If papa john was my father, I would be thoroughly pissed. I mean, the guy is never on time. He is always showing up way after he says he will. I feel like we have a one-way relationship here. I’m always spending money on his homemade pizza(which he claims is the best), but he shows no love back. I feel bad for his kids. They must be soo sick of his specialty pizza this, or new meaty pizza that. Papa’s pizza is really just a brick of cheese on top of a sad sack of soggy crust. He says there is pizza sauce somewhere in that mess, but DAMMIT! I DON’T BELIEVEHIM.

It’s not a Tuesday night in Milwaukee for me without a delicious, piping hot pie of Papa John’s pizza. For those of you who live under a rock, Papa John’s has $ 5 pizza Tuesdays. Yes, that’s right… a large pizza, one topping… all for $ 5!!! Nothing can make me feel better when I get home after a long, miserable day at work than a nice slice of comfort. Well… maybe a case of beer, but that’s another issue. Beyond the Super Tuesday Special… Papa John’s is just a friendly place. After a few regular visits, they learn your name and say hi to you. I love becoming a «regular» and never thought it would be possible anywhere other than my wine store… let alone Papa Johns!!! The best part about being known is that they frequently cut the line for you… no matter when I get there, my large pepperoni is ready. I highly recommend going to Papa Johns on Tuesday… get a cheap pizza… and then pair it with a six-pack from the beer store across the street. Tuesdays are pure bliss.
