is always a favorite too, always ordered a side with white rice. Their curries and stir fries were standbys as well. Do check out this place if you’re in MV, a solid meal.

What a nice surprise! I come to Mt Vernon to visit family, I have learned that this little town has some great place to eat but did not expect a good Thai restaurant in downtown Mt Vernon. Though the downtown MT Vernon has potential to be a cute place most of the stores are empty, that’s why it’s a surprise to find such a great place. We ordered Chicken satay, came with a really tasty cucumber salad and peanut sauce, phad see yew noddles, green curry with tofu, and golden garlic. Everything was very tasty. My favorite was the golden garlic we ordered it with chicken. I like my Thai food more spicy but I still enjoyed the food. It had decent portions. Service was great, we came for lunch and it wasn’t so busy. The décor was pretty authentic Thai. I would definitely come back!
