Terrible! Went here for lunch today. My coworker and I wanted to try a new Sushi place for lunch. I ordered the«Bento» box with the chicken teriyaki. It came with 5 pieces of a California roll, orange slices, a spring roll, and a bowl of fried rice(for an additional $ 1.50). We each had the house salad to start with ginger dressing and my coworker order their sushi for lunch. First of all, the salad dressing did not taste anything like ginger at all. Tasted like Kraft French dressing. I wasn’t impressed. My meal came … The rice was disgusting and old … It literally looked(and tasted) like left over Chinese rice. The chicken was OK — drowning in watery teriyaki sauce … The spring roll was ok; I’ve had better. The sushi was actually decent. However, I spent $ 15 on my meal … And it was a lunch special. Not worth $ 10! My coworker spent the same amount … One of the servers dumped the rice bowl in my coworkers purse … And didn’t even help her to clean it out. She also threw away her 12 pieces of left over sushi she asked for a to go box for … The last just said«sorry» and that was it! Not even a discount for the inconvenience … Sorry but I definitely won’t be coming back here.

Love sushi and wanted to try a new place — especially one close to my house. I’ve literally just picked up their take out right now: a moon roll. The roll was the loosest roll I’ve ever had. Fell apart everywhere. Horrible. Back to Orient Chef on Miramar Pkwy and 172nd.

I’ve been here once before & I wasn’t impressed. Decided to come back because there isn’t any other sushi restaurants nearby. The food was OKAY. They have two separate entrances for dine in & take out. I ordered the kamikaze roll and the salmon karrage. The food was still OKAY. Nothing to brag about

I have been here a couple times already. It was recommended by one of my co worker who orders delivery very often. I decided to check it out. I went with my boyfriend on a Sunday when they were opening. The server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the California deluxe roll. It was to die for! The taste was incredible and the fish dynamite that is on top of the sushi is the best. The next time I went I ordered the Miami Heat roll which is apart of their special of the day. I went ahead and added the fish dynamite on top of the roll because it was so good from the previous time I went. The Miami Heat roll is my, by far favorite roll! It is a must try and I highly recommend this restaurant for people who have a sushi crazy and don’t want to break the bank.

Ordered food to go and didn’t received my house salad when I reached home. The two rolls I ordered was ok. The pad Thai taste horrible to go. No flavor and tasted so plain. They gave me a bag full of sauces but no spoons no chopsticks no napkins no fork … I guess the wanted me to eat with my hands or something. Their fried rice didnt taste fresh. I was surprise cause when I dine in, it’s not bad but I will never order for pick up ever again Make sure you ask for all the utensils and not assume it’s in there like how other places gives it to you Automatic common sense when you place an order for pick up or to go.

Been my go-to sushi spot in the area when I moved to Broward. So yes, the amount of check ins do not reflect the real amount of times I’ve been there. And it’s a pretty good sign when you see the same servers for all these years! So straight to the food. My go-to sushi dishes are the Cajun Booty Roll and the Daiymo Roll. Cajun Booty Roll — It’s definitely different, a good different. It is smokey in flavor, much like eating jerk chicken, but in this sense, it’s jerk sushi. There’s a bit of kick to it. A definitely bigger kick if you dip it in spicy mayo. The fish on the outside is seared so expect this roll to be a little bit cooked. I just love how this roll just tastes really different in terms of flavor. Not the usual umami taste you get from most sushi. Daiymo Roll — If you love raw fish, this is the sushi for you! It comes with salmon, tuna, and white fish, along with tempura flakes, avocado, asparagus, scallions, and masago. Sounds like a lot, because it is a lot! They are also quite big, because well of course, they would need to stuff all that fish! Quality of the sushi is good and I absolutely love the portions. Most rolls are 8 – 10 pieces, so I sometimes struggle to finish a roll to myself. I’ve also had their pad thai, which isn’t so bad, and again with the portions, it’s a lot, so you will take some home(it’s like paying for two meals for the price of one, hehe). My favorite appetizer item is their lettuce wraps. It could be a meal in itself because it is a lot. The meat is already so juicy, I don’t need to use much of the sauce they provide. So much flavor, and I don’t feel guilty when I order this because… well, lettuce wraps… sounds healthy, right? I used to order their Tom Yum Goong(Thai hot and sour soup with shrimp) but would always complain about the amount of shrimp, which is like 3 pieces max, floating in such a big bowl. I would get it because I really did like the flavor of the broth, it’s not intensely spicy — just enough kick. It’s a pretty good soup to have when you have stuffy sinuses! However, in my last visit, I’ve ordered the Tom Kha Gai(Thai hot and sour soup with coconut milk and chicken) and oh my gai(hehe), I’ve converted to this soup! It’s creamy, still has the right kick I’m looking for in my old tom yum goong, and I didn’t expect for it to have generous slices of tender chicken. Again, big bowl, because this place just likes to give big portions. So if you’re looking for a good Japanese-Thai place in the Miramar area, I recommend this one(and yes, they have other branches). It’s a spot my mother and I frequently go to after our massage dates at the nearby spa hehe :)

Don’t get your hopes up folks. Although the food I ate looked good, and tasted fair… the prices are beyond the ambiance and service provided. I had a legitimate problem with what I ordered, as the menu was confusing with pricing and add-ons…or extra fees after certain hours(greedy much?), and when the manager or owner came over to talk with me, she shoved a completely different menu my way to support her argument. Not even close, lady. Eventually she walked away and adjusted my pricing… but not before blatantly rolling her eyes in front of me and my guest.

