Worst sushi buffet in south florida. The sushi sits there for a long time until is finished they won’t replace it until is all gone. Not many choices. Every piece of sushi i had tasted like rice not the fish. If i had the choice of giving them a negative i would. Ps our waiter sat in front of us the whole time eating his lunch.

I like this place. It has a nice ambience, good food, all for a reasonable price. My family and I keep coming back here. The desserts are not that great, but you can always get fruit or ice cream instead

To be an Asian buffet that is very reasonable with the price… this 9lace is probably as best as u can get. Even the décor is nice from the Koi pond to the Asian architecture above the food … Speaking of food the selections are very fresh and they have a vast variety of sushi to pick from and recently the even updated their desserts and that’s a place where Asian buffets usually lack but not here the new management is running the plays very well the food is good is fresh and even have a cooked to order hibachi grill what more can you ask for for $ 13 or less

Great place for families. We go here often for their sashimi; sushi & nugiri. Their buffet is pretty good. And their hibachi is good. The waitresses are always very friendly. Esp. To my children. They have cute little desserts too.

My family and I always come here because of the cheap prices. The place looks clean, but they have gone through different owners so some of the old décor and plates are still being used. They have your typical Chinese buffet menu but with a sushi bar. The menu items offered are limited, but I’m just glad they have a sushi bar, honestly. You have your general tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, the hibatchi grill, some baked fish options and then the dessert bar. This place isn’t spectacular but if you’re looking for a good place to eat cheap and you have a party of 20 – 40 people then you should come here.

I was disappointed that they don’t serve sashimi at lunch. The sushi overall was okay.

This Buffet It has had many names and owners over the years but this is place has become piss poor. We have not been to Hibachi Grill Buffet in several months and then it was so-so in a pinch. Now it is horrible. The only decent thing is the Mongolian BBQ because you can tell the Chef how you want it prepared., everything else is nothing but fat and and oil. I don’t know how they did it but isn’t there supposed to be Chicken in a Chicken wing? They were all Breading and Bones and dripping oil like a waterfall. The Sushi was warm and it is supposed to be kept cold for food safety. It is a Buffet so really the staff do not need to be rated. We are done with the Hibachi Grill Buffet. I am sure it will have a new owner and a new name sometime soon cause a Buffet with food like this can’t possibly stay in business.

I arrived at 8:15pm and the staff looked like they were ready to go home. The sushi portions very small. The rolls that contained cream cheese were not cold. This place was much better just a few months ago. The grill was closed and no sushi were being added or replaced. No labels on there roll and sushi offering, in total a big disappointment and would not recommend.

Really good variety of food! Lots of sushi to choose from. So that is THE best part of this establishment. The men’s bathroom was NASTY! Dining room floor was dirty. And there was a broken table in plain view. The serving staff was ok, but seemed like they were in a hurry for customers to leave even though it was slow.

Quality is no longer fresh :(I’m disappointed and don’t think I will be returning. The sweets look great but taste old. Quality is old.

Decent sushi buffet joints. You get more for what you pay for. I was mainly excited about the fruit buffet selection(to be more specific, they have yummy cactus fruit)

So, what does it take for me to give you one star. Cold dumplings. Cold General Tao chicken. Soupy ice cream! Downright dangerous.

The food here isn’t fresh you can tell the sushi has been sitting out for awhile. Same goes for the hot food section. The only thing that was tolerated was the dessert. If you are looking for a good all you can eat sushi place I wouldn’t recommend it.

The food was okay. Not spectacular. However they do carry a wide variety of sushi. Some of the hot food taste a tad bit old has if it has been sitting out there for a while. Well on a good note I left with a stuffed stomach with fruit, sushi and raw mussels.

I’ve had my fair share of sushi buffet joints and I can honestly say that I wish we had Hibachi Grill Buffet in NY! For the price and variety in AYCE foods, this is a place you should be going to. I can guarantee that you can not find an AYCE buffet with this price head in NYC at all, especially for dinner. They’ve got a mind-blowing selection of fresh sushi and sashimi(a full table) as well as separate tables for just warm chinese food, cold foods, fruits, and even one for cakes! The siblings and I went to the hibachi grill area twice to create our own steak and shrimp lo mein. We asked for a fried egg and teriyaki sauce each time. It was amazingggg. Perfect execution! For $ 13, I had my fill of almost everything they offered! I took a picture of my first platter(out of many)… Although this was quite a drive from Miami Beach, I really enjoyed the thought and care they took in creating so large a variety in cuisine.

Sadly, I have to update my review based on my last two recent visits to this place. This place has gone south in a hurry :(Used to be good, then I guess they started doing the sushi the night before because it will be a miracle if you find a roll that is not stale or old tasting. You want sushi that is better than this, go to Publix. Seriously, Publix is 10 times better. I really liked this place but they got pricier and nastier. Avoid this place and go to Shinju instead. I give this place 1 month before they rename or change ownership… like it has done about 4 times prior.

Is there a such thing as knock off Oreos? Read on to find out. I always get ads for this place in the mail. We were in the area and were in the mood for some sushi gluttony, so we ducked in here for a bite. As stated in another review, there was a long wait to be seated even though it wasn’t busy. The whole restaurant is drastically understaffed. Several sushi roll plates were empty never refilled in the 30 or so minutes we were there. Sauces were also empty and never refilled. The food was okay. What you would expect in a budget priced Asian buffet. The buffet itself needed to be kept up better. Now, about those«Oreos»… There was a plate of them by the ice cream bar. Cool right? Oreos make a good sundae topper. Took a bite of one and we were convinced it was a fake. Despite the logo and everything. Weird right?! I don’t think we will be running back here anytime soon.

Honestly? It’s just average. This restaurant is located on the NE corner of Flamingo and Pembroke Rd… in fact this location has underwent many identity changes with one thing always remaining the same… It’s always a Chinese Buffet. I must give props as this place is very clean and well organized. Upon entering the establishment you are met with the wonderful sounds of the man made waterfalls near the hostess stand. The hostess then seats you in one of three rooms. You make your drink order and then it’s off to the buffet stands which you pass upon going to your table. I personally am not a fan of sushi therefore I cannot comment on the taste however it appears to be a very big selection to choose from, you then have your standard Chinese Buffet items such as ribs, sweet & sour chicken and various shrimp dishes. There is also a station dedicated to deserts which also includes three cakes that you can take a slice from and cookies and ice cream. If I went back it would because of the actual grill where you are able to select various items(ex: egg, onions, rice, chicken and steak) to have them prepared at the grill. This was the best dish I had in the restaurant(my own creation — rice). Overall, if your feeling hungry and want some Chinese food at a clean buffet, this would be your place but IMO don’t expect amazing quality and flavors. IJS.

I would have to disagree with the previous reviewers. I, in no way, can give Hibachi Grill 5 stars. Yes, they have a large selection: sushi, sashimi, hot Chinese, and hibachi. Half of the sushi is just variations of California roll. I didn’t even like those or the ones that were different. Obviously not fresh. The Chinese food is average, whatever you would expect at other buffets. There wasn’t anything that made my taste buds have a party. The hibachi was promising. I chose steak and shrimp with some veggies. The shrimp and veggies were good, but the steak was awful: dry and tough. My finale was two bowls of ice cream: one cookies & cream, one strawberry.(Go with the strawberry.) Plus, they have my favorite: rainbow sprinkles: the good kind.
