Just don’t come here. There are other Chinese places in Monterey. I would most definitely pay more for decent Chinese food. This place? You get what you pay for. Cheap, disgusting.
Also, the manager with the pixie cut there is rude as hell. Would never ever want to give my hard earned money to that woman. Distasteful beyond belief.

Just wanted to grab some Chinese food while we were out and this place is conveniently located in the Del Monte shopping center. Prices are ok, the place was decently clean, and the service was so-​so. The food was mostly tasteless and we both left feeling meh… Not recommended.

Considering you will rarely get Chinese food for this cheap, the food was surprisingly good and I like the way it’s set up (you can choose one, two, or three items, plus a side of rice or chow main, meaning you can get a lot of variety for a low price). Obviously this isn’t going to be a five-​star meal, but if you’re out shopping at Del Monte and feel like some Chinese food, this food is probably just as good as the P.F. Chang’s or Yama Sushi there, and is a third of the price, and fast. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m at the DMC and looking for something to eat.

Carmel Valley, CA
I regularly stop by every several weeks when at the mall for take out. It is great mall food and fast. It is fresh. What I know well is the eggplant szechuan which I buy most. It is always very good and I eat some before I get home! The rest looks good as any Chinese fast food does. And the lady is so wonderful, so cheerful and so caring. She goes out of her way to please and to wish you well or Happy Holidays. She works hard. The place is very clean, the food is hot. I do recommend eating here. The prices are very nominal.

Cheap Chinese food is one of my guilty pleasures so this place does not disappoint!
I always get jalapeño chicken, broccoli beef, and fried rice, and altogether it only comes out to about $ 6 – 7! A plate is the perfect portion for me when I come hungry, and I leave very satisfied :)
Also, the lady that works here is so sweet and is genuinely happy to see returning customers.

I so hate giving a bad review but the food was just ok. Went here for lunch today. Their tofu and eggplant was too sweet for me. The broccoli beef was too salty. Fried rice was too greasy. Chipotle was right next to them and I went here because I wanted something quick. Kinda bad choice. I didn’t even finish my food.

Horrible place to go to! Food tasted old, super expensive and customer service was horrible. The lady kept on giving me attitude and talking to me like an idiot. Never coming back to this place. Hope my son and I don’t get sick from eating here.

Let me start by saying I love any kind of Chinese food so I’m not a picky Chinese food person.
The orange chicken is on the sweeter side and I really like that it’s not soggy it’s crunchy.
The chow me in is very flavor full.
The customer service is very good.

Terrible food, expensive, service is pretty bad and they charged me for a water. This is the first time I pay for a water, incredible. This is your typical nickel-​and-​dime restaurant. To make matters worst, the lady working, one must assume is in charge mistreats their employees.

This was the worst meal I have ever eaten. It gets one star because I went in at 7 and the lady behind the counter said they closed at 9. Nothing was prepared and the food that was prepared looked mediocre and stale. I asked for a simple eff roll with you should be able to order at any Chinese restaurant and the lady was just Implying she was too lazy to cook. On top of that, the atmosphere did not suffice. The Asian lady was yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs to a customer, I had to leave my food and walk over to pizza my heart. It was an awful experience

I stopped by here because I simply had to have something in DMC quickly. The food was very fresh, and decently priced.
I had a bowl of orange chicken and fried rice. I feel like it is much better for the price than Panda Express.
Now if only they delivered…

Only went here because it was in the Del Monte mall and we wanted something cheap rather than going to the more expensive Chinese place. All this is, is a cheap rip off of Panda Express. If you don’t have to come here then don’t come.
