Papa John’s Pizza

Horrible customer service. Took over 1 ½ hrs to get order after being quoted 30 – 40 mins. Driver went to totally wrong address, got lost multiple times and had attitude when he called me for directions. pizza was cold and when I called to complain they said O sorry we are busy and short drivers. Did not offer any type of compensation. Will never order from this location again!

Average tasting pizza. I don’t know what it is about their thin crust, but it tastes sweet. I’m normally a fan of thin crust but I can’t stand theirs. They also now use a 3 cheese mix which is mostly Parmesan. If you love Parmesan you’ll like it, but I’m not a fan. The prices are high. We usually order a small pepperoni and a medium veggie thin crust and its around $ 50 after tip and delivery fee. They’re typically pretty quick to deliver. It did take almost an hour once, but that’s not the norm. We’d rather make the trip to mod. It’s about $ 20 cheaper for 4 of us and tastes much better. But if you don’t want to get our of your pajamas, order some expensive mediocre pizza.

Real pizza bases, real ingredients, traditional pizzas, enough said!

Tonight my family and I were coming home from my my mother’s house in Mill Creek. While sitting at a light on Dumas Rd — getting ready to enter the intersection a Silver Toyota Prius (hatchback) with a bright Papa John’s sign blew through the cross walk and almost into the intersection. He tried to back up, but was unable to so we had to maneuver around him.
Once we’d made it back on Bothell-​Everett Hwy he showed up again, nearly pulling out in front of our car from a side street. Instead he zipped in behind us. We reached the 1^st light and he slammed on his breaks nearly running into the back of our car. We proceeded forward all the while he was so close to our car that we could not see his headlights. Once we got to the 2^nd light we noticed that he was headed back to this Papa John’s, so we pulled in with him.
My wife went into the store front (realizing now the kid had forgotten part of someone’s order which is more than likely the reason he was driving irradically) to speak to a manager. However, there wasn’t one on the premises.
She tried to discuss with the other three employees that their driver was a problem, it was raining and he was driving like a maniac! She was meant with a smirk, and a «that’s a funny story you’re telling him lady.»
The lack of respect on the road — and at the store has made us realize that we no interest in your food, not just at this location, but at any location. It’s one thing to be in a hurry and not realize how fast or reckless you are being; but when someone comes into your establishment and wants to make sure someone knows that an employee of theirs — while on their clock — is driving in a highly dangerous fashion and they are meant with smirks and the cold shoulder it’s clear that they do not care.
The name we were given was Beau (the driver) but with how the kids were all acting I’m sure this was not his name.
Dominos got rid of their 30min delivery time for a reason — I would hate to see Papa John’s suffer the same fate!

I ordered Papa John’s for my parents last night. She’s recovering from minor surgery and he’s her nurse and can’t cook, so they were happy on all accounts. This was the first time they’ve had pizza from this chain, and they really liked it. Got a regular crust which was on the thinner side which they prefer.
When I placed the order over the phone, I had to repeat what they wanted twice before he got it. I was concerned the pizza would show up with the wrong ingredients, but they got it right.
The delivery driver wasn’t intimidated by the four dogs that were barking their heads off at the door. He got a good tip. They told me 30 minutes for delivery and were on time.

Usually the pizza is OK, but you often have to put it in the toaster oven for a couple minutes to get it to the ideal temperature. Today’s delivery is WAAAAAY behind schedule. I placed the online order just before 5:00 and got the email confirmation a minute or two later. I called the store an hour later to ask what was up, and after several minutes on hold, the girl told me that it just went out the door. No apologies, no offers for a coupon or a free side. The pizza finally arrived at 6:45, 1 hour and 45 minutes after ordering. Unsurprisingly, although he said he pulled it right from the oven and brought it over, it was lukewarm.

Papa johns is mediocre but just one question… Why does papa johns use weird breakfast sausage for a pizza topping??? First time ordering sausage on my pizza from here and it was gross! Get real sausage! Yuk!

My double pep. Looked like degiorno pizza. Ice cold also. Won’t order again from this location..

Man is this place really a hit or miss. Sometimes they pick up the phone and get my order quickly. At other times they take forever to pick up the phone then place me on hold for minutes… to the point where I just hang up.
There is one guy here that actually has great customer service.
The rest of the staff I have encountered have no respect or customer service skills. You can tell they hate their job and don’t give a crap about you or your order.
The pizza is decent. I normally order if I’m on the run and don’t have time to cook. There aren’t very many great pizza places in the area either .
The customer service from the staff needs to drastically improve here. It is not acceptable.

