I really like their noodles, but where are they now???

Yum yum lip smacking! We came ultra late and was taken a moment to be seated(but who can complain as we were a party of 15), they had to split us up since we were in such a large party. My one friend out of the 15 ordered a bowl of spicy beef noodle soup and I ordered the same thing sans spiciness. Mmm, warm and sweet. I was having a really good time just chomping down on the soft fluffy noodles and having their soul melting soup. Service is lacking as everyone else mentions, but we came in the middle of the night so I would give them a little bit of slack for that. I don’t know about everyone else’s case though. All in all, I probably wouldn’t order anything else besides the noodle soups, I heard many-a-non-pleasant things regarding just about almost everything else.

Their noodles are SO good. I ordered the beef noodle soup and it was delicious. The beef was incredibly tender and the soup was very flavorful and light. Service, however, was pretty crappy. We ordered the potstickers as an appetizer(they tasted pretty average and were overpriced. not worth it), but they came when we were halfway done with our meal. Servers are very inattentive and we had to refill our own waters, and go up to the front to get our check because no one ever came to check on us, and didn’t even come close enough to our table for us to wave them down. We’ll probably come back if we’re in the area and have a couple hours to spare.

3.5 stars E-Noodle is your standard Taiwanese noodle shop. Silly me, I end up ordering the Taiwanese fried pork chop with rice. The pork chop is pounded very thin that I could hardly taste the meat. However, the breading on the pork chop was very good and it was a good portion size for my entrée. My friend ordered the beef noodles and he loved it. The bowl of the noodles is very big as you can see in my picture and had lots of flavor. The staff here is very nice and one gesture I really liked was, even though they have a $ 25 debit/credit card minimum charge; my friend and I only ordered about $ 16 worth of food and they still let us use our card. That was very nice of them to allow that. Our waters were constantly refilled and service was friendly and quick. But next time, I will order myself a bowl of noodles.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. I came by today for lunch because I remembered the yummy dumplings they had. Unfortunately, it’s not as good as I remember it. Today, I ordered: * XiuLongBao, which most were popped, so the soup was not inside and therefore, the skin was dry. * The potstickers were pretty good, but not as good as I remember it. There was something missing, but I can’t pinpont it. * pan fried veggie dumpling(can’t remember official name): after I patted it down with a napkin, it was more enjoyable.

I am downgrading this joint again due to their check practice. This is NOT a criticism of their food or customer service. Upon receiving the check, we have notice the tip was already included in the total. huh? I thought restaurants only include the tip when there is a party of 6 or more. OK, fine. When paid at the counter with a credit card. She insisted that we tipped the amount they specified. Pointing to us that is the amount you HAVETO write in as a tip. I do not like this practice. With this type of service/practice, I will not be coming back.

This is a great place for a quick lunch. The noodle soups are HUGE and very very cheap. However, if you’re a ramen elitist(the kind that likes ‘super high quality Orenchi-status ramen’), then this place probably isn’t the place for you: P I love their spicy beef noodle soups. They sometimes also have deals on hot pots, which are good but the ratio of veggies: meat is very high.

E-noodle are great with their portions. The menu consists of noodle soups, rice plates, soups, entrees, and etc. I’ve been here twice. So far I’ve had their beef stew with rice stick noodle, wonton noodle soup, fried tofu, and some sort of potsticker. From those two experiences I would say it was pleasant enough. The soup from the beef stew was very flavorful and had surprisingly tender beef. The rest wasn’t that memorable. They are definitely great for those of you who aren’t too picky with your food selections and want something fast/cheap.

Email, eHarmony, eCommerce, why not eNoodle? We planned on eating at New Tung Kee Noodle House in Milpitas, but that damn place closes too early. Who closes before 9pm on a Sat night? Argh! We headed over to McCarthy ranch on our rented Harley and kept circling the lot for a decent replacement noodle house and settled on this place. I don’t think there was a English name on the sign and we didn’t even know what this place was called until the check came. Anyways, I ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, my co-pilot ordered the seafood noodle soup, and a milk tea boba for $ 1.99. I was surprised to see how big the bowl was! It was like they brought the bathroom sink out and in it was a layer of red crude oil, some beef, baby bok choy, and some noodles. The baby bok choy was nice and crispy. The soup had a nice flavor, but the beef was very low quality as expected. I had to skim off the red crude before it got cold or it would have grossed me out with it coagulated on top. The milk tea pearl drink was not bad for $ 2. Most places like this takes cash only so I was pleasantly pleased they took my Visa. The true test came when I didn’t have explosive diarrhea afterwards which was vitally important since we went to catch«Insidious» and I’d be damned if I would go to the bathroom in the dark by myself.

