Every plate served looks terrific. This is true Italian and the right care in preparation is done to make a great meal.

The meatballs and pizza were acceptable. But I hate the lettering on menu was atrocious. The décor is «meh» and lacks cohesion. The cheese fell of my pizza because they put the cheese layer on top of a piece of basil. I was also extraordinarily thirsty probably because of the salty yet delicious meatballs and sauce. We also had to wait 45 minutes when they said it would only be 20. Overall experience was positive but these few issues really put a damper on the evening for me.

Came on a busy Saturday night. There was a wait to put your name down to wait-became extremely backed up because both hostesses were seating guests and no one was at the front managing the backed up crowd. Food was good. Split the Arcadian salad and meatballs with marinara to start with my boyfriend and we both ordered pizzas to share-white clam pie and truffle prosciutto pie. Apps were great but our pizzas came 2 seconds after our apps and we had no room to keep them on the table/weren’t even close to being done with apps and didn’t want our pizza sitting out and getting cold. Our waiter took our pies back and new pies were made when we finished our apps. The truffle prosciutto pie was amazing but the white clam pie was so-so; it had an overwhelmingly lemon-y taste to it that completely overpowered the pie. Glad we came to try it out but there are way better pizza places to go to in the area.

This place is amazing! No matter what you order, they don’t disappoint. Most recently, we had the eggplant ptarmigan coal fire pizza, turkey meatballs w moz And vodka sauce, and the antipasto salad. We want to bottle up the dressing… it’s phenomenal!!!

Everything is spectacular! Best meatballs and the vodka sauce is out of this world! The signature coal fired pie with pepperoni added is amazing. Great crust, amazing mozzarella cheese! Also the house salad is fear. Light but very flavorful dressing and has deeeeelicious mozzarella cheese chunks and tomatoes at the bottom. BYOB.

We’ve been here a few times so decided it’s time to make my comments official. This place has a great vibe and atmosphere to it and a great place for groups. The name does it justice it’s a meatball /meat lover place. We started with the parmesan meatballs which where delicious! The mozzarella meatballs looked tempting but luckily enough our waitress warned us that those are just meatballs with fresh mozzarella on the side, the parm ones have the cheese melted on top. Next we opted for one veggie pizza and one meat pizza to complement our meatballs. The veggie pizza was a big mistake. For everything tasting so fresh the veggies on the pizza tasted like they were from a can and the quality of that pizza dropped down to a 1. Once you take into account that 4 slices of that pizza cost $ 20 it drops down to negative digits. If you’re going to venture here avoid disappointment and stick to the meatballs and choose your pizza wisely.

Couldn’t be more happy with their service and food! We went when I t was an absolute blizzard the roads were closed going to NYC and every restaurant around was closed but they stayed open and bared the weather! The pizza and meatballs were amazing! Will defiantly recommend!!!

Close to being 5 stars… Very comfortable and homey interior. Food was excellent. Coal fired pizza was incredible. Our server was really good and offered to explain the menu. I will definitely be back. A couple of negatives: I ordered a $ 3.75 Diet Coke and it was served in a tiny little bottle. Had to have been about 10 ounces. For $ 3.75, I would hope for a fountain drink with a refill. Another pet peeve of mine — one I can’t believe restaurant owners allow… Staff playing on their cell phones while in sight of guests. A whole lotta that going on here. Again — great atmosphere and awesome food. This place will continue to be successful.

We absolutely love the Millie’s signature pie. It’s our staple every time we go. We try to order one new thing to try each time we go and often still gravitate toward a pesto pie(either the coal fired pesto with a thicker crust or the wood fired pesto with ricotta which has a light airy crust). Both are excellent. Our service is always amazing, with several of the waiters remembering us and our favorites. Peter, the manager, makes our experience great every time we’re there. Salads are all unique; our favorites are the chopped salad and the arcadian mix. We highly recommend Millie’s for the best pizza in Morristown. Bar none.

You guys raised your prices again??? $ 27 this time for a meatball pie and almost $ 12 for 3 meatballs? I am definitely done at this point and I hope other people follow as well so you come back to your senses. At this point the food is not worth the prices. Take your business to the other byo’s until they come back down.

Since 2013, we have visited here several times and have always had consistently bad service. The food is good enough to keep us going back, but the service just sucks. Funny enough, the bad service is not just in the restaurant, but with delivery also. We ordered a pie and were told it would take 45 minutes. Okay, we planned accordingly. After an hour we had not received pie and I called. We were told the lady did not see it sitting there so it must be out. It certainly seems they would have a better«tracking» service. Another 30 minutes and we still did not have the pie, so we called to cancel order. The manager did offer to provide it complimentary, but my husband was so perturbed he did not even want it. He has now put this on the banned restaurant list. We tried and tried, but it seems service is not a priority and there are too many other places in the area.