We have always purchased from this location, with no problems up till the last time. We have spent a lot of money at their location over the years too.
There was a few incidence in the past where the pizza was cold or took extra long. None were like the last time though. We ordered our pizza and was told it would take 45 minutes, but actually took about 1.5 hours. The pizza was about $ 45 which is a lot for pizza and was cold by that point unfortunately. The guy who delivered the pizza said sorry, and I knew it was late so I said no problem thank you.
While eating the pizza, after eating two slices, I was chewing on the third slice and noticed something odd. I felt something flat like rubbery in my mouth while chewing. I reached in my mouth to see what I was eating and pulled out a thickish piece of plastic that was cut into a triangle type shape. When I saw that, I looked at the piece of pizza I was eating and saw that there were small pieces of plastic cooked into the toppings, sticking up out of the cheese. Was almost like they were chopped up from a bag that maybe the meets or cheese came in.
I decided that we are never purchasing pizza from this location ever again. Although, my wife had earned enough points for a free pizza at that, as we always bought papa johns for pizza. She order it and it was fine after checking it over like a hawk, but I for one am no longer a fan.

i love papa johns but it’s unfortunate that they don’t deliver at the time they say they say they will :(45 min late delivery and they forgot the sauces

We order a large pepperoni pizza from here weekly. The order is always right! We do carry out and the staff is helpful. I use the app to order and it is easy to use; you also get reward points every time you do and at 25 points you get a free pizza. Love rewards!

Ordered this tonight. The pizza is always good. We also ordered Pizza Hut tonight and that was a mistake. Total let down. Papa johns did great! Except they forgot the sauces. Other than that it’s good! Recommend over Pizza Hut!

Ordered the veggie delight and something in it was a lil sweet. Was is the sauce or the bread i am not sure. anyways did not like it.

I order my pizzas strictly from here mainly because it’s the closest pizza shop to my house. I order through online and I pick up between the time they say it’ll be ready by and it’s always ready.
My only concern is that the pizza dough usually tastes and feels like… Dough. It’s definitely got a hint of «I could use three more minutes in the oven» taste to it. I think I’ll make sure to ask them if they could keep the pizza in the oven a little longer for me.
Oh, I’m also a bit worried about the whole handling money and going back to working on the pizza gig. I’ve never really caught anyone handling a pizza, handing money, and then returning to the pizza (as I leave right when I pay), but it’s an assumption since the cashier/​pizza dude has to dust off his hands or wipe them on a cloth before taking my money.
But I mean… That pizza is gonna be baking in a 400+ degree oven anyway. Who cares about germs?!

It had been so long since I last ordered from here, that I had forgotten I had even been here until I saw my review from 2010.
Well, I just ordered from Papa John’s again and I stand by my previous review. While I have tried several other pizza joints in the area and have liked maybe two others, Papa John’s is still a solid choice for the Mill Creek area.
Tonight, I ordered a large sausage pizza online… Yes, without even talking to a human, and I immediately got email confirmation of my order. While the delivery was later than I was told in that email (55 minutes instead of the quoted 30 – 40), my pizza was still good, not hot, but had not cooled down to the point of having to reheat it either. Besides, after finding an online coupon, I saved 25% on my order, so who could complain? A large one-​topping pizza, some ranch, and a delivery charge ($ 3.49, not to be considered a tip) only set me back something like $ 15. The delivery kid was sweet, apologetic, polite… No complaints.

I give this Papa John’s 5 stars because the service is always excellent. We order pizzas from here and there is always a special request on every pizza, like added toppings, cooked well done, etc. and they always have nailed it. The food is good, but exactly what you would expect from Papa John’s delivery pizza. They’re all the same, typical franchise pizza, but their accuracy of ordering every time earned my full score.

Facing a family get together and we are not prepared, oh my! So I created an account on Papa John’s because we like their pizza. I ordered the special for us kids and the garden with bacon for the adults. The food came at the right time, the price was good, and the food was hot. The delivery guy was pleasant and because I’d used my card, it was a quick sign the receipt and he was off.
The pizza’s really hit the spot and we spent more time talking than preparing food which is always a plus in my book. We’ll be back (said with a Terminator accent).

Staff is awesome here for carry out and delivery! I’ve used them personally and for church events. They were always on time and did a great job!
Pizza is always right and good here. I’m a fan of Papa John’s in general but this is a great location! Check out the App in iTunes or Google Play Store for deals and easy ordering. I love it.

Dear papa Johns,
I am a dedicated customer and all my pizza purchases, whether special went or just having a gathering at the house, have all been purchased with your company.
But unfortunately I received the rudest, most unsanitary service ever. I placed my order at 10:01pm and did not receive a delivery. Instead I had to call in at 10:55pm to get an update on the delivery. The information I received from the associate on the phone were multiple excuses, starting from there were two people working that evening, they were backed up with deliveries and it was their first night closing.
When speaking with the associate he offered a free pizza on top of what I have already purchased and paid for due to the inconvenience (if I were to pick up the pizza instead). After arriving to your Mill Creek location and having to pick up the non-​delivered dried pizza, I was then told that there would be a charge. (And this was AFTER the associate handles cash without a glove and started making a pizza).
Disgusted after witnessing that (and I suggest you to check your surveillance) I have never been more disappointed with a franchise that I trusted and loved for so long.
In the past I have referred my friends and family to order papa johns, but unfortunately with this type of service, I would only advice to steer away. I really hope u look into your staff so that other Papa John customers do not experience what I have experience as well.