3.5 stars. My wife and I come here for a cheap, filling, and decent meal. The beef noodle soup is the best dish here. The Singaporean chow mein is good too.

Bleh. This place got worse! Service was so horrible. The waiters ignored our table. I think everyone at that place hates their job. The utensils were all dirty. Yuck. As for the food, the quality sucks. Avoid the famous pork potstickers. In addition, avoid the Tan Tan noodles. The noodles were spicy, but whatever spice they used made our tongues extremely numb. After a while, it was paintful to eat the dish. The only good dish is the Beef Noodle Soup with rice noodles. The beef and broth was good. I swear, the restaurant must have some factory in the kitchen. We received our potstickers 2 minutes after we ordered. Two minutes later, we got the Tan Tan noodles. And then a couple minutes later, we got the Beef Noodle Soup. We could barely enjoy our appetizer. I would not want to spend the money to come here.

Arrived around 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon– place was a little less than half full and got seated right away. Knowing that its a Taiwan place of course we opted for the Beef Noodle Soup. Ended up getting the Beef and Tendon Noodle soup which was suppose to be spicy but had barely any spice flavoring. The noodles that came with it were pretty different too– almost like ramen but even skinnier– tasted not bad but really wasn’t what I was expecting. Overall the flavoring was ok, wouldn’t really consider it authentic common beef noodle soup but it was still tasty. Big area inside so good choice during lunch hour rush– a bit dark though

A good place for Chinese/Taiwanese food, but my favorite thing to get here is probably the hotpot. Not exactly sure what the deal is(since it’s written in Chinese and I’m pretty terrible at reading it), but it’s something like buy one get one for a dollar from Monday through Wednesday, and buy one get one half off during all other days??? I really don’t know, but each hotpot is $ 20 for a platter of veggies + small plate of meat + small plate of seafood, so the Monday through Wednesday deal is pretty worth it.(It comes out to be about $ 13/person including tax and tip.) The food isn’t super spectacular, but it is great comfort food and service is always pretty quick and nice.

I was in the mood for a traditional won ton noodle soup. Came here and was very disappointed. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing on the menu. But… you only get one first impression and I don’t think I’ll be back. The won tons are so tiny and flavorless. There is barely any meat it was like those instant dehydrated won tons you microwave. The broth was not a clear, slightly yellowish broth like it should be. Instead it was white and milky looking. The noodles were blah, not chewy enough. The pot stickers were ok but nothing worth raving about. I saw some people eating hot pot. However, I didn’t see it on the menu, or on the wall, or on the little specials thing on the table. Seems like that would’ve been a better choice. Maybe you just gotta know about it and ask? It’s funny how such a popular menu item isn’t even on the menu.

4.0 Stars I like to come to E-Noodle when I’m craving a good bowl of Taiwanese noodle soup. With the Winter season amongst us, a good bowl noodle soup goes a long way and I’m glad E-Noodle delivers a solid bowl. I especially enjoy their Beef Noodle Soups(non-spicy or spicy) with a side of their Pork Pot Stickers. #51 — Beef Noodle Soup($ 9.50) *Noodles, Beef, Bok Choy, Pickled Cabbage, Parsley *It’s a little pricey for a bowl of noodles, but the portions are quite large. You’ll notice the bowl of noodles is pretty big. *I counted at least 5 pieces of tender beef brisket and 4 pieces of halved bok choy. *The millky, cloudy broth is light, but has a bold meaty flavor. It’s delicious! I usually don’t drink the broth, but I found myself using the ladle quite often on this dish. *The noodles are slightly springy. *The pickled cabbage has a very subtle flavor to it and isn’t overpowering. *Non-spicy. #52 — Stew Beef Noodle Soup($ 7.95) *Noodles, Beef, Bok Choy, Pickled Cabbage, Parsley *Ingredients are similar to #51, except it has different soup base. *The soup base tastes a little spicy and has a red/orange color. #11 — Pork Pot Stickers($ 7.95) *8 Pieces *The pot stickers aren’t served traditionally in the crescent shape, but are grilled on one side and open on the ends. *They come in long, thin pieces. *They may look different from your typical pot stickers, but they still taste awesome. The chili hot sauce is also really good here and it goes well with any of the dishes above. Remember to bring CASH, unless your order is over $ 25. There is a minimum charge of $ 25 for credit cards. == A MUSTTRY! ==

