Don’t try to eat there today. Totally unprepared for customers on a holiday weekend. No list for waiting. Watch a table for half an hour, look away for a second and it gets taken. Today you can’t eat at the bar. Last time we left was because you can’t eat inside at all. Today there were people eating inside. Third time this year we left after not getting service. Go to the yacht club!

Absouletly amazing food and views. It can take awhile to be seated at times considering how hot this spot is. However, its well the worth the wait. Sit back, relax and enjoy a cocktail. The Ahi tuna is spectacular with a wasabi plum sauce… yum! They make great Old Fashions and Blood Mary’s. Definitely will be returning.

I ate here three times this summer, trip number one food was phenomenal(lobster mac ‘n cheese) and our server was very friendly and quick. The second time the food what even better(meatball sliders) but the service was BAD! It took around 45 minutes to be served, and when the food came, one of the orders was wrong, and it took a very long time for it to be fixed– and we weren’t offered a free margherita or anything like that for all the trouble. They were not very sympathetic, actually very snippy and short with us. Third time the service was prompt and good, and so was the food, only complaint is that some of the staff(bartenders and waitress) were pretty rowdy and obnoxious. So the food is always good, but the service is inconsistent, which is a con. I recommend giving it a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Great location on Minocqua chain. Perfect spot to go to by boat DURINGTHEWEEK. Weekday dinning us great they have an impressive full menus and drinks are consistently good. Weekend dining is not ideal. They have a short weekend menu with half the options. Drinks are hit and miss and by Sunday they are out of half the ingredients on the sort menu. If you only go on the weekend you wouldn’t know the difference. Beautiful outdoor dining. But food is meh

The mushroom Swiss burger with caramelized onions was out of this world fantastic. Chef Dave shared his secret recipe for the onions. We sat on the deck with beautiful lake views. Super friendly wait staff. No wait… immediate seating and food showed up timely. They substituted chips and pico de gallo for the rice that was to be the side for my shrimp, which was okay but would have preferred to be given choice of other sides.

Ignore the few disgruntled locals, this is a great restaurant. We stopped in from out of town and decided to get an early lunch at Lakeside Grill. It’s all outdoor seating and right on the lake so the view is spectacular. My friend and I ordered cheese curds, a chicken club sandwich and a mahi mahi sandwich. The food was excellent. Besides the fries being a little too crispy the meal was perfect. Also ordered a cocktail which was pretty tasty and pretty strong. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lots of customers brought their dogs with them and the staff brought out water dishes for them. This is a very nice, scenic spot and will most likely visit again when in the area.

This used to be one of our favorite places to go in Minocqua. We’ve been there twice this summer. Both times the service has been horrible. The food is not what it used to be. We’re so disappointed to see that our favorite place is not what it used to be.

Formerly Lakeside Landing used to be a great little casual hangout in the Minocqua area where locals could often be found mixing with tourists. One of only a few restaurants on the Minocqua chain, it was an awesome stop for Bloody Mary’s, burgers, and back in the day, live music. A true joint. Since the entire area has gone«executive», it now feels more like the pseudo wanna be joint at a timeshare resort. I stopped for fish fry, which was choice of haddock at $ 13 shrimp at $ 14, or walleye at $ 18. The food was very average, coleslaw was warm, and no butter for bread. A bloody will set you back 8.50, though they did have a great Old Fashioned special. It’s still a unique location, but I’ll be drinking and dining elsewhere when in the Northwoods, and leaving Lakeside to the condo dwellers.

What? No one has reviewed this restaurant yet? I’m confused… Lakeside is a great little spot. It’s tucked away off Hwy 51, down a residential street, at the end of the road and on a lake. I’ve been there probably half a dozen times now and I can honestly say that every time the food has been very good and the service has been equally good. This last time the food took maybe 4 minutes longer than it should have, but there were a lot of people there and I wouldn’t have noticed except our kids starting complaining a bit. The setting is great. Boats pull up to the dock to stop for a bite, others zoom on by, and one time we even had an airplane land right in front of us for lunch. My kids were thrilled. There is a little play area that the kids can enjoy while the adults sip cocktails, talk and wait for their food. I would, in fact, give it 5 stars but Unilocal keeps filtering my completely legitimate reviews(and I have to say, it’s highly annoying), so I’ll keep it at 4 stars and hope they don’t hijack my feedback!
