The girl who answers the phone is incredibly rude and without fail some part of our order is messed up or missing. Its a shame because we love the food from Lovey’s which is the only reason we continue to order.

Delivery service here is a disaster! It mine as well not even be an option. First of all, it’s a $ 20 minimum– so you have to get more than just a pizza. Secondly, the wait time has consistently been over 1.5 hours or more, even mid-week. The extra slap in the face is when the food comes cold. It’s not the delivery mans fault– they are usually very nice but overly busy. They need to either hire another person or two, or else just not offer the service. I guess this is why Dominos is still in business. As pitiful as their food is, at least you don’t die of starvation waiting for it, and it arrives hot. Unfortunately this will be the last time I’ll be ordering from here because I refuse to put up with this, and picking up isn’t possible for 2 working parents. Shame!

We recently moved to the area and Loveys was our first try for a local pizza place. Pretty much a fail on the pizza. We called in the order and went to pick it up. Crust was super thin soggy cardboard that was over browned on the edges. Toppings and sauce were bland(we ordered pepperoni, green olives and onions-not bland toppings) and the cheese was okay. We will continue the search for pizza. However, we will be back for the cheesesteaks. We ordered one to try, and it was the best cheesesteak we’ve had since leaving the Philadelphia area 4 years ago. The bread needs a little work, it was a bit stale and not chewy enough, but the steak and cheese is spot on. So two stars for pizza and four stars for cheesesteak averages to three stars.

Absolutely the best! I thought the other pizza restaurants I frequented were good; fugheddaboudit! Ok: news flash… Ordered few times since previous post seems like they need to seriously check food quality and consistency at busy times. Check your delivery or take out orders busy cooks caN become rushed and just push the food out. When they’re good it is spot on

Everything here is delicious. My favorite is the Italian chopped salad and their plain cheese pizza.

Honestly you could literally get anything off the menu and experience a new favorite. Buffalo Chicken Wraps are the best.

Disclaimer: I’m not a huge pepperoni-on-my-pizza type of guy, I’m more of a chicken parm pizza guy(to each their own) A coworker and I split a large pepperoni pizza last night at work and it hit the spot! This was my first time having pizza from this place and it was delicious. The cheese is excellent as well. The pepperoni gave the pizza that nice little extra somethin’ somethin’ Will be definitely returning here!

Fantastic thin crust Sicilian, it’s a must try. Great local pizza place that knows what they are doing. Mild wings have a delicious dry rub that’s slightly spicy, excellent!!! Go Lovey’s!

This place was such a lifesaver for me one day when I was out on the road. Had a craving for hot pizza. Their slices are delicious, and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is unpretentious which made eating a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I glad that I decided to take a chance with lovey’s pizza. Yum!

Ordered dinner from here last night for delivery, I was treated to the biggest attitude from the girl taking the order, letting me know it will be almost 2 hours for any orders and am I sure I still want to place an order. Thanks, I would like to give your business money. It was a Sunday night, not too late either, so I have no idea why she had to be so nasty. I understand being busy but there’s no reason to give a customer attitude. I wanted to order the garlic knot slider special they had on their website but because it was a special it wasn’t available, not really sure what that meant. Also, you can’t order garlic bread half with cheese and half without, it’s not that difficult. Food was delivered within an hour, everything was still hot which is a good thing but was bland. Sub rolls were totally soggy which made eating very messy. We will go elsewhere for better service and better food next time.

I have been ordering pizza from here for a while now, since my roommate and I moved to Morris Plains over a year ago. The pizza has always been great and our favorites have been the mushroom pie and the garbage pie. However, when we ordered a mushroom pie for pick up over the last weekend, more than half the pizza bottom was burnt black. We could really only peel off the toppings from half the pizza and the bottom was wasted. It was really disappointing, and I was hoping that Lovey’s would have checked that before popping the pie in the box. I am usually so happy with the pizza that we order, but that one pie was really disappointing. I hope they check the bottom of the pizza more carefully from now on, but not sure if we will return.

Really delicious pizza. We had quick, hot pizza delivered and will definitely have this again in the future. We were excited they delivered to us as it was a bit far. They didn’t require a ridiculous minimum due to the distance which was nice. Crust was perfect and mozzarella sticks were really good. They typically suck when delivered, but not from here.

