They got their ish together and the last time I ordered it was quick, delicious, and issue free. Previous review: Ordered 1 large cheese pizza and 1 large pepperoni at 6:50pm on a Tuesday night. Was told it would take 40 minutes. It got here at 8:20pm and I got two pepperoni. They need to get their ish together. Never ordering from here again. So many better places within a 1 mile radius.

Quite surprised to see so many negative comments about delivery here! I’ve found Mario’s to not only deliver on time(usually a little early), but the delivery staff are also friendly and quick to call if they have any issues. As for the food, the pizza is the best in town, not drenched in oil like some places. I’d recommend the subs too!

Hey folks, just saw some bad reviews on Google so posted there… figured let me do the same here… As some know, there’s no Mario… Mike is the owner and has been family run for almost 2 decades. Great seeing his son grow up helping and now a big kid working pop… Sorry to see folks w/such horrible delivery service experiences. Can’t say it surprises me though. I’ve ordered delivery for over 15 years. Usually at least 30 min but not more than 40 and I’m just 2 miles away or so… Held a kid Birthday Party and local Hotel one year and they were almost 2 hours late. F’d the whole party up. And yes, at the time, Mike’s wife wasn’t the most customer services person on the phone. I was pissed. We didn’t order from them again for a while… Their pizza, really best in Morris Plains for sure and any place that delivers nearby. They do have a light crust, that’s crispy on the outside and yet nicely slightly chewy inside… Read comments about their sauce, but that’s one of the reasons why we like them so much… in the Summer we really notice the fresh basil in their sauce. Not sure about Winter… Its NOT heavily seasoned w/Italian spices, which we actually like. I don’t like heavy oregano sauce… and you wont find that here… So good crust, good sauce, and their cheese is nice. Some places you see a pool of redish oil floating on top indicating cheap quality cheese. Garlic knots are awesome and Mike usually tosses them in for me when I pickup. Cheese steak is definitely one of the subs I order from them and really like, w/the works… My daughter loves their chicken fingers which is simply standard frozen long chicken fingers that kids love fried… They do charge for delivery… which sucks… I think a 3.75 is where they are at based on my above feedback. P. S. — Eggplant Cheese pie… yummmm w/Sriracha sauce… but you’ll need that from your own fridge…

Decided to come here because of great Unilocal reviews… BUT ended up being more expensive than the menu on their website and the service took forever. The food is good but hard to enjoy when your bread doesn’t even come until you’re done with your entrée

Avoid the buffalo chicken pizza… It’s just crust and extremely hot chicken… That’s coming from someone that likes hot food… Sometimes less is more Mario

If you’re gluten free you have to try their gluten free pizza! I’ve been dreaming about it ever since I had it last week. It is a thin crust and crisp.

Solid pizza. Although there are plenty of other pizza joints in Madison, Florham Park, & East Hanover, we found this one to be better than any others.

This IS the best pizza in NJ. Try the plain cheese. If you are not from the area, and I am not, it is worth the trip. If you are seeking to try the best pizza, this is the place. The only pizza that comes close is Pizza Town in Elmwood Park, but that is a different style.

Right in the area, and the best eggplant pizza hands down! I mean you may feel like you are carrying a 9lb baby when you are about to take the last bite of you slice but its well worth the it!

All I can say is WOW! I was in morris plains looking for a delivery pizza, so glad I called Mario’s. The food showed up fresh and hot and the price was not too bad($ 30 with a tip for Medium pizza, buffalo wings, and a FATCATSUB. Let’s start with the pizza, nice thin slices with a tasty sauce and perfect cheese blend. The wings were cooked well, however the mild sauce was not what I’m used too back home. The sauce was a little thick and had hints of teriyaki. Again they were tasty, just more of a BBQ sauce than a buffalo wing sauce. Now let’s get to the FATCAT, this is a cheesesteak sub with French fries and mozzarella fried cheese sticks, all in the sandwich wrapped up with a delicious fresh roll and blanked with hot melted cheese. So happy I found this place, because everytime I’m near morris plains, I will be getting Mario’s.

Not bad but not great. Ordered a Caesar salad and a pizza with fresh mozzarella. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side and the mozz wasn’t anything great.

THE best pizza in town! Any other pizza place owners can contact me if you want to challenge my statement! We had a meat lover, topped with ground beef(contains cumin), extra cheese, ham and sausage, thing crust of course. It taste like no others. The price is a little bit high($ 18 after tax). I highly recommend this place and will try other items on their menu later.

I’ve ordered from this place almost every week. Even though ppl said«way to expensive«I still continued to go back. Needless to say the staff is so rude when placing order-they have forgotten parts of our delivery-told us 45 mins wait and we got food in1 hour and 25 mins-could go on with other instances but tonight was the last straw-they lied to us about pricing&we had to actually return the cold pie&the sloppy tasteless soup-room full of ppl bc they were waiting bc Marios cant handle Volume… the food IS good but the service is horrible… the actual owner was cool until last night stating all there problems they have done in our orders was my fault. .there are only so many times a customer can give a restaurant a chance …$ 31 for a small pie and soup…$ 2.50 for delivery and they never tell u that or put it on the receipt??? And i tip them too? Now i know why so many told me they had bad experiences and to try loveys and tonys… def will… even tho owner insists ‘youll b back’…yeahhhhh right lol

I LOVE this restaurant… the food is absolutely out of this world good and the staff is very friendly and efficient. They are very attentive to their customers. There are two sides of the restaurant, one a casual take out pizza place complete with tables and chairs and the other side is a BYOB dining in, more upscale restaurant. Small restaurant but a gem!