Ordered takeout. Salmon roll with avocado and the Eitan roll. Everything was very delicious. Must try the Eitan roll!!! One of the best combinations in a roll I’ve had. Downside: this location is in a small plaza with VERY limited parking. Next time I’ll opt for delivery.

Looking for a new sushi place since moving to Florida to fill my weekly craving, I searched the area on Unilocal and decided to give Nami Sushi a try. Location to me is pretty close, being a short 8 minute drive away, and the menu had a nice selection of nigiri/sashimi combos and rolls. I believe you can tell all you need to know about a sushi place based on the quality of their sashimi as it is sushi in it’s purest form and also I typically like to be able to eat as much or little of the rice on the side to meet my caloric needs for the meal. With that being said, I ordered that Sashimi Deluxe(20 pieces sashimi) and an Eel Cucumber roll on the side. I opted for the salad with ginger dressing and additionally it came with white rice on the side. I started with the salad. It came in a generous portion of greens but the dressing wasn’t very good… it had an odd texture compared to any other ginger dressing I’ve had, lacked flavor and was a bit heavy on the oil side of things. Not a good start… Next up was the eel/cucumber roll. It came in a nice serving of 8 pieces. Upon first glance it is a bit thick on the rice content with minimal eel. Not a very good ratio and upon eating, was a bit disappointed as it was dry and tasted a bit subpar in terms of flavor balance being almost all rice. Now, for the important part: The Sashimi. It was a nice assortment including tuna, whitefish, salmon and eel. Visually it wasn’t bad, but I could tell that it was a bit on the cheap side, having a pale color indicating that it was a fattier cut of fish. Upon tasting, it was dry and overly ‘fishy’. The flavor was washed out and the I would be hard pressed to say that it had the fresh flavor that is indicative of fresh, high quality fish. Rounding out the review is the rice that came with it. Rice is a cheap add-on, yet at a sushi place it is still a vital part of the base. It was dry, flavorless and resembled cheap minute rice… more of the same that came in the eel roll and I didn’t even bother eating it. I have had way better sushi that is for sure and with so many other options around, I just can’t see myself returning for another shot here. On a side note: Fortune cookies with your sushi is tacky.

The sushi and especially the rolls are awesome. The rest of the menu was always disappointing, however this is a sushi place so get sushi when dining at Nami Sushi. Good deals for lunch too. Order ’ Of da chain roll’, it’s DA best :)

We showed up at 11:29 am and there were already a few people waiting. Good reason as to why. We had just finished a morning meeting and were starving. The three of us all took advantage of the insanely reasonable lunch special and it was outstanding. I loved loved their spicy tuna. And I don’t like spicy tuna. They don’t make it in a salad version. It’s just deliciously spiced and just enough. It doesn’t pack on the heat so you can’t taste your own buds. The salmon roll was so fresh and fatty I couldn’t believe the generous portion in the roll. Within a half hour the entire house was packed to the gills. It’s a primary business area so they definitely make the most out of their lunch crowd. When I’m back in miramar you can definitely bet I’ll be back at this spot. Yum.

I love this place! It’s located next to the Nail lounge. It’s small and clean and I always receive great service here. they’re also open pretty late. I recommended the Summer Breeze. It’s a Japanese style spring roll with Imitation crab and seaweed wrap around it, it’s covered in a sour-tangy sauce! DELICIOUS

Went for lunch with a friend, the hand rolls are highly recommended. I loved the TGIF roll, we loved it! I also tried the spicy tuna roll which was ok. The yakitori was meh. Gyoza was yummylicious! I would definitely go back for the rolls. They were out of Uni, sigh… I was waiting to try it. Service and ambience was great! This location doesn’t have a hibachi grill.

This little restaurant may appear small from the outside, mainly because it is small on the inside, but it’s beautiful! The fact that they sell Thai iced tea already won my heart. I was having lunch with my sister and her boss and we shared four sushi rolls. They have amazing sushi combo deals for an extremely fair price, which was what Chantelle. We had a mango tango roll, tgif roll, spicy tuna and Japanese bagel roll. Mango tango: FORTHETUNALOVERSOUTTHERE! I approve of the avocado, mango, and grilled tuna topping on this roll. It’s also stuffed with tuna, so it’s like tuna on tuna on tuna. TGIF: my new favorite. Fried fish on top with avocado, tuna and shrimp on the inside. Spicy tuna: I swear every sush Each roll was well worth the price for the quality of the fish and the quantity! They were huge and stuffed with plenty of ingredients. No cheapness here!

This is one of my favorite places because the service is excellent and the sushi is fresh. It’s not a very big restaurant and it gives a romantic, cozy feeling. I usually start with their Tom Kha Goong/Gai soup which is creamy soup with coconut milk and lemon grass and I add shrimp… yumm! Then I’ll order one of their sushi combos. Thier Nami Boat is supposed to be for 1 person, but I think it may be good enough for 2 to share. It has lots of fresh sashimi, sushi, ½ a California roll and a full salmon roll. If you’re still hungry, you can indulge in their delicious Thai Donuts. Stay hungry people.