I love this pizza place. When I am in my hometown, it is my go to place to get a pie. There are tons of other items on the menu that include sandwiches and salads. One of these days I need to try the other items. Great thin crust with flavorful tomato sauce. The staff is helpful and they have a parking lot in the back. Recommend for takeout or delivery.

You must eat here if you are in the area. The menu is extensive and everything is fresh — from meatballs as big as your head to sandwich rolls with just the right amount of chew. Pizza dough is made fresh daily as well. They also have gluten-free pizza and pasta options. If you want something that you can’t find on the menu(which would be a challenge) just ask, the staff is very accommodating. My Sugar and I had off-menu requests for sandwiches. She had a chicken cutlet with roasted red peppers and slices of fresh mozzarella. I ordered the Fat Cat, which is one of the line of giant sandwiches known here as «Fatties.» Cheesesteak with fries and mozzarella cheese sticks buried under piles of juicy shaved steak and melted provolone. I had them add grilled onions and 86 the marinara that usually comes on top and they gladly did. One sandwich was more than enough for 2 meals. When you stop in, be sure to say«hi» to Gooch who has been a fixture here for over 15 years :)

Consistently delicious pizza. I never got as far as trying any of the special pies, because the pep mushroom was so damned good. We’ve since moved out of the area, but definitely miss this place. We tried pastas on a couple of occasions and were really pleased; I don’t know why, but I just always assume that pasta from a pizzeria is going to suck, and this didn’t. Staff was always very friendly and we never waited long enough for anything to notice. My only minor niggle would be the parking situation. Especially if you show up around dinner time, it can get pretty dicey. I had to park at the QuickCheck across the street in several occasions. I know — it’s tragic isn’t it. Poor guy had to cross a street to get this delicious pie. I’m in Charlotte now and don’t know a place in the area that makes a pie that remotely approaches Lovey’s. After a year without access, I’d pay $ 50 for one right now.

Order lovey’s because it’s right by my job and convenient to get there. After calling for 10 minutes and getting a busy signal, I finally got through. I ordered a lovey’s sampler which included 5 wings, 3 mozzarella sticks, and 3 chicken fingers. They said 30 minutes, and when I showed up exactly 30 minutes later and my food was done and waiting for me. When I got back to work and opened my food I was surprised by how much I got. The chicken fingers I could have done without, but the wings and sticks were great. If your a fan of beer battered mozzarella sticks, then this is where to go. In the box there was also marinara, honey mustard, hot sauce, and blue cheese. All in all I really enjoyed my meal, just wish the chicken fingers were more well done, but I know for next time.

Order the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Boom dun. Order it. You won’t. I know you won’t. You know why? Because you don’t understand. You can’t understand, man. How could you? You’ve never had it. And why haven’t you had it? Because you haven’t listened. Just listen. Here you go, try this: Order the chicken bacon ranch pizza. This may very well be the best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s not even on the menu, as far as I know. I walked into Lovey’s one time about a year ago and they had some slices of chicken bacon ranch pizza just sitting there. I tried one. I died. I went to Heaven. God was all like, «Can I get a slice?» I told him no. Big mistake. Boom, dun, kicked outta heaven. Sent back to earth. Reborn and lived a couple weeks with a new appreciation for life and the memory of the chicken bacon ranch pizza that killed me still fresh. Since then, I’ve called Lovey’s and ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza maybe half a dozen times. Order the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It has potato slices on it! I wouldn’t lie to you. There’s so much going on with this thing that you could never even guess from its name. Once, I called Lovey’s and asked for the chicken bacon ranch pizza and they said, «Sorry, we can’t make that today.» I cried for a month. Maybe they were out of chicken, or bacon, or ranch. I don’t know. But it was probably the worst day I’ve ever lived. I think I was so upset, I just started eating garbage. The neighbors weren’t thrilled. Lovey’s has a bunch of other stuff. Their other pizzas are good. I’m pretty sure they have sandwiches and sodas. They take credit cards and cash but won’t accept the promise of your unborn first son. I assume. I’ve never actually proposed that. Though I might if they said they only could make ONEMORECHICKENBACONRANCHPIZZA and I was out of cash and credit. In summation, get the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Actually, don’t. Because if you do, they might run out of chicken or bacon or ranch or small potatoes and then I might not get to order it. Forget everything I’ve said. Get a calzone. I’m pretty sure they have decent calzones.
