I would like to give 5 stars for the food because is excellent, but I would like to give –5, because of the service, last week I went and order and there was this two guys inside the glass the ones the make the pizza I guess, they were making fun of the waiter, the waiter was a young kid around 17 he seem to have a health problem and he was a lil slow that was ok, I didn’t have a problem with that, the problem I had was the two guy making fun of him, and the worst was when I had to pay I had to leave the tip in a jar next to the cash register and couldn’t give it to the kid not fair

THEYGETNOSTARSFROMME — I ordered pizza from here yesterday in the blizzard. We were so excited to find a place that was serving food in such bad weather conditions. Unfortunately, we underestimated how long it would take for us to get there. After shoveling our door step, driveway, and trying to drive there; we had to walk. Sadly, it took us about an hour although he said 20 minutes. I understand that we took 40 minutes longer, but after walking in the cold windy snow we arrived to a CLOSED pizza place. YES A CLOSEDPIZZAPLACE. I understand the weather conditions, but a phone call would have been nice. I am more aggravated because we when confronted them today about the situation WEWEREYELLEDAT by a worker. He expressed that it’s not his responsibility to contact us about their closing. WHYDOYOUTAKEMYNUMBER!!! He continued to yell at us about how it was our fault it took so long and if we are unhappy than don’t come back. Well Mr. I won’t come back and I hope others don’t either. We didn’t expect money or anything; just next time call us and let us know if you unexpectedly close. That’s nothing crazy to ask we thought. Never again and I promise to never let my friends or co workers order pizza from there. Just a side note: we are both school teachers, who work with a lot of kids, I will never recommend another parent in your direction again. I usually recommend this place for school events, dance events, birthday parties, and etc. When I return back to my jobs I will share this information with all of the parents and staff members at my jobs. You just lost a lot of business over a simple phone call.

I moved to Morris Plains about six months ago and this has become my go-to place for takeout pizza. It’s much more than decent: the firm crust lets the large slices maintain their shape as you hold them, and the flour balances out the cheese and toppings, like it’s supposed to. Pizza can go wrong when the cheese tastes like cardboard or when toppings are blandly prepared. Here, I feel like I’m getting my calories’ worth from every bite. And it’s very inexpensive. For me the highlights are their signature garlic knots and their pan crust. The garlic knots are just fun to eat. There’s way more diced garlic on them than I’ve ever seen in any preparation, and if you get them fresh they’ll be gone before you know it. The pan crust is exemplary: crisp with cheese baked in on top, and so delicious. The barbecue chicken on pan crust was by far the favorite at my last house party. I’ve also had their standard crust, both in personal and medium sizes. The personal size has a narrower crust and thinner crust than a standard pizza, so the cheese and toppings become more prominent. In contrast, the medium size is better balanced. Buy a full-size pie and then just try to ration it out if you want the optimal experience(but then who can resist having that much pizza in the fridge?). What this place is not is a pizza place for foodies. It’s good weeknight pizza. If you’re looking for intricately blended flavors with inventive topping combinations, or a perfect crust that’s crispy on the outside and gives way to moistness on the inside, I get you, but you’re going to be disappointed. Try Millie’s on South Street(the prices go up accordingly).

Great food and generous servings. Service is sometimes slow. Lunch menu less than $ 10.

Second time writing this… thanks Unilocal! Ok…so last night we went here and got a giant antipasto which was generous and had tons and tons and tons of wrapped cheese and ham on the top of it… it was good and tasty, etc. but the waitress forgot our dressing. It came near the end of our demolition of this salad. It actually did not need dressing in fact. I took off two stars because of my meatball parm which did not have enough sauce and also seemed a bit dry for some reason. When the parm seems to be mostly bread, I kind of notice that. It’s a very popular restaurant in Morris Plains and the food is almost always good.

Went here for dinner tonight & the chicken was like pure rubber. I’m sure if I threw it on the ground, it would’ve bounced. Really a disappointment because I’ve been to this place so many times and the food is usually pretty good… I think I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

Pan pizza was great! Regular cheese slice and Sicilian were not bad, however I’ve had much better. I would for sure go back for a pan pizza and possibly try a dinner there. The staff was not too welcoming except for the counter guy… There was a mustache gang in the back… Couldn’t figure that one out. Overall decent pizzeria. And reasonably priced.

I went to this restaurant based on the reviews I read, I was greatly disappointed. We had pizza and garlic knots. The pizza isn’t bad, just nothing better than you can get almost anywhere else. The knots were horrible, just undercooked bread rolled in junks of garlic. For pizza & knots this is not an «above average» pizza shop, but you can do worse, hence the 3 out of 5 rating.

Great service and fresh food. I had the vodka penne pizza and garlic knots and it was better than I expected.

First, I haven’t had a chance to try the food. The place has a new owner and new look. The staff are much friendly then the previous ones though. Also, it has the longest Italian food menu I have ever seem. Yesterday, we received coupon in our mail box and we will give a try.

I know it’s hard to turn business down but poor judgement by management to let far too many soccer teams have a party. What may have made sense for them to make a few dollars won’t make sense for their brand. Bummed.