So when we are hungry the only place we can think of is McCarthy Ranch area since a lot of the asian restaurants are still open and its sit down too. Anyways we went on a whim and tried E-Noodle since we always drive around and pick a place around it. There were a lot of people so we thought it should be good. Sat down looked through the menu had no freaking clue what to order. My gf ordered the spicy beef noodles and I ordered the Singapore noodles. Both came out really fast, but DAMN the portions are HUGE! I could of just split the spicy beef noodle dish with my gf, and my singapore noodles were so bland, we opted not to eat it and just take it home for later. The next day I had to tweak it myself by adding some soysauce and sriracha hot sauce. Oh yeah even though they have a visa logo at their front door they dont let you charge unless its over 25 or 30 dollars(can’ remember). I think thats freaking stupid!!! They were lucky I had exactly 21 dollars in my wallet. So we left leaving a couple cents in tip money. Its not my fault u guys are shady with your card machine. HAHAHA! Oh by the way they have these individual hot pots that it looked like everyone in the restaurant was eating. The bad part about it was it smelled like a gas leak in the restaurant. Seriously getting light headed, because i’m pretty sure if the restaurant had a good ventilation system it would be okay. But there were kids in that restaurant and im pretty sure thats harmful to them and other patrons. U know I initially was going to give them a 2 star but after writing this review, im dropping it down to a 1 star. Big portions but bland food, smells like a gas leak, takes credit but never mentions anywhere that its $ 25+ transactions. WACK! wont be coming back.

************* REVIEW108 **************** Lunch with customers. The place was packed by Noon. Cucumber salad was nice. Dumpling was OK. Fried Rice was good but oily. Spicy Beef Stew Egg Noddle Soup — the broth was very oily, but the meet was very tender. The portion is way TOO much! Quick & efficient service. Note: It took us 20 minutes to find a parking spot in this plaza! Arrr! So don’t come at Noon time!

Soup sounded good so we came here on a weekday, 10:45pm, 20 mins before they closed. The tables and silverware were pretty clean! I was expecting worse. I’m just going to get straight to the point. The lady who usually runs the cash register is pushy and rude. She kept telling the others what to do and was too lazy to bring out anything when it was obvious that the server was busy tending to the patrons. He was really friendly and she was just plain rude! Right after we got our noodles, she came out with the bill and interrupted our conversation and demanded that we pay the bill since they were closing in 10 minutes. She literally said, «Pay now and go ahead and finish.» I had lost my appetite at that point. Even though she was a pain the ass, I’ll have to say that their noodles were decent and servings are HUGE! The restaurant was very spacious and it’s nice that they’re open a lil later than most restaurants on a weeknight.

I wonder why this place is called«E-Noodle» because the«E» stands for electronic as in «e-mail»… Okay that was corny… moving on. I ate here with my friend since I wanted to eat at a place I’ve never been to before. We both ordered the spicy beef noodle soup($ 7.50) and potstickers(8 pieces for $ 6.95). Immediately, our potstickers came to the table and I have to say that was pretty fast. Their potstickers were pretty good and before we could finish them, our spicy beef noodle soup arrived at the table. The bowls were HUGE! It looked like a lot to eat at first but it wasn’t too bad. The spicy beef noodle wasn’t spicy at all even though it had the appearance of hot oil on the surface of the soup. It was the kind of soup that you’ll have to be very careful while eating with a white shirt on; otherwise, the soup will splat on your clothes and that’s never good. I was about to order the rice plates because they were the same price as the spicy beef noodle soup. It was a good thing I didn’t order it because the plates were pretty big with a big portion. Overall, this place was good cheap food. If you don’t know what to order, then give the potstickers a try at least and the spicy beef noodle(not spicy at all though it could only be me).

I was excited to try this place, since they are known for their spicy beef and tendon noodle soup. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with most of the dishes. I came here with my family for lunch, and we ordered the following items. Most of the dishes are huge, so they can be shared among a few people. 1. Fried Chicken Wings($ 4.5) — Tasted ok 2. Pork Pot Stickers($ 6.95) — This is the best dish! The pot sticker was crispy on the outside, and the filling was very flavorful. I didn’t need to dip it in soy sauce. 3. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup(7.5) — This was a bit bland. The beef slices were overcooked and a bit chewy. The soup was a bit wierd to me, too. 4. Pan Fried Pickle Cabbage Cakes($ 7.95) — This was really bland! My whole family had to use soy sauce to make it better. The chef probably forgot to add salt or soy sauce to the filling. 5. Singapore Style Pan Fried Rice Noodle($ 7.5) — This was a bit oily. It had a nice curry flavor. Overall, the food is ok here. I wasn’t really impressed with any of the dishes. I was surprised that all the tables were ordering the spicy beef and tendon noodle soup, since it wasn’t that great.lol.