Pizza is ok. The cheese is not great. The source is OK. the bread is just OK. I’m not saying I did not enjoy the pizza I just don’t think it’s in the same category as others I reviewed. They claim it’s a coal oven. Difficult to believe

I came here with a very large party one Sunday afternoon and let me tell you… the service was GREAT, the food came out im a timely manner, and the Meatballs were OUTSTANDING. A few highlights include the following: — Vodka meatballs — MUSTmust order — marinara meatballs — so delicious — House salad — VERY delicious — Arugula salad — so delicious — Millie’s signature pie on the thin crust — MUSTORDER — The thick crust is also amazing — I also tried the pesto pie — but nothing crazy i would suggest Mille’s signature before anything else. Our waiter was super friendly and got out order in right away. All in all, a place you must try for the meatballs and thin crust pie !!!

I am not a pizza lover. I’m picky. And a pain in the ass. I’m under the belief that 95% of the pizza served is cardboard with melted Polly o string cheez. This place is not that. Solid delivery of fresh pies. It arrives hot with a crunchy crust, not that steamed in the box nastiness. My go to is the signature pie. Not a homogenous experience, but a well dispersed cheez to sauce ratio. Meatballs are great as well. The ricotta n meatballs is a good side with the pizza… Great for dipping the crust into.

Such a disappointment!!! Morristown is known to a cute town with cute shops and great restaurants. Millies left me desiring everything I walked in wanting. Ugh, I hate when that happens. Millies has a cute charm to it. Once you walk in, you feel all warm and you feel as though this is spot is going to be awesome. The décor here gets you. Between the red kitchen and the lightening this place is jazzed up! Needless to say, the pizza does not live up to the décor. We ordered two large pies, the millie special(cheese pizza really) and the meatball pie since its called Millie’s Old world MEATBALLS and all. Honestly, the pizza just wasn’t good. The meatball pie was extremely heavy and the dough was soggy; the cheese pie was decent but def not worth 20 bucks. There were two good things about this place, their arugula salad was delish, and our waitress was extremely nice. Otherwise, I’d pass on this spot. There are way better options on South Street.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. My husband loves pizza, I like pizza. With that said, Mille’s was terrific. Andy our server was friendly and informative. Our food was terrific, leftovers even better. We had an incredible salad with Gorgonzola cheese that was gigantic and delicious. Enough to to feed four as a nice appetizer. Then we moved on to pesto pizza and Millie’s traditional pizza. Both were just perfect. To top off the evening, Nutella pie, indescribable. We will be back. I hear they serve pasta on Sunday!

I knew this place would be a game changer when I found myself eating the entire crust off my pizza and wanting more. We couldn’t decide between coal-fired vs. wood-fired so we got one of each. Millie’s Meatball Parmesan coal fired pizza was life changing. The sauce and meatball were packed with flavor and the cheese was melted to perfection. The crust is what made me realize this place was unlike any other. The outside was crispy but the inside was warm and really doughy. Usually I find crust to be either too thin and crunchy or thick but hard to chew. We also ordered their Arcadian Mix Salad which blew my mind. The apricot vinaigrette, bacon, and candied walnuts really complimented each other well. We came for my mom’s birthday and were surprised with a large cannoli(my all-time favorite pastry!). The gesture was lovely and the cannoli cream was great but the actual shell was very chunky. We wanted to split it in half but ended up pressing too hard and smashing it. Still very delicious regardless! A little pricey but the quality is outstanding. It’s BYOB and has a classy feel to it so it’s a great place to go for a special night out.

Well, we had another amazing, delicious pizza… …and more delayed, amateur, groan-worthy service. I keep coming back, hoping and praying the service gets better so that I can give Millie’s the 5-stars it deserves for its pizza. But today is sadly not the day. Our waitress was cute and sweet and bubbly but also seemed all of 16-years-old, and spent more time flirting with the other waiters and checking her phone than coming to see if we needed anything. Which we did. And I felt embarrassed for everyone involved when she apologized for how long our pizza was taking, citing that«the kitchen was backed up.» My daughter and I were two of six people in the restaurant. *covers eyes* Come on Millie’s, you can do this! I am rooting for you. Hire older, more experienced and more professional waitstaff and cooks, and I’ll be back in a month or so to give you your 5! I truly want to see this restaurant stick around, and in Morristown — that only happens when the food AND the service is top notch.

What a nice looking and large location! I heard about the Millie’s Old World Pizza, they have both a Wood Oven & Coal Ovens? What, the brothers couldn’t agree? Grandma said Coal! Yeah well Uncle Louie always used Wood! Regardless of the ovens, here is my issue with Millie’s Old World Meatballs. They don’t take into consideration a good lunch special for one person. I’m looking at the menu, I’d like to try their signature Meatballs and a salad or maybe a small pizza and a salad or a meatball sandwich and a side salad. Brothers, do you see where I’m going with this, smaller portions for lunch! I did want to try their signature pie made in the coal oven(Sorry Uncle Louie and the Wood side of the family) Topped with peeled tomatoes that are sautéed with garlic and homemade mozzarella, its a pizza that needs investigation. The small $ 16 pizza comes out and its huge! I can’t eat this entire thing for lunch, I had to take half of it home. And what I did have was a thick pizza. It was seriously, like a Chicago style pizza, very heavy on the dough. I would have loved to drink a beer with my pizza but Millie’s is dry, its BYOB! My pizza was good, if you’re looking for a small pizza for lunch? Bring a buddy
