Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service. Asian 1 has the best Pad Thai in the Valley. My boyfriend loves their curry dishes. A must try, I know you’ll enjoy it.

Good for lunch and dinner. Lunch specials come with soup, salad, rice and your main dish. Dinners are just your main dish. They have sushi Wednesday thru I think Saturdays. Food, staff and atmosphere has always been great!

This place has gone downhill fast. Waited over 15 minutes to order drinks. Another 10 minutes to get water and beverages. Over 30 minutes and we are finally ordering our food. Service staff was really stressed and not personal. Overall our plan for a quick meal for 3 people took over an hour and ½. Food was so-so. Way over MSG. Service HORRIBLE. Won’t recommend.

Had business to take care of in the neighborhood. Ask where would be a good place to grab lunch. And this recommendation came with very high marks. Was under the assumption that most Asian restaurants of this magnitude are pretty much the same. Boy was I wrong. The place did not I repeat did not smell like Grease. When you walked into the building you are immediately greeted. The staff was quick to seat. The floor was not dirty. There were no cobwebs anywhere that we could see. The windows are clean with no food debris from small children on them. The pictures and various displays or very tasteful. There wasn’t the over sound of clanging of dishes loud talking or anything of that nature. I was truly impressed. We were quickly served by our waitress. She alerted us to the happy hour that was going on. The menu was easy to read and understand. We asked our waitress for her recommendations and she was free to give us her opinion which we appreciate it. When our food came out the servings were very generous. The plates were very nice. Very very presentable. Shortly after the plates were delivered our waitress came back to ask us if we enjoyed what we were served. He said yes. She left us alone and came back within a reasonable amount of time to find out if we need anything else. Overall this place is very very nice. I would recommend this place if you’re in the area. Even though we live about a half hour from this location… This will be our go-to when we want this type of cuisine.

Went to my usual favorite place and was not Disappointed, Nina awesome server and bartender had a slight issue with my food that would have been no big deal but I had some major dental work done and she completely understood and made sure it was perfect! Great management great servers! Hands down my favorite place to eat! The honey glazed chicken or prawns a favorite Also the Mongolian beef, sushi and lettuce wraps. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service!!!

If you’re someone or know someone looking for a very nice inexpensive place to eat, I’d highly recommend Asain 1! I’ve been going to Asain 1 since it first opened up here in Burlington and it is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat at and even go to for birthday dinners! Their pad thai, honey glazed chicken, and mongolian beef is to die for and I’d say it is definitely worth a try if you’re there. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing! Give it a try sometime!

Don’t let the generic name fool you, this place is good to go! The décor is well done, nice wood tables and seats. The other possible turn off besides the name is that they do multiple cuisines, and although I didn’t try each, I can tell you they have an excellent Thai Panang chicken. So 5 stars for the Panang and atmosphere. I can say its well worth a try, again, all signs point to No, but it has consistent reviews here on Unilocal and they are well deserved.

Always be skeptical of a place that serves: Thai/Chinese/Vietnamese/Sushi out of the same kitchen. It is like going to a lawyer that specializes in motorcycle injury, patent filing, and workers rights. Mongolian beef is okay. Too crispy. $ 14 Pineapple fried rice is decent. $ 12

After about 9 months of abstinence from Asian 1, my wife and I stopped in for dinner Monday evening. We were pleasantly surprised! Our last experience was miserable(see below). But we had a completely different experience on Monday. First of all, our server — Kelli — did a great job. She was attentive without being intrusive. And all of the other Asian 1 employees seems to be on top of things as well — there wasn’t anyone standing around chatting, ignoring customers. Our appetizer — lettuce wraps with chicken — was great. And our entrees — Pineapple Fried Rice and Sweet & Sour Chicken — were amazing, too. Everything was tasty, and the pineapple fried rice was enough for an entire meal the next day! Asian 1 has definitely made its way back into our ‘dining out’ rotation! The food has always been really good, but now it seems like service quality is matching that of the food.

I wanted to like this place. The menu sounded good, reviews were good — no such luck. 1. The tea was Stash — whatever happened to generic oriental restaurant tea. 2. The spring rolls(mistakenly called egg rolls in the menu) were tasteless. 3. Ordered the rice noodles with vegetables and got a bowl of soup. The noodles were rice, good, but since they were extra wide and sitting in a soy/rice vinegar/sesame oil sort of broth, they were gummy. The vegetables were fresh but the spice was all in the broth. On many fronts, not as expected. The level of heat was timid to say the least. 4. The other person at our table ordered the veg and tofu and it was totally tasteless. 5. The server seemed annoyed at us not loving the food. If you like Americanized oriental food, you will probably love this place. For us, another place not to go to.

I eat all types of Asian food on a regular basis, so I have a decent idea of what good and bad is. While there’s nothing wrong with what we had here, it definitely wasn’t really good. Service was really good, waiters were both nice and attentive, restaurant appeared clean as well. However my Pad Thai was not all that great, I ordered a «4» which is supposed to be the spiciest, however it tasted like ketchup mixed with a small amount of Sriracha. Anyways, it’s okay, but definitely not a place I’ll be going if I want some good Thai.

This was my 2nd visit to Asian 1. The first was a late lunch, this time being dinner. The service has something to be desired. I was told by the company that invited me that this was not the«normal» crew as they frequent here. I ordered the orange chicken which when upon presentation looked nothing like the photo on the menu. The chicken was battered, deep fried and dry when placed before me. I asked(twice) for a sweet and sour type of sauce and I was told it would be $ 4 for about what was 4oz of watery sweet sauce equalling sugar and soy sauce of the sort. I then dove in expecting tender chicken — what I bit into was a hard piece of leather. Disappointing! This reminds me of the frozen battered chicken strips you buy at the grocery store that have been cooked and left out on the stove for a few hours. The broccoli, carrots and celery were also undercooked and unedible. The Thai tea and the company was the best part of the visit. I had asked for a separate check for my meal and when my part of the bill came I was charged $ 27! The waiter had taken it upon himself to charge me for half of my company’s appetizers. I did not order these! I asked him why it was on my bill and he said he thought I was going to eat some of them and split the cost!!! Really? The party I was with had paid the entire cost of the same appetizers on their bill. They were humble and we packed up and left. The food is overpriced and the service was lacking this evening. I work hard for my money and this is not a place I will revisit.

The food is delicious. The only place that has the best Thai/Asian food with the right amount of spice! The atmosphere is remarkable. Kelly attended our table and she was the sweetest thing ever. I love the customer service out here and the crew behind the kitchen does the best job ever! It’s my family’s favorite spot! You will not regret it!

This is the most amazing Asian food I have ever had, everything on the menu I can vouch for because I have tried it all and nothing has ever let me down… As for the wait staff they are super friendly and always on point with first timers, with great recommendations on your first dishes! Hope this helped make your decision for Asian 1 goodness!!! P.S they have a happy hour on everything in the restaurant from 3 – 5 Act now…

Two words: Pad Thai. Outstanding pad Thai here! The atmosphere is trendy Asian and there is a full bar set up in the middle with the dining area surrounding it. Service is hit and miss, but their food is with returning for! This place is pretty decent as far as upscale Asian food in Burlington goes!
