Having worked closely with an «Indo-chinese»(correctly termed as Indian-Chinese) restaurant from the place of origin of this type of cuisine, I was disheartened to say that this restaurant is nothing like Indian-Chinese with several basic mistakes in their methods. If you are new to Indian-chinese and have never heard this cuisine before or have eaten poor quality Chinese in India before, then you might love it, but as a person who frequents the very restaurants that gave birth to this form of cuisine, I am saddened to give it 1 star. Sorry!

I just love Indo-Chinese food and use to be really disappointed with the stuff that rusturants offer here in the bay area, until I discovered this awesome awesome place. We have been here twice, once it was dine-in and second time it was to-go, service was good both the time and we ordered: 1. Chicken Lollipops: Yummy flavorful chicken, and it wasn’t battered too much, which I just loved. 2. Paneer Pakodas: I really Liked one, it was a chinese twist to the Punjabi Pakoras, again the Paneer wasn’t blad, which was the best part. 3. Manchow Soup: I think one can pass this one, wasn’t that great, and was kind of bland. we had to add a lot of salt and other sauces to extract the taste out it. :) 4. Chicken Chowmein/Hakka Noodles: It was great, light and fluffy noodles, perfectly spiced(on the milder side) with crunchy veggies and bite size juicy chicken pieces. 5. Veg Schezwan Fried Rice: awesome is the word, just loved it. Great taste and balanced heat. 6.Schezwan Chicken Gravy: Bang On, perfect sauce & Just perfect chicken. Truly, authentic Indian style Chinese food, I don’t care if that statement really makes sense, but Wang’s Kitchen made my evening both the time. Loved it Ambience: Its a casual place so just be comfortable and hog on some yummy stuff.

I think the reason this place has gotten very few stars is because the expectation might not match the product being served. This is Indian-Chinese cuisine. Like American-Chinese cuisine with its Crab Rangoon(which has zero crab in it), Indian-Chinese cuisine has its own idiosyncracies. Historically India’s main Chinese influence has been via the widely spread and large Tibetan immigrant population, a small pocket of mainland Chinese in Kolkata, and its ties with HongKong and Singapore which were British enclaves. This cuisine does not have a lot of soups like regular Chinese food. Its mainly Chowmein and Fried Rice — you can’t go wrong with any of them. The«Gobi»(Cauliflower) Manchurian is a quintessential component of this cuisine which is served on every street corner in India. If you get the Chilli Chicken, try the one with Green chillies in it for more authenticity. Try to Momos for some Tibetan flavor. With regard to service, its typical and authentic Indian. I’m used to it, its got its own charm :) The ONLY reason i give this 3 stars is because they don’t serve Pork. The half-fat and half-meat pork chilli is orgasmic, I wish they would make it!

Indians have a different version of Chinese and this places sums up Indo-Chinese. Spicy Asian food is what you will be treated in here. We ordered the Shezewan Fried Rice and Vegetarian Hakka Noodles with Chilly Chicken and Dry Lamp Manchuria. The food was very close to the Chinese we get back home(India) and left me satisfied for my Indo-Chinese craving. It can get a little spicy, so beware but they have great variety to choose from and absolutely love that they have this beverage Fresh lime Soda(Sweet/Salty) that we used to get back home. Decent quantity and fair pricing. The day we visited this places, they looked understaffed as it took about 25 mins for our food to arrive and there was only one person running around taking orders. The place is ordinary, not very fancy looking but clean and comfortable. The only hindrance being the area has a foul smell the minute you step out the restaurant.

Not sure what Indian Chinese was. but we thought we’d give it a try. It should’ve been a sign that at 6 o clock on a sat night… the place wasn’t busy… nor the parking lot full. Looked like there were a few groups form the soccer game that just let out at Levi’s Stadium. We were iffy and probably taking too long that we started with the Tom Yum soup before ordering anything else… it came out piping hot… but good lord. it was as if someone had dumped a whole container of salt into it. We asked for boiling water to dillute and they brought luke warm water… We ordered the pepperbeef with gravy… and there was lacking of beef flavor. it tastes like dough in thanksgiving beef gravy. The chicken fried rice tasted like asian fried rice, but the chicken was battered. Wasn’t bad, it was the long grain rice, maybe i should’ve asked for recommendations from the table around us. Their fried rice looked yellow and like it had more flavor. We asked for a recommendation in fish not sure what we ordered but it wasn’t bad for probably not worth the $ 15. It was two fillets on a small plate. We also got the kway teo and it was a bit soggy. We also got the Okra and tomato. and like everything else I’m pretty sure the Okra was deep fried before sauteed with the other stuff. Overall. the service staff was nice so a plus for that. Almost every dish that came out was overly salted. Maybe the chef for the night had a heavy hand. Half my party were still hungry after dinner and instead walked to liangs kitchen for another«snack». Not sure if i’ll be stopping by again.

My idea of perfect place is that it should be neat, good service, less crowded if possible and of course the food should be great. This place met all my expectation. Food was great, I tried the Szechwan fried rice and American chop suey, both were good and flavorful. We also ordered Spicy Fried Chicken for appetizer but it wasn’t too great. Will definitely go here again and try other items in their menu.

I have been here three times in the past month! And I’ve ordered the sweet corn soup with crispy wontons(my addition) every single time. I just love the thickness of the soup and the taste of it too. The first two times, we ordered the same thing. Chili Paneer, gravy vegetable manchurian, and hakka noodles. The third time, we decided to try the dry vegetable manchurian, and the pan fried hakka noodles. We were going to get the gravy manchurian again but we were advised to get the dry one because the noodles would have gravy in them. The noodles did not have that much gravy… but it was still okay. The service is nice, but a little bit forceful… like they think that since we ordered one with gravy, we cannot also have another gravy dish. Rather than asking, they kind of just suggest very strongly. Another thing is that it is kind of inconsisten in taste… sometimes missing salt. But nothing inedible! I haven’t tried very many Indo-Chinese places so I cannot really compare… but I like it enough to come back again :)

This place used to be very good when it started in 2013. Really inconsistent when it come to the taste of food. The manchurian dishes are a HUGE let down. Very bland! The Singapore noodles was ok. Chicken lollipop was ok the first time we ordered but on the subsequent visits, they were so bad. The chicken tasted very stale. They need to really improve on the food and service.
